Integrated into Dynamics NAV and built with additional bespoke features to maximize our teams efficiency to update and schedule marketing and content. Fully integrated with our email marketing suite. Ongoing develpment, updates and support of our website after build.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Website build was in 2021. It was very successful and we still work closely with Aware. We have a small team who work on our digital marketing in house and Aware feel like part of the team.

The team at Aware is very knowledgeable, and they always have a can-do attitude. We have a heavily customised website and we have a development list that we are constantly adding to and working through with them in an efficient workflow. We have regular calls and review progress and prioritise open developments and new projects. Highly recommended.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Aware are keen and knowledgable and always on hand. Always a fast response and support. They are always on hand if we need them and in Critical situations (very rarely needed to thankfully) their response is all hand on deck to get the site back online. Excellent customer care and communication.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Aware Digital could have done differently?

We've had no issues. Very happy.

We engaged Aware to oversee the migration of our six language sites to the Magento 2 platform. In addition, we entrusted them with the creation of a bespoke product journey, enabling our customers to view digital representations of our products.

Aware played an essential role in shaping the website’s design, ensuring that our sites are visually appealing and fully responsive across all devices.

Following the successful launch of two initial sites, we are now collaborating closely with Aware's marketing team. Their expertise is helping us maximize the potential of the Magento 2 project while also enhancing our google adds and tracking.

Two of our sites are currently live and are generating orders and the marketing team have begun to rapidly improve our marketing strategery.

Aware’s project management team has been instrumental in driving the success of this project. Mel, in particular, has played a pivotal role in the successful launch of the sites. Her exceptional ability to quickly understand challenges and implement effective solutions has been invaluable. The project management board always remains organised and up to date, always providing a clear and structured view of progress.

Chris has been a significant force behind the recent marketing advancements, consistently going above and beyond to keep the project on track. The dashboard and monthly reports have been incredibly insightful, offering stakeholders—especially those less involved—a transparent overview of the project's developments

Response to issues and questions always come in a timely and concise manner. The bi-weekly catch ups are a great tool in project communication.

This project has faced many challenges and one of them being COVID. Aware have always worked to fix any issues and communicated clearly during these times. Again, their dedication to ensuring that this is a joint project has made any heralds solvable.

I'm a department head of Broxap, the UK’s market leader in the manufacture, supply, and installation of street furniture, including external seating, bollards, planters, signage, litter bins, recycling bins, cycle parking equipment, shelters, canopies, walkways, outdoor playgrounds, and outdoor gym equipment.

What challenge were you trying to address with Aware Digital?

We needed a web development company to look after anything web-related that required coding, new designs, or fixes to allow for an optimized website. We also needed help with site maintenance and security.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of work done by Aware Digital?

Aware Digital provides ongoing development, bug fixing, ad hoc feature builds, UX enhancements, site maintenance, and security. The team has delivered new page layouts, optimized web pages, increased speed, and fixed bugs.

What is the team composition?

We work with the entire Aware Digital team.

How did you come to work with Aware Digital?

Aware Digital’s Andy, the Managing Director, used to work for Broxap a long time ago, and our IT manager was still in contact with him. After meeting with Andy, we found Aware Digital proactive and the type of company that would help drive our website forward with new ideas.
How much have you invested in them?
We invested in the hyva build which was extremely expensive and we have yet to really see any benefit. It has been 6 months, so hopefully we should start seeing it soon.
Their hourly rate for the ongoing management is reasonable.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Aware Digital in November 2023, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The team are great to work with, although we find some tickets to be slow to be dealt with.

How did Aware Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

We deal with the whole team, but our main contacts are Andy, Mel, the Account Manager, and Adam, the Senior Developer. Andy and Adam can find a solution for just about anything, and the developers do a solid job fixing most issues. Mel is a great project management and manages to resolve any issues. We communicate via email, tickets, and a fortnightly call.

Aware Digital is great to work with. They are proactive and have some great ideas

Are there any areas they could improve?

Int he past we have struggled with knowing what tickets are being dealt with and there have been some which have taken a long time. We now create a weekly priority list so both sides know what needs to be worked on. Since doing this we seem to have cleared quite a lot of tickets and it looks like we might be able to get onto the more 'exciting' projects

If you've got lots of tickets then create a weekly priority list. This has been invaluable for both sides.
