We contracted a developer to help manage our stack of client websites, company owned properties, proprietary plugins, and tools built off the WordPress platform. Our contract developer maintains all plugins and website updates, provides help with feature requests/website upgrades as needed, and also ensures all sites stay backed up and operational. We also have a marketing assistant who helps with various marketing tasks.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have seen a notable improvement in development project timelines and feature requests. We've also been able to re-task senior staff away from basic WordPress/WooCommerce site management work, allowing us to increase revenue in other areas.

Aipxperts was very willing to drop into our existing stack of tools - we use our company Google workspace and Basecamp for everything. Our contractors are using the same tools as everyone else and communicating in these same platforms.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

In years gone by we have hired contractors overseas, and generally been disappointed in the value they bring. The costs also seem low, but when you compare the cost to the productivity it was not a good fit. This company charges more than some other contract development providers, but offers good quality people who work quickly.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We have no complaints. If we had to nitpick, it would be that paying invoices is not something we can automate like other vendors.

I first found them on Elance (now called upwork). We had a great communications, they fully understood my goals and desires with the app. They also spoke great english and met my price concerns.

I think they used SWIFT to code the app. I was asked to create a rough wireframe of my idea and send that to them so as they could fully understand my design goals. They were fast and reliable when turning around a working MVP for testing.

I believe there were 3 people who worked with me. One engineer and 2 C level roles.

Since launching the app back in 2011, the app has been downloaded over 10 million times. Has on average 80k MAU and has been updated by the same team dozens of times over the years to keep the app current with style and all of my many request for feature additions.

In the beginning of our relationship, all communication was done via email with the top C level connections I have. Now the majority of our correspondence is done over Skype directly with the engineering team.

They always have a way to solve whatever problem I ask of them. I have had the opportunity to build many apps with the help of AIPXPERTS. And I hope to build many more in the future.

We searched on various outsourcing platforms such as Upwork, interviewed more than 10 agencies and decided on Aipxperts as their work history is fantastic and their communication clear and precise. Their costing was also reasonable.

The project involves creating an ecommerce portal on the iOS and Android platform for a direct selling company. The users are customers and agent representatives of the company.

Customers can use the app to experience a seamless shopping experience and the agents can use the app to recruit customers and track their sales performance. There is also an admin panel for the company to monitor all activities and generate reports on sales figures and agent performance.

A project manager was assigned to me and 3 more developers worked on the project - iOS, Android and Web developers.

The project was launched successfully within the agreed timeline. The work was good with minimal bugs and the client launched the platform smoothly and succesfully.

Our communication was done primarily on Skype. We have regular meetings to provide updates and video calls to ensure the deliverables are understood and followed.

Their customer service and client servicing standards were excellent. Their QA team was meticulous and the deliverables were on time and with minimal bugs.

No crucial hiccups occurred and the projects was handled amicably.

Our goal for the project was to do a total rewrite of the app in a modern way that would easy for us to maintain in the coming years.

We assessed different vendors to deliver a good solution end to end for both Android and IOS and they came on top with good quality of work and proposal.

Each project lasts a few months, then they provide continued support after they deliver the final product.

Most recently, they helped us with a teacher evaluation app for school principals. That app includes survey features, data collection, and a mechanism to push those evaluations back to teachers. That app was built for both iOS and Android. Aside from their work on that app, they also help with web work and maintenance.

The app launched a few months ago, and user feedback is very positive so far. We're still working out the exact business model, but it has hit all our requirements and is performing well from a financial standpoint.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Aipxperts Technolabs Private Limited helped us develop a receipt tracking application for iOS and Android devices. They were responsible for the entire build, and they continue to provide support and make any updates as necessary. With the app, users can track their expenses using integrated optical character recognition (OCR) software. They take a picture of a receipt, and the image is stored in the cloud. We offer different levels of membership for the service.

For the bulk of the work, project managers led a team of developers. I’m not sure, but I think there were four resources in total.

We started working on the application in 2015, and it’s an ongoing relationship.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’m very happy with the finished product. There are minimal bugs or crashes, and if they do happen, only one or two users are affected. We have 50,000 users in total, so a few issues aren’t a big deal.

They’ve been excellent and extremely organized. Their team showed us how to use Asana, which streamlined our coordination, communication, and documentation efforts.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m impressed by their work ethic. They’re always available, even during off hours. The time difference is significant, but I never have any trouble getting in touch with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could be a bit more detail-oriented. Sometimes, there are a few careless mistakes or issues that we have to bring to their attention. With that said, as soon as we speak with them they solve the problem. They should assign a resource to focus more on beta testing, so we don’t have to spend hours doing it on our end.

While I built the Android version of the mobile app myself, I was looking for additional engineering staff to help build the iOS version and add features to both platforms on an ongoing basis.

I initially provided Aipxperts with the requirements of the platform and they developed the iOS version of the app in React Native. As the business grew, they've collaborated with me to add new features and made fixes as needed on both the iOS and Android platforms. They also assist me with any development needed for the complementary web application built on Angular and Node.js.

Thanks to Aipxperts' efforts, we've been able to achieve more rapid growth. Their work has been very high quality and received positive feedback. They've also been able to quickly address and catch most bugs on their end as needed.

In addition to their creative input, they've been very flexible and receptive to my feedback. We generally track projects through Asana and stay in touch through WhatsApp and Skype.

In addition to being very responsive, they're also creative and able to clearly communicate their ideas. They've been quick to turn around tasks and provide valuable insight beyond what's merely asked of them.

No. Anything I've asked them to change, they've been receptive to. I've never had to ask them twice to improve something.

I highly recommend using visual representations to communicate ideas and details of certain tasks, even if that means drawing rough sketches and sending them a picture.

After agreeing on how to build the project, we would work up final requirement and wireframes. The Aipxperts Technolabs team is far more skilled than we are, so they’ve given a lot of suggestions.

For one client, they created a platform as well as iOS and Android applications that allow the manager to track employees. It was a complicated project that involved a lot of stages and planning.
