Carla Baldwin is the owner and Creative Director of Baldwin Web Design. She has over 20 years experience managing digital marketing projects for clients including branding, website development, social media, printed materials, photography and video production. She oversees work produced by creative team and works directly with clients, managing deliverables within project timelines and budgets.
With her background of software and web development, she has a deep understanding of the implementation of digital products. She is well versed in CSS3, HTML5, Perl, JavaScript, MySQL and PHP. Carla is also experienced in customizing and extending WordPress themes and core PHP files.

WordPress Web Design - Ruffatti
Ruffatti Ophthalmic Instruments provides Ophthalmic, Diagnostic and Treatment systems to eye care practices throughout the Midwest. ROI is a long time client. It was great to work with them again on this new site. The site was built in WordPress and includes a searchable 60+ equipment catalog and theme customizations to include Equipment Manufacturers.
Manufacturing Web Design - RPT Custom WordPress
RPT develops and markets new and proprietary radiant panel products such as ceramic tile and hardwood flooring as well as warming panels embedded sheet goods. They also market their proprietary heat film directly to manufacturers. We designed and developed a new site for their growing business. Site development included a filterable asset library, custom post types, and customizations to plugins and theme.
Custom WordPress Web Design - IBI
Integrated Benefits Institute, based out of San Francisco, is a research organization providing data, research and tools so that human resource departments can make sound decisions in how they invest in the health of their workforces.
The website content was migrated from their old ExpressionEngine website into WordPress, the site was re-organized and redesigned from the ground up. The project included theme and plugin customizations. Custom add-ons included SalesForce integration with membership registration, a filterable media library, and an events calendar with event registration.

We built this responsive WordPress website for a local brewpub that recently opened in the Chicago suburbs. The site features menus, a photo gallery and events calendar.

WordPress Web Design - SML
SML Boat Rentals is located in Smith Mountain Lake Huddleston, Virginia and is a vacation destination for visitors from all over the country. We have worked with SML for many years and recently created a new WordPress website to manage their busy boat rental business.
Customizations were added to the theme and core code so SML could add and edit boat information and receive reservation requests. Visitors to the site can easily search and find the perfect boat for them to rent based on boat type and what activities they have planned.
