There are varying needs within the buildings and workspace ecosystem, which is highly dynamic with diverse requirements. The IQnext is a cloud application that uses IoT's data-driven solutions to optimize usage and ensure safety and security.

Teamwork was strong and Aufait UX did work as a part of our team. The process was smooth and I have had a great experience working with them.

We were able to acquire new customers with lesser friction due to the impressive interface and usability of the application

Its is quite effective, also considering that the project has started 3 weeks before the entire world went into the Covid lockdown. Even during this period the majority of the execution was done with minimum frictions.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They had a very positive approach, especially during the stages where they had to learn and understand our product, user persona and the pain points that was being experienced at that point in time.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They could involve more diverse team members in terms of experience and backgrounds to bring in the diversity in creativity for solving problems.

We had a kick off meeting to discuss all the requirements and specifications needed for the website. After a few iterations, the team was able to clearly display our company strategies and returns in the most informative and attractive way and delivered a very easy word press website to manage.

Our point of contact remained two people, the lead designer and head of UX. The team consisted of UI designers for visual aesthetics and UX researcher for usability aspects.

Clients and existing partners love the website and all provided positive feedback. With this new website, the company looks stronger than before.

When needed or if there was ever the sense of miss communication amongst the parties, the team never hesitated to set up a call for us for clarification.

The team was always ready to incorporate various changes that came along. Designs were iterated and adapted according to the business needs. The workflow was very smooth.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They were some instances where some features could have been implemented better but once the team was informed, they made the corrections immediately.

I am Director and Co-Founder of Tech Ideaz Pty Ltd which is a technology start-up company based in Australia. Tech Ideaz develops both B2B and B2C technology products for customers.

We used Aufait to design the wireframes, user flows and a clickable prototype for our mobile application (Minimum Viable Product) based on our initial concept and presentation.

We knew what we wanted to build but we did not have the design experience or internal capabilities to create a full design specification. We needed a group that could take our concept to design and then create a detailed prototype that can be referenced by our development team for the build.

What were your goals for this project?

Key criteria of our design included ease of use, simplicity, visual appeal and automated workflows. The application included integration with multiple third party services. A key business criteria was making the product "essential" to customers in managing their day to day life.

How did you select Aufait UX?

We selected Aufait from personal references and after an initial discussion where they convinced us of their merit, experience and innovation in design. They provided us with value- added design services and suggestions.

Aufait worked for 2 months on a design for a mobile application. We provided initial design ideas which then embellished and detailed to provide a suite of over 75 wireframes with accompanying user flows.

They understood our customers, our design and architecture /technical requirements. They broke the design into multiple stages or views. We discussed each phase over zoom and then they showcased their design through sigma. We made any agreed changes (iterations) and then went to the next stage.

In the final two weeks they ensured all the components fitted together in a prototype that we could use to show both our developers and potential investors.

What was the team composition?

Our point of contact remained two people, the lead designer and head of UX. The team consisted of UI designers for visual aesthetics and UX researcher for usability aspects. Both understood our objectives and really provided us with options, insights and best practices to continually improve our design.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The design is now being used to assist with quotes from the development teams. The design has proven to be very useful in detailing the visual aspect of the business specifications for greater accuracy of quotes and expectations. It should reduce the time the Tech Ideaz team spends with developers.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The team was responsive. They took the time to understand the project, business requirements, and outcomes. They worked on the key wireframes first and then developed all the user flows and designs from the key wireframes.

By employing a "build out" design strategy the need for rework was greatly reduced. We only had a one hour catchup each week but they used the time effectively to draw out all the details they needed to create the user flows.

The wireframes were quickly expanded from 6, to 30, 50 and then 75 in the final design. Figma application was used to show real-time updates to the design for our team to check and provide feedback within the day. The teams worked well together and Tech Ideaz is very happy with the outcome.

They exceeded our expectations in:

• Mobile design knowledge (latest best practice)
• Their understanding of both our customer and our product
• Their suggestions for improvements that we hadn't considered
• Their ability to take an idea and transform it into a pragmatic user flow

We worked on a process that suited both teams and in an agile fashion. Areas for improvement:

• Formal status report on project prior to each weekly meeting (proactive) to track progress and final delivery date.
• More defined scope agreement to improve estimation ie any cost changes should then be via agreed change control

- During the initial phases of execution, things were not smooth. I believe they had some resource constraints. - Later after escalating with Bijith things got better. - Once, we had build certain momentum, then things were pretty smooth. - They were very accomodating in the change requests and were receptive to various feedbacks shared during iterations.

They have been rooting for the design to be good as well as wanted to consider every point that would help the product’s development as well as business goals.

Are there any areas for improvement?

• More resources would help the company to drive more projects.
• Transparency from them in case they are not able to move on a project due to resource constraints will help in setting the right expectations and avoid any confusion later on.

Jollywell is a mobile platform that recommends nutritional supplements, daily habits, and health improvement programs to help people better their health. Nutrition supplements are plant-based, chemical-free, and organic. Habit reset includes adjusting food choices, optimising activity levels, and improving mental health. Health improvement programs address specific issues and are offered by our panel of experts.

Oman Air is the National Airline of the Sultanate of Oman. We fly to over 50 destinations worldwide. Iam the Senior Manager for Loyalty and Social Media. I manage Sindbad, the frequent flier programme of Oman Air.

Sindbad is the frequent flyer programme of Oman Air. We had to enhance our systems to support the growth of the company. As the Senior Manager, Loyalty and Social Media of Oman Air, I had the responsibility of developing Sindbad to give Oman Air a winning edge in acquiring and retaining the right customers.

This involved developing various aspects of the loyalty programme including defining a robust data acquisition framework across channels & touchpoints, a website and mobile app.

Aufait was hired to design and develop applications for online and mobile platforms that integrated with our existing frequent flier system.

What were your goals for this project?

To enable our members to manage their Sindbad accounts and associated services themselves. This includes checking/updating their profile details, member account balances, claiming missing miles, digital card and so on. The system also had to reflect our brand style guides to give the user a consistent look and feel.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

Aufait was our existing vendor managing www.omanair.com and our existing mobile app.

Enhance the user experience of Sindbad by improving the web and mobile customer applications with the features like Digital membership card, Enrollment, Miles Summary, Notifications, integration with Sabre reservation system and payment gateway for Miles redemption and booking tickets.

What was the team composition?

The team had a project manager, design lead, development lead and 4-5 team members.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were able to launch https://sindbad.omanair.com/ and related mobile app successfully with them within the set timelines and the new system played a key role in increased acquisition and activation rates.

It also reduced the mails that came to our customer service teams as members had more control over their accounts and could do many of the interactions themselves.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Though we had formal agreed processes, the Aufait team was very flexible and approachable. I could call them at any time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They are a small and flexible team with a blend of creative and technical skills. They were able to deliver based on what we needed on time. They are very proactive and often gave us ideas and suggestions to improve upon our ideas. They worked as an extension to our team at Oman Air.

They had a small UX team with one UX researcher and a designer. Our point of contact was the team lead who sent us all the UX deliverables from the team. The UX designer pitched in case of design discussions.

The UX design was very simple and to the point and helped us to get a lot of clarity in coming up with a design that does the intended job. The UI design has met our expectations and has helped the development team to a great extent

It's a platform where players can play skill games at their convenience by solving riddles and challenge players from around the world. The players can book a game by paying a fee. There will be multiple levels in a game. Total number of winners will be announced earlier and those players who solves all the riddles and the final level will win the cash prize. I am the founder and CEO of the company.
