I’m the owner of Grand Rapids Web Design; we’re a web design agency.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Artful Code?

We wanted to redesign our website but didn’t have the time to do it ourselves due to client projects. On top of that, we needed help designing a web application.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Artful Code helped us redesign our website. We built a basic layout, which the team used to build the high-fidelity design using Figma and Webflow.

They also used Bubble to design a web app from scratch. The web app is a portal for our existing clients to make payments, manage their subscriptions, and connect with us when they need help.

What is the team composition?

We worked with three people: a project manager, a Webflow developer, and a Bubble developer.

How did you come to work with Artful Code?

I found them on Webflow’s online marketplace.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $4,000 with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from September–November 2022.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Artful Code created an effective website design that increased engagement. We’ve run ads on the landing pages they built, and they’ve resulted in leads.

The web app has streamlined our processes and helped us save money. We don’t need to call or email clients to request payment information because the app manages subscriptions automatically. It’s also been useful for our clients because they can manage their payments and subscriptions through the app.

How did Artful Code perform from a project management standpoint?

Artful Code managed to deliver the project within budget, which was nice. The web application took longer than expected, but it all worked out at the end of the day. We added them to our Slack channel and met via Zoom and Google Meet.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed by their ability to deliver solutions that have saved us significant time and money.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Everything went well, but we could’ve saved time upfront if they’d listened to our feedback.
