We are a hosted communications application for hotels. I'm the director.

What challenge were you trying to address with Atoz Softtech?

We implemented a messaging platform for both chat and SMS, and we needed a developer to help us. We wanted to integrate this new platform into our existing customer-facing software.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They created the whole chat program from the very first line of code. We gave them several requirements, including the ability to chat among individual users, groups, and visitors, either through the chat feature or though text.

What is the team composition?

We work with two individuals. One is more proficient in Python, and the other is more proficient in PHP and design architecture. The second contact was also responsible for database schemas and message routing.

How did you come to work with Atoz Softtech?

I chose them because of their experience in the SMS and chat world. They satisfied all our requirements, and we decided to work with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent anywhere between $30,000-$50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around December 2018, and they completed the initial phase by about August 2019. The project isn't finished, and we just started rolling it out to our customers. Once we have a better idea of necessary improvements, we'll circle back and make changes.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We've expanded our feature set and methodology over the course of our collaboration. They brought great ideas to the table, and they modified certain things for better market adoption. They satisfy all our requirements, and they deliver more than we ask of them.

How did Atoz Softtech perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is good. We use Trello for the project, and they monitored all the activity and provided feedback. We also communicated through Skype, Amazon Chime, and phone as required.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a reasonable timeframe are both very good. This is a fluid project, and they're always flexible and dedicated. They were never responsible for any delays.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't think there's anything they should improve. I have a good experience with them, and they turned our ideas into a real-world application.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure you're clear about your requirements. Have open communication, and help them understand your goals and desired features and functionality. Their success is based on your clarity.
