5Hz delivered a great e-commerce website that allowed us to connect with our customers. Since launching the site, we’ve made 300 sales in one month and gathered information about 300 customers. Using the CRM system, we now have data on our customers and are engaging them in our work process.

We’ve noticed a significant increase in applications from the website, as well as an improvement in the positioning of our website. Compared to 2024, we’ve more than doubled the number of applications. Regarding positioning, we’ve increased from the 20th position to the top three or top 10 in some cases.

5Hz was engaged to expand our DeFi platform with two critical features: an AMM-based liquidity pool system and a staking/rewards module. The project spanned 9 months and involved both smart contract development and backend infrastructure. 
Phase 1 - AMM Liquidity Pool Development: 5Hz developed a complete automated market maker solution allowing users to provide liquidity, execute token swaps, and earn trading fees. This included implementing the constant product formula (x*y=k), slippage protection, and liquidity provider (LP) token minting/burning mechanisms. They integrated price oracle feeds to ensure accurate pricing and prevent manipulation. 
Phase 2 - Staking & Rewards Module: They built a staking system where users can lock tokens to earn rewards. This included implementing time-locked staking periods, reward calculation algorithms based on staking duration and pool size, automated reward distribution, and early withdrawal penalty mechanisms. 
Phase 3 - Backend Infrastructure: 5Hz architected a microservices-based backend to support these features, including transaction processing services, blockchain event indexers, and real-time data aggregation. They developed RESTful APIs and WebSocket endpoints for frontend integration, ensuring low-latency user interactions.

Overall, 5Hz demonstrated strong project management capabilities, though we experienced some initial challenges that are common in complex blockchain projects.

5Hz assigned a dedicated project manager who provided weekly progress updates and maintained open communication channels. At the project's outset, we had some difficulty aligning on the technical approach for the AMM implementation. Our internal team preferred one architectural pattern while 5Hz advocated for a different solution based on their experience. It took 2-3 weeks of discussions and technical evaluations before we reached a consensus. While this extended the kickoff phase, the collaborative debate ultimately led to a better solution that incorporated both perspectives. Most milestones were delivered on time, though we experienced occasional delays, typically 3-5 days. the best part was when we requested changes to the staking reward calculation logic mid-project based on community feedback, 5Hz adapted quickly and incorporated the changes without significant pushback.

Their deep DeFi expertise and flexibility. 5Hz developers brought real-world protocol knowledge that improved our original design, and when requirements changed mid-project, they adapted seamlessly.

The initial planning phase could have been smoother. It would have been helpful if 5Hz had conducted a more thorough discovery session upfront to fully understand our existing architecture and technical preferences before proposing their approach. This would have shortened the 2-3 week alignment period we experienced at the start.

Additionally, while their communication was generally good, there were a few instances where we only learned about minor delays or blockers during our scheduled check-ins rather than proactively. Earlier heads-up on potential issues—even small ones—would have helped us adjust our internal planning.
