What challenge were you trying to address with Awsmd?

Our old website was outdated and not user-friendly, so our primary focus was to improve the client’s digital experience and build a website that fulfilled our business and customer requirements. Therefore, we needed help with building a simple yet scalable landing page with a modern-looking and fully functional front- and backend.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Awsmd designed and developed a new website for us from scratch using React, Node.js, and Figma. Initially, we had a call to provide them with our brand guidelines and all the necessary information. After that, they began a brainstorming process during which they shared their ideas on how our website design could be improved.

Then, Awsmd performed user research and analyzed the user roadmaps, after which they created some concept designs. After a few concept iterations, we settled on one concept and continued to develop it.

The main requirement for our new website was a clean and fresh-looking UI. In finance, it is very important to keep things simple and easy to use. Thus, we asked Awsmd to implement a neat and interactive design for the site.

In addition to that, we asked Awsmd to make the animations for drop menus and scrolling as smooth as possible to make the UX as simple as it could be. To achieve this, we also requested implementing a simple user journey.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Since relaunching our client’s website with the new UI/UX, we’ve seen a dramatic increase in the number of users on our platform and visits per day. Awsmd listened carefully to our different requirements and unique demands to craft designs that answered our needs. Now, our website is live and helping us achieve our growth goals.

In addition to that, Awsmd’s work quality was great. We haven’t seen any bugs on our site, and we’ve been highly impressed with its functionality. Their team went above and beyond to understand our desired outcome.

Awsmd was great at project management, and their level of professionalism was impressive. We knew what to expect going into every meeting, and they excelled at communicating and meeting deadlines. We used Figma, Trello, and Slack to collaborate. Moreover, we jumped on a video conference call whenever needed, and we used to exchange emails a lot.

Awsmd did an overall excellent job. After having this new website, we launched marketing campaigns and had an increase of 160% in our traffic conversion.

Awsmd’s led high-performance project management. We had meetings to discuss all feedback and deadlines, and their team was very productive. Regarding tools, we communicated using emails and Telegram.

Initially, we provided them with our brand guidelines, and they did some research and provided us with three main concepts for the website. Then, we selected one of those concepts, and they were in charge of designing and implementing the site.

As part of the design work, we requested Awsmd to create and implement some animations. They used Figma for the designs. On the development side, their scope included front- and backend development using Webflow as the main technology.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Thanks to our new site, our traffic and sales have increased by around 20%. Awsmd delivered a very user-friendly website, helping us increase its value, and they did an excellent job at helping us implement the animations we requested. Those animations make the site very smooth, which helps convey its value. Moreover, the site works very smoothly, so we haven’t experienced any issues.

Awsmd met our deadlines and stayed within budget. Throughout the project, we had weekly Zoom meetings with the project manager to iterate on the designs. Additionally, we communicated via email.

I don’t think there was something Awsmd could have improved on — they’re a specialist in their field, and they’re very good at what they do.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We haven’t started marketing our website yet because we’re conducting research and sharing the site with our stakeholders. Thus far, everything works smoothly, and stakeholders like the way the product works and looks. Overall, this project was successful for us. I really appreciate the work they did, and we’re fully satisfied with the result.

How did Awsmd perform from a project management standpoint?

On the initial proposal, the project was set to conclude by January 2023. However, we spent extra time doing research, so we delayed the project. On Awsmd’s side, they kept everything on time and within budget. We used email to communicate and Skype for video conferencing. We also had a group chat, which was very useful.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We chose to work with Awsmd due to their experience — they have a lot of experience with different types of projects.

I don’t think there is anything Awsmd could have improved.

Providing feedback on time can make the work easier, smoother, and clearer. Just be clear and precise with your feedback.

I’m the head of operations at a pharmaceutical distribution company. We provide distribution services to pharmaceutical manufacturers.

What challenge were you trying to address with Awsmd?

We wanted to explore how we could have better exposure to mobile apps. Given that, we hired Awsmd to build a mobile to help people know what we do and become potential customers. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We have our developers and designers working on the app, but we use Awsmd’s help for backend integrations; they also provide advice on the app's infrastructure. Our team has developed the product’s frontend, but their members have created additional wireframes using Flutter. They’ve developed those wireframes as well. 

For features, the app enables habit-making and timely intake of medicines. Initially, the product studies the user’s behavior and tracks their habits. Then, its recommendation system provides timely reminders for when and how users should take their medicine. This is where we use Awsmd’s crucial help. Meanwhile, the product is available on Android devices only.

We work with 5–6 teammates from Awsmd, including a project manager, a couple of Flutter developers, and some backend developers.

Hiring Awsmd was a team decision. We found them on Google and checked their reviews and work; one of my colleagues interviewed them, and then we hired them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

There haven’t been many downloads since the product is still in the testing period. On top of that, we haven’t invested yet in marketing. However, the feedback has been positive among our team members and the focus group that has tried the app. 

How did Awsmd perform from a project management standpoint?

Their Awsmd’s project management is quite strong. They’ve helped us solve a lot of missing bits and pieces for the app; they’ve also done this in a timely manner. 

Moreover, the team has met deadlines despite some setbacks from our end. When bugs and crashes appear, their backend developers and project manager sort them out quickly in less than a month. For tools, they use Asana to manage tasks; we use emails and Zoom calls to communicate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m impressed that they’ve helped us work on missing wireframes and user stories that weren’t initially thought through by our team. The team has worked on these issues even if we didn’t even discuss it in the agreement — they’ve done this as a bonus service for us, so to speak.

No, there aren’t any.

