We've had a partnership with ACS for more than a decade now. ACS is more than an IT service provider they are key partners in our success. We meet regularly to address ever-changing IT challenges and how we need to be proactive in our IT investments as we grow. From a move from independent desktop programs, onsite data storage, to cloud base storage and subscription-based services ACS continues to provide value.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

ACS recognizes the investments a small company must make when growing. Creative and solid solutions allowed us to grow at a rate without sacrificing reliability and security. At no point were our next steps not well thought out with our best interest in mind.

With any long-standing business relationship, changes with processes and people are inevitable. ACS’s commitment to our needs has never wavered as like us they have grown, adapted new processes, and people.

It would be easy to say nothing at this time. ACS continues to grow as like their clients. They adapt to our needs very quickly which is a never ending process.

I'm the VP of operations for Tri-Tech Forensics, a crime scene investigation products company. We provide forensic kits for DNA, GSR, and sexual assault, serving crime laboratories and investigators worldwide.

What challenge were you trying to address with Atlantic Computer Services?

We needed help with IT services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Atlantic Computer Services provides local off- and on-site IT services for our small-sized company, from frontline Tier 1 help desk support to CIO-level consultation. The team has designed and implemented our internal and external networks, systems, and software. Moreover, they've assisted with implementing a full complement of cybersecurity initiatives.

Regarding cybersecurity, Atlantic Computer Services has participated in and provided all documentation and access required for an independent third-party audit to zero-trust standards for our network and cloud-based systems. Post-audit, they've implemented numerous changes into our systems, including licensing changes, the addition of numerous pre- and post-delivery enhancements to email, and real-time protection of all computers and network traffic.

We found Atlantic Computer Services through an online search. We chose them because they could provide local services and cover the full range of needs for our company.

A follow-up audit was conducted in 2024 that demonstrated previously indicated opportunities for improvement had been achieved.

Atlantic Computer Services hits their timelines. We communicate via Microsoft Teams meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I'm impressed by Atlantic Computer Services' ability to achieve goals. They bring additional resources or expertise to ensure they deliver what they promise.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything for Atlantic Computer Services to improve. From help desk to CIO level consultations, they have the talent and ability to provide a complete picture of IT needs.

I’m the CEO of CAP3, a consulting company. We provide small businesses with fractional CFO and CMO services, offering expert financial and marketing guidance on a part-time basis to support growth, improve decision-making, and drive profitability.

We've relied on them for several years for our Microsoft 365 licensing, help desk services, and monthly cybersecurity training for our entire team.
