OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Athmin Technologies, and what were your goals?

To develop the app for Android and iOS. We ended up also redesigning the app to improve the UX

How did you select Athmin Technologies and what were the deciding factors?

I know some developers from my work at Walmart that recommended them. We had several calls in orders to explain the project and evaluate their portfolio and knowledge.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

They developed the app for android and iOS. As well as the backend that supports the end to end experience. We started with the backend, the android to start with and do all the QA. From there we started iOS.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

My main point of contact where the CEO and the PM. The team was composed of 6 engineers, 2 backend, 2 android and 2 iOS developers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The deliverable was the app and the entire software we offer to our customers. I loved what they delivered. It went beyond what we initially started with. We added new capabilities and the engineers recommended new features and improvements in UI and UX.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.

They have their own tool to work on a Kanban. We prioritize features, bugs and fixes. As they built functionalities and did QA, we started testing and sharing feedback to enhance the app. They were very clear on timelines and had great communication when things deviated from plan.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The involvement they had with the product. They didn’t limit themselves to do what I asked. They understood the project and suggested changes and capabilities.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Of course I would like them to be faster. It took us a long time to have the final product, but some of the delays were caused by changes on our side. Whenever things didn’t went as planned, they were great at communicating deviations.
