I’m the president of Colorlatino. We’re a hair care company with an exclusive hair care line. Our market is very specific; we target salons and hair professionals, so it’s not a mass-market product.

What challenge were you trying to address with Asia Web Solution?

We had minimal participation in online sales. We had a traditional Salesforce channel, and we wanted to take advantage of the online market.

Additionally, we wanted to make sure that the website was secured and only accessible to professionals. We have specific pricing and other things that we didn’t wish end clients to see. Therefore, we had to make sure that those features were incorporated into the website.

We started with e-commerce development. We explored different platforms, and Asia Web Solution advised us on which one to use. They offered us many options based on our own needs and the size of the operation. Then, we went into the implementation phase, which took a few months. After the implementation, we went through a series of adjustments. We incorporated other features, and now the website is fully operational.

Asia Web Solution built the website from scratch. We provided them with a company brief, the concept, our target market, and images and corporate logos that they could use for the design.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve created a new market. Before this, we had zero online sales. Right now, our online sales represent about 10% of our total sales. Also, it’s easier now to introduce a new product.

How did Asia Web Solution perform from a project management standpoint?

Communication is pretty good. They’re very open to listening, and their response is fast. Moreover, they make sure that they get the right idea.

We communicate through Skype, either by message or voice.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re more capable of understanding our specific needs than other companies we’ve used before. Asia Web Solution takes a customized approach to solve issues. They really pay attention to the specifics of the company and project, and that’s what makes a difference to us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Working with a company outside the US poses some challenges — the biggest one is engaging in a project where you don’t have face-to-face interaction. There are some limitations, but they’re doing their best to compensate.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Spend a good amount of time in the planning phase before going into the development. It’s vital for the project’s success. Also, make sure that they completely understand the scope and requirements.

They came up with some suggestions and samples of what it could look like. Since we sell across the world, Asia Web Solutions had to add multiple languages and countries to the site. Additionally, they designed a new logo for us. They’re still our webmaster for the site and they also work on our SEO.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The website is well designed and it works well. Our orders are always going up all the time. Whatever they’re doing in the background with SEO is working. We’re getting orders from countries that we wouldn’t normally get orders from.

How did Asia Web Solution perform from a project management standpoint?

My one point of contact always responds quickly even though they’re on a different time zone. We communicate via WhatsApp, Upwork, Skype, and I can just call him whenever. It means the world to me that they’re ways available. I know they’ll always try their best.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Prashant always tries to understand what we’re looking for. For me, that’s very important.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There was a point where we requested a lot of changes and I wasn’t sure if they understood all of the changes we wanted to make. There was a period of 10 days where I was concerned, but everything was much better after that.

Work out what you’re looking for first. The more elaborate you can be about what you’re looking for, the more they’ll have to work with.

On top of that, their knowledge of the materials that I needed seemed on point. They also offered insights on what I was already working on, telling me what they could do with the work I needed. As a result, I hired them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Overall, Asia Web Solution has had a great impact on our business. Their work, communication, and turnaround times are amazing. They get the work done within 1–3 days from when I issue a request.  

More importantly, their communication has been great. When we need them to change or look into something, they work excellently. They know what they’re doing when it comes to building programs that we utilize on the design aspects of our website. With their help, we’ve also been able to retrieve data from those who come to the website. 

How did Asia Web Solution perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is excellent. We have several methods of communication, including emails and telephone calls. This has been truly helpful as we talk back and forth. In other words, they’re highly accessible. They’ve also been highly specific to our needs in each of our projects. Overall, I don’t have any problems with their project management style; they’re truly good at it. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Apart from their communication skills, I love that they’re not very salesy. Plenty of other companies aren’t really helping customers; they’re only trying to get their numbers up. Meanwhile, Asia Web Solution is highly flexible and communicative. If something has been miscommunicated, they take care of it right away. 

For me, that’s important because we set the budget aside for each project. Oftentimes, we don’t need to overextend our budget because their team aligns their work with the fund. As they do that, the quality of their work also doesn’t suffer, and that’s highly important, too. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Asia Web Solution is open-minded and creative, so if you have an idea, communicate it with them — they’ll expand on it. On top of that, they’re highly personable, which I truly love. Moreover, have your requirements ready; tell them what you want them to do specifically. If you’re not sure about the deliverables, set up a meeting with them.

In our engagement, my point person has been amazing; they’ve helped me figure out what I need when I’m not sure about it. In other words, communicate effectively with their team members and company, and you should be fine.

I’m the director of the retail sales channel of The Gobbies Group. It is a division of a larger company called Noah’s Ark Animal Workshop, and they primarily provide craft toys to preschools, daycares, and summer school camps. The Gobbies is another line of toys that we brought to the market last year.

What challenge were you trying to address with Asia Web Solution?

We wanted to have an eCommerce solution and have the website available for individual sales, but also make it a place that holds educational entities where preschools, daycares, libraries, and toy stores can come to, and purchase larger volumes for educational or retail purposes.

The site would have the same checkout process, but have different pricing whether they sign in as a school or a retail store.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We worked with Asia Web Solution before, particularly with the entire Noah’s Ark Animal Workshop website. We wanted to use them again to build the Gobbies Group website so we reached out to them.

I’m not a technical person so I don’t know exactly what we did, but we did a few things to make sure that the site was functioning properly between our two main markets; educators and specialty retail stores. The site uses a WordPress platform and I was the person who really had the artistic design vision for what I wanted the website to look like. We went back and forth a little bit, but they were incredibly creative with taking my pencil drawings, coloring them, and bringing everything to life.

