Our primary objective was to replace our outdated digital presence with a modern, user-friendly platform that aligned with our commitment to exceptional service. We wanted to streamline customer interactions, reduce the workload on our Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), and create a seamless booking and service management process integrated with our CRM system, ServiceTitan. We also sought to establish a dynamic content strategy that positioned us as the go-to resource in our industry.

As a subcontracted partner, Aclarify worked closely with our team at Marx Fertik for Fortis, a leading biotech and life sciences client, to deliver a user-centered redesign of key site pages showcasing Fortis's molecular reagents and custom services. Fortis needed their complex product offerings presented in a way that would be approachable to scientists and researchers, while conveying the depth of their capabilities. Aclarify was tasked with creating an intuitive user experience that balanced scientific detail with accessible, brand-aligned design.

The new UX has made product exploration far simpler, with users commenting on the ease of navigating through product categories and quickly finding relevant data. The automated tooling has also allowed Fortis to make updates seamlessly, keeping the design fresh and engaging with minimal effort.

Although this in no way diminished the quality of our project, having an additional marketing resource could have streamlined our collaborative efforts even further, eliminating the need for external subcontractor hiring. It's a testament to Aclarify's quality of service that having even more of their skilled professionals available would be the only enhancement we could wish for.

Aclarify and its founders made invaluable contributions to the LaFabrica platform, including the recruitment and onboarding of 370 developers, the development of a flexible and scalable API utilizing NestJS for member management, email, Slack, and CRM integrations, the creation of a branded marketing site using NextJS, and the expansion of the UI dashboard with advanced data visualization, management, and analytics capabilities.

Our team executed a successful launch of the MVP within a matter of weeks, which was immediately met with tremendous interest, resulting in over 150 signups just a short time later. As we continued to refine the marketing site, platform web application, and member-driven Discord community, we saw consistent growth in membership, further solidifying our platform's success.

Aclarify partnered with us in a seamless and efficient manner, utilizing an Agile sprint-based workflow that allowed for consistent progress and collaboration. Through periodic standup meetings, detailed sprint planning sessions, insightful retrospectives, and efficient tracking via Jira, we maintained seamless and effective communication throughout the project.

Very well organized and on schedule. JIRA processes put in place and scoping and ticketing was handled professionally.

Great implementation of proper backend architecture. Putting the pieces in place to reduce tech debt in the future.

All expectations were met, sometimes when launching a new product there is a fine balance that must be met between being agile/fast to production and building for more scale. Aclarify handled this well, but at times we could leverage more tech debt to move to market faster.
