We needed help with our advertising and marketing.

What was the scope of their involvement?

B Squared helps us a lot with our online media presence, our paid advertising, and our social media marketing. Their scope includes creating Google Ads, developing our content and creative assets, helping us with our organic media, and defining our Facebook and Instagram audiences. They’re a full-service digital media firm.

Initially, they dove deep into my business to understand our voice, what we wanted to do, which customers we needed to target, and how we would drive those potential clients into our sales funnel.

What is the team composition?

I work with a manager who handles our organic content like social media posts and manages our community. Additionally, another social media manager handles our paid advertising, and both of them work collaboratively on our content. Occasionally, I also work with one of their media schedulers, as well as with B Squared owners.

How did you come to work with B Squared Media LLC?

I found B Squared through word of mouth; they were a recommendation from a professional contact. I needed a small, nimble team to work with, and they were recommended to me because they met those requirements.

How much have you invested with them?

I spend around $2,500 per month. So far, my investment has been around $100,000–$125,000 in total.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around the Q4 of 2018, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Although we’re a cashback platform, meaning that our service is free and we give people money back, it is actually difficult to get them to sign up. However, B Squared has helped us drive cold leads and warm leads to our sales funnel.

As a result, B Squared has been responsible for about 80% of our inbound new memberships. Thus, I can comfortably attribute 65,000 new members during the course of our engagement to them and their media efforts.

How did B Squared Media LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

Although B Squared performs better than the average company, their project management could be better. Their strength in this regard is that they effectively leverage the tools they use for project management. We use Swydo for our reporting, and we communicate via email, phone calls, and Microsoft Teams meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

B Squared is very responsive to market trends, and they always know what is going on in the social media context. They’re always up to date with the strategies that are working well, and they excel at tracking metrics and seeing how ads are performing. Within this area, they have a high degree of autonomy. Additionally, they’re really good at understanding my goals and being creative around them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

B Squared’s project management could improve, but I believe that the way they work is the result of their decentralized platform; they have team members in different locations, and we don’t have a dedicated project manager. In addition to that, it would be great if they pushed their own limits in the creative part of their work.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be honest. You should be upfront about where you want them to focus on and what your budget is for each campaign. Still, once set those requirements, give them creative freedom to use whatever method they think would be the best approach to get to the end goal.