They exceeded in the design and artistic presentation of not only the content, but the graphics on the website as well. The design elements tie the information together in a nice, fluid, and cohesive manner as you scroll from the top to the bottom — the tiny elements also make the entire theme consistent throughout the original line of Gobbies toys.

What is the team composition?

I exclusively communicated with Vikrant (Web & Mobile UI/UX Designer), but I believe there were other team members that worked simultaneously to execute on everything.

How did you come to work with Asia Web Solution?

Dina, the president of Noah’s Ark Animal Workshop started working with Vikrant many years ago, and I believe she found him through Upwork. I think the reason we chose them over other people was because we’d been accustomed to their work and communication. They’ve always executed what we needed not only from a design standpoint, but on the functionality as well.

How much have you invested with them?

I believe we’ve spent somewhere between $25,000–$30,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from March–June 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The site’s been up and running, and we’ve received quite a bit of business through it already — which is mostly due to our marketing efforts. We’ve not only had sales from our MailChimp campaigns, but we’ve also had people signing up and filling out the data fields. I actually followed up with a few of them to see what their experience has been like, and they had nothing but positive comments.

While it’s still a little premature for me to give you the analytics, we’ve been happy with the experience that the customers have had on the site. We’re generating sales, we’re getting people to sign, and they’re not just buying our products, they’re also registering their information and subscribing to our newsletter.

How did Asia Web Solution perform from a project management standpoint?

They performed well. There were things that took a little bit longer than I anticipated, but some of the time it was due in part to either me not having the answers, or I just underestimated what we needed and what was it going to take to get it. However, everything was really put together in just three months, and that’s spectacular.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most important thing for me was the ability to communicate with them on a regular basis. Given the time difference between us, they made themselves available. I’m sure they’re not considering that their doors are open for business 10 hours a day, but they did, especially when there was something critical that needed to be done — they always responded in a timely manner.

Are there any areas they could improve?

None that I can really think of. Although, there were instances where I don’t always know if I’m dealing with Vikrant or someone else, but other than that I can’t think of anything.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would just say to try to be as clear and concise as you can be, in your description of how you want something to look. I don’t think you can oversimplify your explanation or description of something.

I’m the digital marketer at Healthy PCOS. Our organization predominantly serves women with conditions by selling them health supplements to hopefully improve their health.

We wanted to gain more traction in organic search. As a result, we hired Asia Web Solution to help us kickstart our efforts and be more accessible on Google.

What was the scope of their involvement?

At first, our company didn’t do anything with regard to SEO since we focused on social media. When Asia Web Solution came on board, they audited our marketing efforts. After that, they executed a range of services for us such as optimizing our keyword rankings, creating backlinks for certain keywords, and optimizing our blog posts. They also searched for additional keywords that we could target in our industry. 

At present, Asia Web Solution provides constant maintenance of our SEO performance. Moreover, part of our business agreement is letting us learn about SEO for the long term. As a result, they’ve created SOPs and guidelines for SEO. This way, we can also become SEO experts in the future.

I found Asia Web Solution on UpWork. What appealed to me in particular about them was the price of their services. I was aiming to get the best bang for my buck, and I felt that I could get the best value for my money by hiring them.

So far, we’ve invested around $27,000, but our whole budget is $20,000–$30,000.

We started working in February 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The KPIs we use include backlink volumes, organic traffic, and revenue from organic traffic. For SEO, we check our domain authority every month or quarter, as well as our website’s global rank, loading speed, and performance grade. Overall, I have seen improvements in these numbers. 

They’ve fluctuated quite a bit as we compete with other companies in the industry, but we’re now averaging about 9,500 hits in organic search, which is nearly double our previous average. Overall, Asia Web Solution’s ability to continuously generate quality backlinks with high monthly search volumes has been key to the success of our project. 

How did Asia Web Solution perform from a project management standpoint?

The Asia Web Solution team never misses any deadline whenever I want them to do additional tasks on top of SEO and backlink generation. We hold meetings once a week to discuss important weekly items that we need to complete. Overall, their project management is great.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their passion and attitude toward delivering high-quality work on an ongoing basis are impressive. On top of that, they’re interested in improving themselves and what they can achieve in our project — they strive for improvement. We can’t ask for more than that. 

Moreover, they have a highly positive characteristic and a determination to teach me about SEO. We’re doing SEO campaigns on a high level, but they’re also helping us know what they’re doing. Many companies aren’t open to that because we won’t be needing their help after a certain point. By contrast, Asia Web Solution is happy to help. I’m truly impressed with this characteristic of theirs. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They should connect more with the customers. Most freelance companies do the required work, but connecting more with customers — not necessarily the business that hired them — would yield improved results.

Have constant communication with Asia Web Solutions. Schedule weekly meetings, organize them, and follow through. Apart from that, know what you want before hiring them. They’ll help you with the process, especially if you don’t understand the market or SEO.

From an aesthetic point of view, our website looks great. It is very modern, and everyone who has seen it likes it. It boosted our brand and our marketing. This achievement is very helpful because people who like the website will continue visiting it and might recommend it to other people.

Asia Web Solution’s project management was very good. They had a very good understanding of our requirements, and they performed very well during the design and setup. We sent messages to communicate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We worked with several other developers before working with Asia Web Solution, but neither of them worked out. They either couldn’t deliver what I wanted, couldn’t achieve the functionality I wanted to have on the website, or were very slow.

However, Asia Web Solution implemented all the functionalities that I needed, and they understood what I wanted. They had an impressive capability to execute our requirements.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. Everything was great. I just hope that they continue to maintain our website and keep it operational.

Having a good understanding and communication is very important. For example, I drew out all the things we wanted to have by hand during the development phase, which helped them understand my requirements.
