How did your relationship with the vendor evolve?

They are not working within the agreed-upon terms and conditions. We were promised the application would be completed within 90 days, and it's been about 18 months. The App Scout team has repeatedly told us their technical team is busy, and we’ve been assigned multiple project managers who have gone on vacation. 

The App Scout has also wasted our time and money on the web services and hosting, and nothing has been completed. Their team told us things were finished, but they were not, and they made us pay upfront for services that never occurred. They have lied to us time and time again. 

How was project management handled?

The team is not responsive at all, and it usually takes 2–3 weeks to get any kind of response from them. We told them multiple times that we needed the app done by a certain timeline, and it has never been finished. 

In what specific areas can they improve?

They did nothing well, so they could improve upon everything. They could communicate better, be more honest, and actually follow through on what they say. 

What advice do you have for clients with similar needs to yours?

Don’t use The App Scout unless you want to waste your time and money.

• The work passed with good flow, and mostly they met the standard we wanted to give the client. We didn't have to make any changes,

Trello was our main way to keep track of everything, and we also used Google Meets and Skype to talk about details that needed to be taken care of in virtual meetings. The way things were run was good, and some great quality management.

The company's reasonable prices doesn't mean they skimp on quality or customer service. That's something I'd like to point out. They were very professional and friendly, and I'm glad the result was so good.

If we're talking about things that could be better, the response time to developments was good, but it could be better. The work schedule as a whole was great, and the delivery was also great.

The scope of work was to diagnose and fix the software quality issues in an ERP system. The project steps included completing a detailed analysis of the existing system, identifying and prioritizing issues, developing solutions for those issues, implementing solutions, and testing solutions.

The key deliverables included a detailed report on the problems found and how they were addressed, as well as documentation for each solution that was implemented. Technologies used were Java, SQL, and JavaScript for front-end development; C++ for back-end development; PHP for web services; SQLite and MySQL databases; HTML5/CSS3/Javascript/jQuery; Bootstrap 4 framework; AJAX calls within jQuery callbacks (no server-side processing); GIT version control.

The deliverables were completed on time and on budget, which is exactly what we wanted from them. We were able to get rid of all the problems with our ERP thanks to the software quality assurance services provided by The App Scout. They were able to fix all the errors, implement new features and improve user experience. They also made recommendations on how to fix the issue in the long term.

We communicated via email and Skype calls. We always knew what stage our project was in, what tasks had been completed and which ones were still pending.

Our main scope of work was simple; we just needed a simple and easy-to-use android UI/UX design. We just wanted it to be interactive and easy to navigate so that every client and potential client of ours could use it. However, we did want to use python and PHP as well as we preferred them to work with adobe XD. However, we were open to any other technology they introduced once they explained to us how it could be beneficial.

The project was very well executed; I was totally satisfied with the UI/UX design they provided us. However, we did not like a few things which had nothing to do with the design it sold but our preference. We told them about it, and they quickly fixed it. So overall, I am very happy with their work.

Their project management style was quite impressive. They were extremely timely with the reports and updates. And apart from that, they were also very corporative and polite with us.

Their customer service is the most amazing thing about this company. They were highly corporative and listened to our needs very attentively. They kept us updated with the entire process.

To me, there does not have to be any improvement; overall, the work was excellent. The staff was very corporative and professional. Apart from t tiny tweaks, everything else was perfect in our app.

The team did a great job in their time, and one of the best things about their work was that they took the project into their own hands and didn't need to be told everything. This made it easy to complete the task much faster.

They were great at communication. A new in this situation, there wasn’t a single thing that I knew, but this didn’t stop them from educating me about everything. We used skype to coordinate with each other and see discuss project outlines.

The most unique and impressive thing about them was how recognizable and professional they were. They were impressive at every place but being so professional and economical simultaneously is not common.

This was my first experience interacting with an IOS app developing services, so there is much I can clarify. But overall, I think there isn’t a such place they need to improve as I found them well and good at every place and situation.
