We were looking for help to increase and better use our Hubspot Marketing Hub account. Brian and his team were instrumental on getting us on the right path. It's always easy I think to work on things for our clients and sometimes within our own organization our own things get messy. 

We have a set of workflows now set up that really improved our marketing and sales process that sync directly with our landing pages and help us to better nurture our leads. Previous to this our workflows weren't really that build out and they were not really doing us many favors the way we had it set up. Brian and his team really gave us the extra set of hands and tools that we needed to get our own Hubspot automation where it needed to be.

What I found most impressive about Alpha Efficiency was their exceptional design skills. The team had a keen eye for detail and was able to create a visually stunning website that exceeded my expectations. They took the time to understand my vision and incorporated it into their designs, resulting in a website that was not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional.

Their ability to balance form and function was truly unique and was one of the key factors that made the website stand out. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with their designing skills and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a team that can deliver both visually stunning and highly functional websites.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Alpha Efficiency could have done differently?

While I was highly satisfied with the overall project outcome, I do believe that there were areas for improvement. Specifically, I think that Alpha Efficiency could have benefited from more extensive user experience testing during the design phase of the project. While the final website was highly functional and visually appealing, there were a few areas where I felt that the user experience could have been improved.

With more comprehensive user testing, these issues could have been identified earlier in the design process and addressed before the website was launched. That being said, I still believe that Alpha Efficiency did an excellent job overall and I would highly recommend them to others.

I’m the CMO and COO of Medicarewizard, a digital health insurance agency. We’re a B2C business focused on the medicare market that hauls from over 70 insurance carriers and their healthcare plans. Our main goal is to streamline people’s process of choosing the right medicare coverage to fit their needs through a simple questionnaire on our website.

We wanted to give our site’s frontend an aesthetic and stylish professional touch for our consumers. We tried to do this internally, but after numerous UX changes to our site, we couldn’t reach what we were looking for. Since our team didn’t have the capabilities, we decided to go with an outside hire for a web design team with experience working with consumer-facing businesses. We also needed a provider that could complete the task within a tight timeframe so we could have the platform ready for our peak demand season.

Alpha Efficiency redesigned our website. They collaborated with our internal development team on the data structures, formulas, and coding through a dynamic working model to ensure the completion of what we needed.

The first step was to provide several design options and looks for the landing page, which was the project’s most critical deliverable among the 40–45 pages that Alpha Efficiency created. It has a dropdown menu with a table of contents that links to sections and numerous calls to action. They made these designs on Figma, which was helpful because we could comment and edit in real-time. After these design efforts, our internal team took Alpha Efficiency’s work and implemented it through a recoding sprint.

In addition to that, as we were reaching our two-week deadline, they stepped up and were flexible enough to give us additional coding assistance. We added a supplement to our initial contract and provided them with extra resources to complete the new tasks, which they did with rates way below the market standard. For this part, they helped us with the landing page’s coding and other critical site features that were our trigger points for the consumer to stay with us and ultimately get conversions.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The general look of the site is now beautiful because it’s well-blended with imagery and abbreviated messaging — before that, it was cluttered with text and images that were out of place. Our board members and internal teams have also given us great feedback on the new site.

Overall, thanks to Alpha Efficiency’s work, our site is now much more professional and easy to use, and our engagement interactions are now stronger because we don’t have to spend time helping consumers navigate through the site.

How did Alpha Efficiency perform from a project management standpoint?

They met every milestone according to our deadline expectations despite our internal team slowing them down. Likewise, despite the different time zones, they worked with us on a daily basis, sometimes at odd hours for them — they were very flexible and quick at attending to every task. We would also send screenshots or some other documentation to them via email whenever something critical was missing, and they’d solve everything with impressive ten-minute-long turnaround times. 

Regarding their team, Angel is one of the best designers I’ve worked with in my many years of experience; he quickly provided us with design options for the site, embraced edits, and showed additional suggested views through his expertise output. Moreover, Brian took a personal interest and was invested with our team to ensure we were getting exactly what they said they would. In addition, Rada was great at arranging meetings with people overseas through Zoom or Google Meet meetings to ensure that everyone on the team was updated, communicated, and synchronized with the project.

Out of our numerous options, they were the only provider that took on the challenge of meeting a tight deadline while adapting to the scope changes.

I didn’t think there was anything they could improve on. They understood the project and were mindful and effective throughout the process by setting clear expectations and telling us what they needed from us upfront.

For bigger projects, I recommend using Alpha Efficiency rather than larger agencies. Alpha Efficiency can code, test, implement, and launch but also provide attention to details, timelines, deliverables, and client expectations, differentiating them from those other providers.

Onboarding this project was very quick and easy, and simpler than I expected. I spoke with Brian to discuss what my client's key outcomes and objectives were for a re-design. As I wanted Brian's team to take lead on the design, they jumped straight into drafting a design concept that was bang on without any revisions. The client loved it immediately and Alpha pressed on to turn around an entire site design in a matter of weeks. I did not expect it to go so smoothly!

Alpha Efficiency did web design for us from scratch; they enhanced our existing platform and took care of our e-commerce page using Figma. They did everything aiming for output efficiency. In addition, they’ve been making branding efforts for us, including creating colors for our logo, designing collateral for our site, and making pictures and graphic materials.

To jumpstart the process, we gave them some studio pictures we had and ideas of what we wanted. After that, they gave us a proposal based on their output on efficiency.

We provided feedback via Figma to help communicate on the project. The started immediately Saturday morning and went back and forth like this for a few days.

We needed to develop a website for our business. We wanted it to be very attractive and easy to use.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Alpha Efficiency has designed and developed our website on WordPress, using Figma for the designs. They created its design from scratch, adding great graphics alluding to the pharmaceutical industry like needles and pills. Additionally, they implemented the Acuity Scheduling API and a contact page per my request. Users can also request to refill a prescription on the site, and we get an email notification when they use that option.

Initially, they provided me with 3–4 different design options, but all of them were around the same concept. During the design process, Alpha Efficiency also designed our logo and color scheme. After deciding on the logo and the overall design, they developed the website.

Currently, they provide us with maintenance services for the site. Additionally, they’ve been helping me design marketing collateral such as a banner for an advertisement magazine, business cards, flyers, and an email signature.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I’ve shown the site created by Alpha Efficiency to my friends to try it and use it. The site is working very well, and it is very user-friendly and adaptive to every device screen. The scheduling system and the contact page are exactly how I wanted them, and users can easily request to refill a prescription or schedule an appointment.

Additionally, the color scheme that Alpha Efficiency used is perfect; it is beautiful and bright. If I had to think of the color myself, I would never have chosen that one. Everyone I’ve shown the logo to has commented on its beautiful color and creative design. Furthermore, the site pages are very organized and well designed, which I really like. 

Although I don’t have metrics yet, this site is going to help me a lot in this industry. With the COVID-19 testing and vaccine, for customers to be able to schedule appointments easily is very important. Overall, I’m 100% satisfied with Alpha Efficiency’s work; the process has been great, and the result has exceeded my expectations.

Alpha Efficiency has done a fantastic job. Most of our communication has been over Figma, which I’ve really enjoyed. On there, I can see their work in real-time. We also communicate via email and phone calls.

Alpha Efficiency is very task-oriented. If they get a task, they work on it until completion, which is a very important strength of theirs. Additionally, they are very creative and efficient.

In order to better their service, it would be good if Alpha Efficiency offered more complete packages with additional branding collateral design options. Having more comprehensive design services would make them a one-stop-shop.
