What challenge were you trying to address with Arccus Inc.?
We needed help developing a mobile app.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Arccus Inc. is responsible for storyboarding the actual concept with all the stakeholders and performing periodical reviews to reach the final draft of the app. The team also develops the actual software app, performs a viability analysis of third-party APIs and services required for the app, and develops an MVP to verify with the stakeholders to ensure it meets expectations.
After that, Arccus Inc. finishes the final product, integrates all the observability-specific parameters, and provides adequate documentation and training as required. We worked in three phases:
Phase 1: Storyboarding for the first 3 modules—it should be done in 4 weeks, including incorporating customer feedback.
Phase 2: Develop MVP — it should be done in 8 weeks, including a few working functionalities with a limited beta
Phase 3: Fix any outstanding issues with MVP, integrate third-party services, and develop the first 2 modules as a GA feature.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The results have been fantastic. We've successfully demoed the app to the stakeholders, and it's been placed in customer beta with a limited audience. This has helped us scale the actual concept into smaller groups and later on to a wider audience. The primary challenges include working across time zones. Some stakeholders speak US English, and that created some confusion during a few iterations, which got resolved later. It was a brilliant experience working with Arccus Inc., as they have a very knowledgeable team as well as competitive pricing. The customer support was fantastic. One of our major pluses occurred during scaling and handling production support while resolving critical issues from the system, including minimal outages.

Project management with Arccus Inc. is great. Weekly sync-ups and periodical discovery sessions ensure the project is on track. They respond almost immediately, and the customer support is fantastic. We primarily communicated via Zoom and Google Chat.

There are many more modules too. The system has made school operations smoother and more organized. The Arccus team is still working with us for ongoing maintenance and adding new features as needed.

- Parents now get daily attendance updates and can track their child’s progress right from the app - Teachers save time every day since things like homework, attendance, and results are all managed in one place - Fee collection is smoother and on time because of the online tracking - Important notices reach everyone instantly, so nothing gets missed
Our team is now saving a lot of time on daily operations — the system has made things more efficient and organized
It’s still being improved, but we can already see how much easier and better things have become.
Teachers' time has been reduced from 3 hours to 30 minutes.
