I’m a marketing specialist for PERI, a German company that sells and rents formworks for the construction industry.

What challenge were you trying to address with ALLWIN INFORMATICS?

We wanted to create an e-commerce website for our construction component products.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We first described our problem to ALLWIN INFORMATICS and created a customer journey about what we needed for the e-commerce site. Once they started developing the website, they customized it based on our needs.

The e-commerce site is a semi-automatic web store independent of the website. Clients can’t purchase from the webshop with a credit card due to our invoicing system, which doesn’t allow it in Hungary. However, the client can order the product in the web store, and the order gets sent to customer service to contact the customer and create the invoice.

ALLWIN INFORMATICS has also worked on the design and corporate identity book. They’ve done everything according to our identity guidelines. Additionally, they take care of hosting and maintenance, offering a couple of hours per month to develop and maintain the webshop.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with 5–6 teammates in total, including the CEO and IT consultant during the offer phase. We’ve also worked with a project manager and the development team.

How did you come to work with ALLWIN INFORMATICS?

I knew the owners of ALLWIN INFORMATICS, so we asked them to help us with this project. We started with the offer phase and had many conversations and meetings. After the negotiations, we agreed to move forward with them.

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve spent around $27,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started our partnership in August 2022, and they developed the website in three and a half months. However, our engagement is still ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We don’t have any statistics right now because we haven’t launched the webshop yet. We’re still waiting to do our marketing campaign, but we can say that it’s been a highly successful project and a good lesson for us. We’ve learned a lot about e-commerce. ALLWIN INFORMATICS is very experienced and professional, and I’d recommend other companies to work with them.

How did ALLWIN INFORMATICS perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re always on time with the deadlines, and the team has managed the project precisely and accurately. ALLWIN INFORMATICS keeps us updated with weekly and biweekly meetings on Microsoft Teams, where we discuss all the ongoing questions. Overall, they’ve been involved throughout the project.

In addition to Microsoft Teams, we use emails for communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re experts in their field; the whole team has a high level of expertise.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can only say positive things about ALLWIN INFORMATICS and their professionalism. They’re outstanding.

Be prepared with your corporate identity requirements before you start the project, and be proactive during the collaboration.

I’m the head of engineering at Asolvi, a field service management company in Norway. We started 35 years ago, had some additional growth, and bought other companies. Now, we operate in the UK and Germany, mostly targeting Scandinavia. We’re a full Microsoft shop with about 140 people.

What challenge were you trying to address with ALLWIN INFORMATICS?

We needed help with mobile development; we needed more developers with expertise.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

ALLWIN INFORMATICS provided engineers to help us with mobile app development. We had some existing applications, but we wanted a new product with upgraded and new technologies. They built the app 100% with SQL Server, .NET, and React. They also provided some backend API development.

We had about five products, and each one had a mobile version. ALLWIN INFORMATICS contributed to two of the products. The app was for iOS and Android; it was a helping application where a field service engineer could go out to a printer for maintenance, change cards, or follow up the tasks by using the application.

In terms of functionality, it worked like taking a picture or documenting actions at the site. Sometimes it could also show a route to the actual equipment that needs to be fixed or checked for fire and security. Additionally, the app supported offline mode.

What is the team composition?

We worked with four engineers from their team.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent between €200,000–€1 million (approximately $215,000–$1 million).

What is the status of this engagement?

The collaboration began in February 2019 and ended in December 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Responsiveness was crucial for us. We also wanted to ensure that our users had an app that reacted quickly, and we achieved that. Moreover, we added new functionality on the fly.

How did ALLWIN INFORMATICS perform from a project management standpoint?

They were timely in their deliveries and very collaborative. The team communicated clearly and nicely, and everybody enjoyed working with their developers.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their work was excellent, and they were professional.

Are there areas they could improve?

Management should improve their communication with their partners. The communication between engineers was fantastic, but there was no communication or follow-up between our leadership and theirs.
