What challenge were you trying to address with Absolute Mobile Solutions?

Our old website was outdated, and our brand was not representative of our present business. We were trying to rebrand through social media and a new corporate website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Absolute updated our site’s UX/UI to be more interactive. They helped upload more project photos and kept them updated. Their team created recruitment features and organized content to highlight company news and listings. They also developed a Citrix environment, a virtual workspace for our platform to be accessible anywhere.

As part of our rebranding, they developed several color schemes and design options for us to review. Using our feedback, they created a logo and trained us through a logo usage guide.

Their team currently acts as a media consultant and manages our Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google Plus accounts to advertise our recruitment. They also maintain our website, GoDaddy account, and curate content updates to keep us up to date on with the latest technology.

We work with their president, a project manager, and graphic artist. They also have a team of developers working in the background.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested $10,000–$25,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in August 2014 and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They work with us well and we constantly rely on their expertise in the latest industry trends. Our updated website is bug-free and never crashes. The site garners a significant number of recruitment responses and we are hiring new, younger employees.

How did Absolute Mobile Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They are always receptive to feedback and set up meetings to keep the project moving. They are very responsive and reply immediately to all our questions. We communicate through some in-person meetings, but mostly through phone and e-mail.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Absolute takes the time to understand our industry and produce quality results. They keep us updated on the project’s progress and respond quickly to requests.

I'm the interactive marketing manager at Pepin, a distributing company that sells and markets beer. We're an Anheuser-Busch and Constellation Brands wholesaler and also distribute over 40 craft breweries.

What challenges were you trying to address with Absolute Mobile Solutions?

Our company needed to hire a vendor for support with our web design and digital marketing. Specifically, we were focused on consumer-facing sponsorship campaigns to drive event attendance and improve our rankings.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Absolute Mobile Solutions redid our website, www.pepindistributing.com, as well as www.tpepinshospitalitycentre.com, which is for our events venue. They also helped us build some microsites and content hubs for sports-related events, such as the Tampa Bay Lightning and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

We wanted our site to be mobile responsive, customer friendly, dynamic, and visually appealing. We had plans in mind for the new look and feel we wanted, and showed them examples of the type of screens we liked. While they didn't assist with marketing in the traditional sense, they built sites that were consumer facing. We came up with different activation ideas together; I’d sit down and brainstorm, and they’d develop that content.

How did you come to work with Absolute Mobile Solutions?

I had seen Alfred Goldberg, the owner of Absolute Mobile Solutions, give a presentation when I was in college about seven years ago. When I had this new project in mind, I reached out to him to inquire about working together.

How much have you invested with them?

All the work we've done together over the last two years cost between $70,000-$80,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together two years ago, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We definitely have a higher ranking on our events and SEO. We've also seen higher engagement and traffic to our website. Our users have expressed that they like the new site much better. We've even received compliments on our site from other distributors. We send Absolute Mobile Solutions some new clients, as well.

How did Absolute Mobile Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They did an excellent job and were very responsive to any questions we had. All the work was done on time, within budget, and without any critical defects. We mainly communicated via email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team’s flexibility and open-mindedness are their greatest strengths.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They haven't done much graphic design for us, so that's something that they could potentially invest in more.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

The only advice I have is to not hold back because Absolute Mobile Strategies is very open-minded. They’re always willing to take on a variety of new projects.

I work in the marketing and operations department of a restaurant.

We needed a reliable company to manage digital marketing for us. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

When I joined the company, nothing was being monitored in the digital space, so they helped us get everything under control. Initially, they were replying to customer comments and complaints, supporting us on a daily basis. Later, they started doing digital marketing, graphic design, and creating promos for us. They also redesigned our website, managing all the programming and coding. 

They oversee our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Yelp pages, usually, creating content from scratch. They also do graphics for our special deals, which we can post on social media or put in our restaurants.

What is the team composition? 

We work with 5–6 of their team members: the owner of the company, our account manager, graphic designers, and other people, depending on the needs of the project.

How did you come to work with them?

They were recommended to us by our other vendor who knew them. After we met with them, we decided they would be a good fit for us.

We spent about $30,000.

What is the status of this engagement? 

We started working together in August 2016 and the relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They put their heart and soul into everything they do for us. Since they've taken over our social media channels, we've seen an increase in user engagement: more people are following our pages and the number of comments is on the rise.

How did they perform from a project management standpoint?

They're very responsive to feedback. Staying within our budget, they do high-quality work and complete everything on time. We communicate via email, phone, text, or have in-person meetings. They seem to be always working – I get emails and texts from them late at night if they have an issue with a customer and need advice on how to fix it.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They've done a lot of impressive, creative work for us – producing new content and promoting holiday specials.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything off the top of my head.

Trust them – sometimes they have wild ideas, but they work.
