We hired Aroha Edge to streamline business processes, improve operational efficiency, and support the successful delivery of our digital initiatives.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Aroha Edge handled the end-to-end design and development of a taxi booking platform from the ground up, including the customer-facing mobile application and the admin panel. The scope of work included UX research and user flow design, UI/UX design, branding (logo and app icon), mobile app development, and backend/admin dashboard development. Key deliverables included a streamlined booking experience with car class selection, multiple payment options, trip comments, user profiles, saved addresses, an FAQ section, in-app customer support chat, and a scalable admin panel to manage operations efficiently.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The project resulted in a faster, more intuitive platform with an improved user experience and a modern, scalable architecture. The streamlined booking process, enhanced performance, and comprehensive admin tools helped increase operational efficiency, improve customer satisfaction, and provide a strong foundation for future user growth.While we didn’t track or publicly share specific performance metrics, we observed noticeable improvements in the overall user experience and operational efficiency. 
The redesigned platform streamlined the booking process, delivered better performance and stability, and made it easier for administrators to manage day-to-day operations. User feedback was generally positive, particularly regarding the improved interface and ease of use.The improvements in operational efficiency and user experience were assessed primarily through internal observation and qualitative feedback rather than formal analytics dashboards. On the operational side, the admin team reported that managing bookings, user queries, and trip updates became significantly faster and more straightforward due to the redesigned dashboard and clearer workflows, reducing the time spent on routine support and manual coordination.
From a user experience perspective, we noticed fewer recurring issues related to navigation and booking confusion, as well as a reduction in basic onboarding questions from new users. The simplified booking flow and clearer interface also led to smoother first-time usage, with users requiring less assistance to complete key actions. Additionally, feedback collected through support channels indicated higher satisfaction with the app’s speed, usability, and overall design consistency.

How did Aroha Edge perform from a project management standpoint?

Aroha Edge’s project management was structured and responsive, with clear communication throughout the development process. Milestones were well-defined, progress updates were shared regularly, and feedback was incorporated efficiently during each phase of the project.The team generally delivered within agreed timelines, with any adjustments being communicated in advance and handled collaboratively. Overall, the project stayed on track, and deliverables were completed in line with expectations without major delays.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What stood out most about working with Aroha Edge was their ability to translate business requirements into a clean, functional product experience. They didn’t just focus on building features but on improving the overall user journey, which was evident in the thoughtful UX design and streamlined workflows.Another impressive aspect was their end-to-end approach, covering everything from branding and UI/UX to mobile and backend development. This made the process more cohesive and reduced the need for coordination across multiple vendors. Their responsiveness to feedback and willingness to iterate quickly also made collaboration smooth and effective.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Overall, the collaboration with Aroha Edge was positive, and the project was delivered successfully. If there’s one area for improvement, it would be in providing more detailed documentation during certain phases of development, particularly around backend workflows and admin panel functionality.Additionally, more frequent interim demos or prototype reviews could have helped stakeholders validate features earlier in the process and further refine small UX details before final implementation. These are minor suggestions, and they don’t take away from the quality of the final product delivered.