Don’t try to do things yourself. To avoid wasting time and resources, go directly to their awesome designer. They’ll do everything for you.

What challenges were you trying to address with Awsmd?

We wanted to create an app that could enable us to protect and encrypt files.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Based on the documentation and requirements we gave them, Awsmd created an Android mobile app for us from scratch, including its backend. Regarding functionalities, they created an app for file and cloud encryption that allows users to protect documents with strong algorithms, which are based on our unique technology. The platform also has built-in file management tools to move, rename, and delete documents within the app. In terms of tools, they used Flutter and Node.js.

We worked with around five members of Awsmd’s team, including a couple of project managers and three developers.

We spent around $21,000 with them.

Our development and beta testing teams have tested the product, and it’s working as intended. In addition, they successfully tackled all the bugs and crashes that arose throughout the process. Overall, we were happy with the mobile app because it met our expectations.

Awsmd’s project management was great; they delivered our requests in a timely manner. In addition, their team never failed to reply to me, even on the weekends, which made the process faster. Regarding tools, we used Trello, Telegram, and Zoom.

Awsmd’s communication, dedication, and engagement in the development process were their biggest strengths.

I didn’t think there was anything they could improve on because we were satisfied with their work.

Be constant with your feedback on them because they work at a fast pace, and sharing your ideas late might delay the process.

We needed development services for a small mobile application.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We initially showed AWSMD the design that our in-house designers created, and they quickly built the app from scratch using Flutter. The app was a QR code scanner for our governmental app. It was supposed to become a wallet, but we had some issues regarding regulations, so the App Store didn’t allow us to add that update. We had to find a workout.

We worked with one project manager. During the onboarding call, we also had a chance to speak to the development lead.

They were a referral. AWSMD did some design and development for the government in the past. We wanted someone reliable, and they offered a great discount.

The project lasted from January–April 2020; it was a simple project.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The application was relatively simple. It was supposed to be a breakthrough, but we ultimately couldn’t do what we wanted. However, it eventually helped us because we did the web interface for the payment page.

Although the app didn’t launch as we wanted, we had it in the App Store, and the management was very happy with the result. AWSMD did a great job, and the application worked well.

How did AWSMD perform from a project management standpoint?

They were perfect and on time. We only used emails and Skype calls to communicate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

AWSMD did a good job of delegating us to their Russian-speaking project manager. Overall, they tried their best to work with us during our working hours.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there wasn’t anything to improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I suggest defining all the functionalities and sharing them with AWSMD so they can give you better guidance on how to do the project, what to do first, and so on. For example, we started with the first part and then did the second when we should’ve done it all at once. We should’ve given them a better understanding of the requirements.

My partners and I love the website. It’s definitely on par with what AWSMD stands for and their services. We all love it. 

How did AWSMD perform from a project management standpoint?

We’re fine with how things are progressing. The team’s services have great value for our money. In fact, they’ve never asked to increase the budget even when we request complex 3D animations. 

To communicate, we use emails and Telegram. We’ve tried to use Slack, but my partners aren’t a fan of it. We also use Notion, but the project isn’t too complicated for us to update and communicate everything there. As a result, it’s more convenient for us to stick with Telegram.

Their strength is their creativity. They can come up with out-of-the-box design concepts. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They should work on their social and online presence. For context, we searched for companies on Google, and they were in the last position.

Trust the process. In our engagement, we weren’t initially sure where things were going. However, when we saw some of their work, we decided to trust AWSMD — we were pleasantly surprised by the results.

I’m a project manager at a startup that provides nutritional supplements for individuals who want to achieve high physical and mental performance. We offer supplement pills that people can take during a workout or when they have physical activity.

What challenge were you trying to address with AWSMD?

We needed to develop our company’s website. We had an idea of how we wanted our site to look. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

AWSMD designed our website’s UI/UX and developed it. Originally, we contacted them for the UI/UX design and planned to look for another development company. AWSMD told us they could build the site, and when they provided the animation file and presented the final work to us, we decided to go with them.

We had initial wireframes for how we wanted the site to look, and AWSMD developed it from scratch. They offered to develop the website on Webflow or React; we chose React because our site has a lot of animations. For the web design, they used Figma since it’s a collaborative platform, and we’re designers as well. 

The site is currently in the beta testing phase.

We searched on Behance and other platforms online and talked to seven other design studios and agencies. We scheduled interviews to learn about their UI/UX design process. Ultimately, we chose AWSMD because of their portfolio, communication skills, and online presence since they’ve worked with big companies previously.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

What I like most about the website AWSMD designed is its animations, transitions, and presentation of the information. Users who scroll through the site immerse in our company’s branding and philosophy. The site works smoothly, and we like that.

The website has an awesome design; our team loves it since it’s functional and trendy. Our website traffic is improving as well as our shipping. Overall, AWSMD developed a user-friendly website, thinking about its maintenance.

How did AWSMD perform from a project management standpoint?

AWSMD met deadlines and stayed on budget. They even developed additional features we asked for and didn’t charge extra. 

I talked weekly with their developer manager and senior designer through Google Meet. We used Telegram for instant messaging and emails for formal letters. Moreover, our collaboration on Figma was smooth.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was most impressed with AWSMD’s experience. Their design skills were impressive as well. AWSMD knew how to create an interactive design and how the UX should work in the first place.

I can’t think of anything for AWSMD to improve.

I recommend you provide as many references and ideas as you can. AWSMD is really good at doing research, but they need to know what you’re looking for. If you want your project to move quickly, you must provide them with as much information as possible.
