Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We have worked with Airteam on three projects. Research and architect the new infrastructure for the RESEARCH Section of the University website. Conduct a number of staff and student, internal and external workshops to determine the best information architecture for this section of the site. Present an insights report at department and director level. Using matching Digital Team assets and software to generate the design files. 

With a major 18-month stream of work, investigate the current student experience, looking for positives and pain points, providing recommendations for improvements across a number of stages during a student’s study journey with the University. For each of the six “episodes”, conduct staff and student workshops, conducting both qualitative and quantitative research practices, working with the internal CX Team and University Taskforce. Coordinate workshops through living whiteboards to record the insights and recommendations. 

Generate and present and insights packs at department, division and senior stakeholder levels. Conduct qualitative research interviews with participants to review new designs of critical University web pages. Working with the internal CX Designers, create the interview scripts, conduct the interviews, edit the relevant video excerpts and provide recommendations for improving the page designs. Generate and present an insights pack for department and director level.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• In order of the three projects: Restructured RESEARCH IA has will reduce navigation confusion, and improve the user experience. Student experience across on and offline has seen a number of improvements, with enhancements to our information, communications and general digital user experience n recommended pages and function. Testing on the new page designs and functions will ensure the user experience and presentation of information will enhance the performance and appearance on the website.

Professional, courteous, flexible and exceptional collaborative. Airteam work very closely with our internal teams, align with our HCD Process and managed their deadlines to suit our project schedules and responded readily with any left-field requests.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Airteam had an extremely seamless way of conducting their research online. The pandemic took away the ability to conduct workshops face-to-face and this did not phase their team. Utilising digital means, they conducted their research and workshops and generated the insights and recommendations we needed to progress with our projects.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Airteam could have done differently?

Now that COVID is dissipating, I’d love to work more closely with the teams in person, but will still engage them in future even if the relationship remains in a virtual capacity.

The primary project outcomes included the development of a top-tier, responsive, and dependable website, along with an online booking widget. 

This widget necessitated seamless integration with both a third-party Practice Management System and a Microsoft Dynamics instance for the launch of a completely new business. 

Subsequently, the online booking widget was repurposed and implemented in two additional businesses with pre-existing websites.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Delivery of a high-quality, responsive, and reliable website. Additionally, the successful integration of an online booking widget with a third-party Practice Management System and a Microsoft Dynamics instance for the initiation of a new business serves as a concrete achievement. 

Notably, the online booking widget was effectively repurposed and incorporated into two existing businesses' websites, showcasing the tangible expansion of the project's impact and usability.
