The design was provided in the form of a .AI file and Acclaim went to work providing daily updates on the progress of the project and asking any questions that came up.

I am a Product Designer at Int4, a company that automates testing in SAP systems. I was responsible for designing the user experience and user interface of the new website. At the development stage I was accountable for coordinating the project activities from our side and giving feedback.

Acclaim was responsible for fully developing and launching our new website based on Sketch files that we provided. They've created a full range of components enabling us to complete and create new content in the future.

The new website had to be mobile-friendly to better present our offer and services on every device. We put great emphasis on a better experience while reading blogs and our case studies. We also wanted to accurately reproduce the design and interactions consistent with our brand.

How did you select Acclaim and what were the deciding factors?

We did the research based on the online ranking. Then we picked 3 companies, Acclaim proved to be the most suitable choice for our needs. Also the style in which their previous projects were executed matched ours. Price to quality ratio helped us to choose this contractor.

Acclaim has converted the Sketch design we have sent to a fully working WordPress website using their own framework (custom WordPress theme). It's based on the Webpack so each subpage has a dedicated bundle of scripts and styles.

Thanks to that our new website works and loads ultra fast. Moreover the entire admin panel is based on the Custom Gutenberg blocks, so editing existing subpages or creating new ones is very quick and simple.

Two developers and a QA tester worked on the project. Daniel Gładysz was the Development Team Leader, we were in constant contact with every member of the team with Dawid at the head.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Thanks to new functionalities and a complete content set, we can now better communicate our offer. Our company has been completely rebranded and the new website has become a complement to it. We are now much more modern and it is easier for us to compete in our field.

Project was completed on time. We were able to see the progress, and every day the team provided us with a development update. Communication was at a high level, Acclaim was responding to our questions quickly and clearly.

Attention to detail and faithful representation of the project. Very good communication and personal approach. Acclaim suggested the best solutions to achieve the goals set.

I don’t see any areas for improvement, that’s why we want to continue our collaboration.

We work with a multitude of clients on SEO and web development. During a really busy period in our company, we were stretched beyond our capacity and we wanted to delegate the development of a website to a reliable 3rd party web dev agency.

We’ve been looking for a reliable partner to delegate web development projects for quite a long period before stumbling on Acclaim. So, we decided to have stringent requirements for the type of company we’ll get in touch with.

After creating a shortlist of companies with relevant experience, great teams, and competitive prices, we decided to contact each one and have a phone interview with them. The team at Acclaim impressed us the most, and that’s how we selected them for the project.

The project was fairly complex: to develop an SEO-friendly multilingual website and mitigate the content from our client’s old website to the new one. We needed the website to be able to easily support multiple languages and have the ability to add additional languages whenever we wished.

We also wanted the migration from the old website to be successful and doesn’t lose revenue and traffic as the new site gets up and running. We worked side by side with Acclaim: they provided the web development expertise and we took care of SEO ensuring the client retains Domain Authority and organic traffic.

Due to the fact, our teams had to work together for the duration of the project, we had constant contact. Dawid Stasiak, the CEO, and founder of Acclaim was in close touch with us during the entire project and made sure everything was going smoothly.

A few of their web developers working in tandem with our SEO specialists got the bulk of the project done.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The new site is up and running, and our client is really happy with the results. It is still too early to tell how much of the traffic has carried over, but the early signs are promising, and our client isn’t seeing a decrease in revenues.

So, I think the project has been a tremendous success, and it is one of the main reasons why I’m taking the time out of my busy schedule to write this review. It is because I think the Acclaim team deserves it.

I think our teams jived well together. Due to the fact we were often working on the same part of the project together, we were in constant collaboration and contact, and this made us synchronize better and learn the modus operandi of each other.

Misunderstandings were minimal, and the Acclaim team was really helpful whenever we asked about something or suggested a different approach.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

There were many impressive things about Acclaim, but if I had to pick only one, I’d say their depth of expertise in web development. The CEO of the company is deeply familiar with the sector, and he’s handpicked a knowledgeable team of web developers.

So, whenever we weren’t sure about something or had a question, they’d provide detailed responses in a short period. It helped move the project along and ensure our client got everything they wanted.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Honestly, I can’t think of anything on top of my head right now. Our teams needed a little bit of time to synchronize, but, after they did, the work moved quickly and professionally, and both our client and we are happy with the result.

I needed a quick development of my personal portfolio website paying particular attention to pixel-perfection, animation, simplicity of interaction.

What were your goals for this project?

The website needed to be responsive and accessible in various browsers. I also needed the development to be completed in less than 1 month.

The deciding factors that led to choosing this agency to help me develop my site were some great reviews (from other people). After enquiring about the service (my website development) the company had a very personal approach toward me: they were friendly, welcoming and professional.

Before the project officially started I provided the agency with a Sketch file, links to some UI animation ideas, and a link to InVision prototype. For collaboration, the team then set up the project in their tool - this really helped us communicate better (everyone who worked on this website was involved). The website's development did not require many features. I cared about simplicity, subtle animation, pixel-perfection.

What was the team composition?

I was in contact with the development team. The size of the team remained the same throughout a whole project.

The website was developed and launched early. Project completion helped me move with my career development sooner (the website was the first thing my potential employers saw).

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was transparent and quick. Their team was regularly updating each thing that needed marking as 'done'. We communicated via the team's Teamwork app and sometimes via emails.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I never questioned where the project is, and when it's expected to end. Everything was transparent, communication was clear and ongoing. If needed, I could get a direct access to their manager. I loved their personal approach to their client.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There is not much that I can suggest they could improve. My only suggestion would be for the team to make sure the project that is being handed off for development is completed - so there are no extra payments needed from the client later.

Osano is an early stage startup in the data privacy space. I am the CEO and ran point for our website launch.

For what projects/services did your company hire Acclaim?

We have an awesome designer who created our website in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe XD. We needed a team who could take those designs and turn them into properly coded responsive HTML and CSS. The site was quite complex (25+ pages) with complicated graphics that required technical skill to implement in HTML/CSS. Acclaim was tasked with converting all designs into a functioning responsive Bootstrap 4 site.

What were your goals for this project?

Responsive, Bootstrap 4, jQuery were all required due to our hosting platform. We had a tight deadline and needed the entire project completed in under 60 days. We required a highly perfomant site with all graphics optimized for modern browsers and which would give us a 90+ Lighthouse score in Google Audits for performance.

We interviewed multiple vendors. Acclaim had availability, the price was reasonable, and they had previously done work for a friend's company so we felt confident in their abilities before meeting them.

We provided full designs and access to Adobe XD. Their team took those designs along with our specific requirements for integration with HubSpot and turned them into a functioning website template.

I'm unsure of the team composition. I worked primarily with Dawid, he was responsive and provided us with a single point of contact for all conversations.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The project was completed on time, under budget, and the quality of the work was excellent. Communication was easy and the team was responsive to minor changes and additions that came up mid-project.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was done primarily through email. It was effective and Dawid provided us with regular updates.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their ability to synthesize our business goals into the website was Acclaim’s most impressive skill.There were virtually no coding decisions made that did not align with our goals. They really took a good holistic approch to our project.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I would recommend using a project management tool of some kind to provide more visibility into remaining tasks and timelines. Although Acclaim delivered in time and with high quality, there were times where I wished I had visibility into the details of each phase of the project.
