Our existing IT software was cumbersome and outdated. Users complained and there was no provision for streamlined work flow. We required a logical, intuitive platform that all users could navigate and comply to business standards.

We were referred to ArtHaus from a business supplier. Having researched other ArtHaus projects and speaking with them we gained confidence to engage.

Initially we scoped out the project - this involved my management team and end users itemizing key requirements, putting into some order and presenting to ArtHaus. ArtHaus then ensured they could deliver in the manner we required and presented a project work flow detailing how the development would progress. Each module of development was focused on and gained our approvals before being signed off and other projects commencing .

One lead developer with input from others when required.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our key users were happy with the result. The end product was a major technological advancement over our previous software.

Excellent feedback, patience, understanding and knowledge of what it was we required. Very prompt deliver of tasks.

Communication - despite being in different countries the ease of communication, and hours that mostly suited us, was appreciated. This made the project flow.

None i can think of.

Development of a cloud-based software to log/plan the following on sports turf and urban green areas: fertilzations, biostimulants, work, irrigation, lighting/heating, performances, pest control, pest geolocalization.

What were your goals for this project?

Obtain a complete and ready software that could be sold online on a yearly license rent basis.

How did you select this vendor?

We had already worked with Arthaus on EU-funded Precision Farming projects, and they had already revised and updated the software for our portable and autonomous weather station.

Development of: GUI, software, back office, access to phone GPS localization, billing. Integration of: seed, species, pests, fertilizer, biostimulants, machinery libraries. WordPress setup of software website.

What was the team composition?

Initial coordination and pricing with CEO of Arthaus, followed by review of process at regular intervals. Three developers for software development. One web publisher for website.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Not yet. We will launch the software next week. But we are very happy with it and the first end-users feedback is extremely positive.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We used the Trello platform, and it was extremely effective.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Response time. Skill. Pricing.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Their location (Skopje, Makedonia) does not allow for more frequent face-to-face meetings (few flights in-out with Italy). But I cannot falt them directly for this.

ArtHaus has provided us with dedicated Full Stack developers to help us enhance our VB.NET code.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal is to enhance and improve our software functionality for new and existing clients. To do this we needed dedicated developers we could build a strong relationship and could help us grow, and deliver our goals.

How did you select this vendor?

We put a job advert on a third party website for developers/developer houses to bid on and ArtHaus reached out to us with their resources. After a conversation between us, we felt they had the resources we were looking for at a competitive rate.

ArtHaus are working on many ongoing projects with BrightOffice, all under the same core code engine. My team have a daily communication with the developers to discuss job specifications, they then carry out the code changes and then we test the changes before they are deployed into a live environment for our clients. The changes involved could be HTML, creating new/editing existing Web User Controls, new Stored Procedures, DDL, DML and more.

What was the team composition?

Our team currently consists of one Senior Full Stack developer based in ArtHaus' office.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We are currently into our 5th year working with ArtHaus and we plan for this relationship to continue into the future, as they have been fundamental in providing us with a resource that has helped our software to become rich in functionality which has driven our sales to increase and allowed us to tap into much larger clientele than we have in the early years.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We currently use Teams, TFS and Jira for the management of the project. The communication is excellent and there are absolutely zero language barriers, as the developers I've communicated with have all spoke excellent English. The developer also has outstanding attendance and is also really committed to arriving to work earlier or working some hours on weekends when it is required for certain aspects of the project.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their excellent communication skills and ability to absorb information quickly set them apart. They understand the requirements I am asking for right away.

There is very little I would ask to improve on.
