They built a firm portal that lets the firm set up and manage clients and team members, including logins and access.

They also built a tax intake form where forms can be sent to any number of clients. Once a client responds, the system automatically sends a tailored reply with the relevant forms and documents. Based on the client’s responses, the system creates a spreadsheet for the firm, with important items highlighted for review. It also tracks progress through each step and stores firm documents so they are easy to access.

They developed the Med Crunchr app, which allows medical expenses to be entered through a pop-out input screen designed to make data entry faster and more flexible. The entry process includes several customized options to speed up input and improve accuracy. The app also includes tools to streamline the review process, and it produces both PDF and spreadsheet outputs for use in the tax file. In addition, the system automatically calculates expense totals and determines the maximum eligible claim period for medical expenses.

We have 1-2 video meetings per week. I was shown the progress they had made during the week. We talked about th goals for the upcoming week. Several emails providing updates during the week. They delivered on time. Altoleap was extremely responsive to my needs. We shared an issue board where I could put comments and prioritize enhancements that I wanted.

Even though they were not in the accounting industry, they did research on terminology that was appropriate in our industry. Communication was A+. Very open with ideas. Probed for more details when something was vague.

We were working under a tight timeline, and I came in with a clear idea of the workflow I wanted. The team moved ahead with that direction and might have spent a bit more time challenging more of my ideas. I'm sure they would have if the timeline was longer. The result is still superb and functions as I hoped. The version for next tax season will include several enhancements that they had recommended.

We needed a semi-automated online quoting platform for pricing and quoting our buildings. This platform needed to be robust enough to handle changing business needs as our company expanded in the future. 

It needed to be able to provide a sensible breakdown of the various components of the building being quoted, and yet give our salespeople the option to include or exclude any component in the final quote that is presented to the client. It needed to be fast enough to cut down our standard quoting time by at least 25%, and have a 100% accuracy score. All these components were included and delivered on time, in two phases.

• Decreased Average Quote Turnaround Time: The average time taken from quote generation to its acceptance or rejection. A decrease in the quote turnaround time signifies increased efficiency and responsiveness in the sales process.
• Increased Quote Accuracy: Increased accuracy and consistency of the quotes processed through the CPQ system. The higher quote/order accuracy indicates the effectiveness of the CPQ solution in eliminating errors and reducing order discrepancies.
• Improved Sales Personnel Onboarding Time: Achieve a notable reduction in the time required to onboard new sales personnel to the team. By eliminating the need to rely on memory for a vast number of configuration rules, the CPQ system enables quicker onboarding of new sales members.

We estimate a reduction of approximately 30–40% in manual effort related to lead management and client onboarding. Onboarding timelines were also shortened, with many steps that previously took days now completed in hours through automation and standardized workflows.
