We chose Arham Web Works all based on previous works carried out by Priya. She has always completed our projects to a high standard with excellent communications and prompt completion times.

This is the scope of works in dot points: - design mobile app for android and iOS platforms - app will dynamically update content as we add new products and edit our website - app will have login service allowing 3 different levels of pricing to be viewed (contractor, wholesale and consultant) - app to be future proofed for additional options

We only communicated directly with Priya, however I believe there were a 1 or 2 other members from Arham Web Works that assisted in the background.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

At this stage, we are about to "soft launch" our new app with a select audience, so we don't have a lot of feedback as yet. However with our in-house tests we've run so far, we're very happy with the outcome. The app runs smoothly and updates new data very fast.

Communication was very prompt and always high attention to details.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Communications and knowledge, prompt turn around of project tasks. Always communicated first if unsure about any particular detail.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I don't believe so, it was a very smooth process. They have also been very patient the whole way as we had many delays which slowed the project at times.

Thanks to their work, our site’s speed has increased almost three times. We’ve also noticed improved customer conversion rates and positive feedback across the board.

They’re excellent at meeting deadlines and staying within the established budget. We also don’t spend much time trying to explain things to them, which is good. Regarding tools, we use Shopify to communicate with them.

They’ve quickly provided us with an accurate scope of work, and they’re also recommended by Shopify, which distinguishes them from other providers.

They could be more clear about payments, but other than that, I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on.

Kushal’s team was very fast and efficient and they accomplished any feedback we gave them with agility.

They also did well with the animation and performance of the website and made sure that it functioned properly and effectively.

I’m the co-founder of Traveling Healthcare Rentals, an agency that finds housing for traveling medical professionals across the US.

What challenge were you trying to address with Arham Web Works?

We were looking to endow our website with complex features and functions. This entailed intricate search engine capabilities, the inclusion of Google Maps, and payment integrations.  

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Arham Web Works worked to ease the process of how users sign up and list their properties on the site. They also focused on sophisticated search engine and mapping functions, where different properties are located and filtered.

The development took place in the form of an iterative process, there we worked towards a final version by taking them through various approvals.

What is the team composition?

I primarily interfaced with a team lead, who managed three others.

How did you come to work with Arham Web Works?

While many modern web designers focus on simplicity, I was looking for a vendor who could do something more complex. We researched firms, and after rejecting several different proposals, we came across Arham Web Works. We instantly hit it off.

The team lead had a deep knowledge of both the front and backend functionalities of the website we needed, and gave us a very detailed proposal of what he could and couldn’t do.

We spent somewhere around $20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together around June 2018, and the relationship is ongoing. While the project is completed for now, we’re always looking to improve the CX side of our business, so we’ll continue to rely on them for updates.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’ve received excellent feedback about how user-friendly our site is. Its ease-of-use is just one component of its general focus on customer experience, which is our primary focus.

The team lead was phenomenally easy to communicate with. He exhibits what I call “courageous leadership”­—where he’s not afraid to tell you when something isn’t going to work. His insight and transparency have saved us thousands of dollars.

While he’s extremely technically proficient, he’s able to dumb down the tech-oriented language so that someone like me can understand it. His ability to concisely express intricate technical concepts is pretty amazing.

How did Arham Web Works perform from a project management standpoint?

The project management was phenomenal; the team leader is super responsive, and his follow-ups amazingly prompt. Since I’m very results-oriented, I appreciated the timely updates.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed by how the team lead navigated the delicate balance between taking orders and interjecting with his own ideas. He’s accommodating of whatever skill level in how he communicates with you.

No, I can’t think of anything.

Be open to their ideas, because these can make a world of difference. They’re really able to save you thousands of dollars.

I searched for designers through Shopify experts. I interviewed five companies and chose Arham.

I sent a preliminary design and Kushal and his team worked with me to set up the navigation and graphics. He also assisted in teaching me how to navigate and upload copy, images and videos. Kushal was also helpful in selecting and installing apps for our site.

Kushal was the project manager and I dealt with him.

We launched our site last week and Kushal has been very responsive to some issues we have had. He continues to help us. The site has been well received.

Our communication was mainly through email. We had a few zoom calls. Everything worked well, despite the time difference.

They gave us a professional looking site that is easy to navigate. I had never worked in Shopify before and Kushal was helpful in directing me on how to make my own changes and updates going forward.

Everything worked very well. I think one way to improve would be to have an open message box or running open issues checklist. I got a little blogged down with all the emails.
