Absolute Search Media provides ongoing SEO, PPC, and social media services for reputed EdTech company. The team handles paid search, paid social, creatives, email marketing, social media, and web dev.

For what projects/services did your company hire Absolute Search Media, and what were your goals?

We hired Absolute Search Media to manage the PPC efforts of an Edtech company of ours, the main goal was to grow the business through PPC activities and offer a seamless, hands-off solution to doing so. Also, scale up more exponentially and expand sales, as well as build more brand recognition and awareness.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

As mentioned, we were already had a small in-house team and we were running our business operation smoothly. Our CEO has different reliable contacts and referrals within some close business groups and partners, and since we don't want to expand the marketing team and thus, we come up with the recommendations only if they find success working with the company. ASM is one of those that got recommended. Goals have been defined clearly and onboarding has been smooth as well, besides actual deliverables, organized project management, and groundwork/expectation set up are essential for small businesses like us.

As promised, they managed our brands for us for Google ads and Conversion Rate Optimization/Landing Page testing. Onboarding was smooth and expectations has been set early on. The advertising plan, budget, and ROAS goals are aligned and delivered - we did have some challenges scaling up but it's still early on the account, therefore we aligned that ROAS is still the major goal to keep up, and it has been well maintained so that we can stay on the profitable side on this ad platform. They were constantly in touch with updates and adjustments, and were always open to better ideas. Their primary tool of communication and project management was Asana, updated daily and with weekly meetings. It's important to note that while we meet monthly, they are open to meeting as often or as little as we want.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The most impressive component of Absolute Search Media is the team's knowledge and experience across all staff members. Each person we worked with seemed to have a good understanding of all areas of digital marketing while specializing in select areas. Typically, I work with three people from Absolute Search Media, including the Director of Agency Development, our Account Manager, and the Director of eCommerce

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our top goal for any campaign that we run is always to ensure that our return on ad spends is sufficient enough (for us, at least a 3.0) to justify the expenditure. It was a long-term goal, but Absolute Search Media has been able to help us achieve that goal this year. Because we measure results on at least a monthly basis, they're able to test for a sufficient period of time but not long enough to do any financial harm if the campaign doesn't succeed, and then adjust as needed.

This speed has allowed us to take small but measured steps toward our goal, which we've now surpassed. As a result, our ad spend has a 74% increase while ROAS has a 60% improvement - as much as we would love to grow even quicker, this is probably a healthier and steady growth for our platform.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Weekly meetings have been precise and on point, and updates are being tracked on Asana. We recently also set up Slack so communications should even be more effective and instant when needed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Goals achievement. We are quite happy with the results so far. On top of that, they do go beyond the scope at times and give us suggestions on other aspects that helps with marketing and sales overall.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I hope there would be support on Feed management - this can probably improve ads performance even more with closer monitoring and optimization, but I understand ASM has been expanding their service constantly, so hopefully, this will be something we can look forward to after the busy holiday season.

Absolute Search Media has redesigned the website for our company. Since our industry is so niche, we’ve collaborated with Absolute Search Media to conduct keyword research, and they’ve taken over our Google Ads, SEO, and PPC campaigns. We’ve recently engaged the team to redesign other websites for our corporate entities, which they’ve started working on.

There was a total of 5-6 people involved in this project and the team redesigned our websites for our corporate entities, which they’ve started working on. And they’ve taken over our Google Ads, SEO, and PPC campaigns.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Absolute Search Media has redesigned our website, giving it a more modern and updated feel. We’ve reviewed impressions, ad clicks, and brand awareness to determine success and feel that Absolute Search Media has implemented effective digital marketing campaigns.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Absolute Search Media has managed the project well and primarily communicated via email. The team has consistently responded to my questions and has been willing to jump on phone calls as needed. Our current project has many complexities, and Absolute Search Media has done its best to communicate updates with stakeholders.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I’ve been most impressed by their willingness to break down the digital marketing process for me. Absolute Search Media has held my hand through each campaign, and they’ve been great teachers.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I have nothing Absolute Search Media could improve on. I advise asking questions when you have them. Absolute Search Media will gladly take the reins and manage your digital marketing campaigns, but they won’t hesitate to share best practices and guide you through the process if you ask.
