Sharing best practices and conveying how our IT strategy will best align with our company's vision.  Daniel shared many innovative ideas for our consideration and helped us prioritize these initiatives based on our budget. In every meeting with Daniel, our leadership team learned something new. He is excellent at simplifying complex IT information and conveying it in a way that is clear. The key deliverables include his recommendations, detailed explanations, and practical next steps.

His consulting led to the successful migration of our servers to a higher-quality, lower-risk, and more cost-effective managed solution, which resulted in significant cost savings. His expertise led to a different pricing model and a new strategy that allowed our team to focus on the most profitable client projects.

Daniel is incredibly organized and responsive. He consistently keeps commitments for virtual calls/meetings and is always prepared. He makes himself available if unexpected, urgent issues arise, and he maintains a calm demeanor. He consistently assesses risk and offers practical solutions.

We appreciate their responsiveness, expertise, and willingness to spend the time to get to know our business, our customers, and our IT needs. His level of professionalism is unparalleled.  He consistently follows up to check in at the conclusion of a meeting or the implementation of a solution; he always asks, "is there anything else I can do for you?" 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Daniel Amundson could have done differently?

Daniel exhibits incredibly strong, ethical leadership. He demonstrates exceptional communication skills and is an excellent listener. He is also a role model in problem-solving, business knowledge, innovation, collaboration, and strategic thinking. I honestly can't think of a development area for Daniel, other than to expand his customer base so that he can have a positive impact on other companies and leaders.

We had an existing custom code base that needed to be taken over after our existing software developer retired.  The code needed to be digested and then modernized into a scalable form factor in a modern language.  Cloud services needed to be brought in to maintain a distributed installation with central management and reporting of data.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Dan dug into a complicated, existing code base to understand the framework and help determine the best way to modernize our custom software base.  He made suggestions and began the process of migrating our feature set into a scalable form factor.  Dan has delivered updated executables with all new features that we've requested.  He has also been available for emergency assistance and has proven to be an invaluable resource providing fixes as problems arise.

Dan has always made himself availalbe in the timeframes that we've needed.  When deadlines have approached, Dan has put in the extra hours to get us deliverables on time.
