We have 3 services Bunkering, Logistics, Ship Agency. We own 2 tanker vessels that directly buys fuel and diesel in Aramco which we are selling to customers.

Alkhilam does the website and ERPNext customization for us. We let them develop the Bunkering and Logistics module .

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We have a local vendor in Saudi that sells ERPNext and same vendor contracted Alkhilam to do the customization of our Bunkering and Logistics Modules.

For the website, we gave Alkhilam the required documents needed and connects through online meeting to discuss the details and our requirements. We gave them idea on our expected result and they provided us a better one. For the ERPNext project, we provided them the documents for our Logistics and Bunkering modules. We communicated through online meeting to discuss the process flow and its related documents. The final products helps us centralize the creation of our Jobs and comply with the government e-invoicing requirements.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have launch our Logistics module in 3 months and has really helped us a lot in organizing and segregating per department related jobs but most especially complying to government e-invoicing requirements. For our Bunkering module, they got the project done at 50%. But Alkhalim did an excellent job in our ERPNext project and the website. It just that there were issues along the way which disturbs the timeline of the development of the module due to issues with our local vendor and eventually terminated Alkhilam's from finishing our project.

We mostly do WhatsApp messaging. We also do online meeting just to make sure that the modifications or new requirements are clearly understood. We always do follow-ups and even share screenshots or any means that will make it easy to understand.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Continuous online communication. They were easy to get in touch with whenever I had issues with the module. They know their jobs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

So far, I never had issues with them during the development as we were progressing smoothly. It was just unfortunate that we didn't get to let them finish our project, but if we have known them before and not through our local vendor, we could have finished our project sooner.

Due to we are using Frappe framework as our base for our sution, we have a few projects handled by Akhilam on this framework. As such, we are compatible with their professional support and experience on this framework.

They gain lot of experience, knowledge and skill set in the Frappe framework and ERPNext sulutions. They can almost asnwer or provide a solution whenever needed

The project management side could be more accurate in term of planning.

We had dicciculty in reordering and visializing the vast range of inventory we have, we wanted to have a custom dashboard and view made that would help us make sense of data and develop certain call to action flows.

Most importantly they understood what we were looking for then helped us build solutions around it. The team was patient and delivered on time as promised. They were accesible throughout the project and we are happy with how the implementation has happened
