We created a suite of entertainment sites with universal access for our customers across all platforms. All sites are managed from a central CMS with full custom features.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Zero IT was chosen from a long list of global competitors based on their reputation for delivering on time, on budget and with a 24/7 response team accessible to us.

In depth discussions were had over scheduled dates to ensure all deliverables were set out from the start of the project. Zero IT assigned a dedicated PM to ensure all requirements were met with, and all iterations were swiftly delivered.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Their full team was on board with us from the start including PM, designers and dev team.

We increased our customer base by 10% within the first week of launch.

Their rotation of time schedules to meet the needs of our team are truly appreciated. Zero IT ensures they listen to their customer's needs before making assessments and delivering on those needs.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

24/7 access. This is key due to our time zone difference. Flexible payment options.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

All issues were managed in a timely fashion. IT work is an ongoing evolution and Zero IT is well equipped to manage this style of work.

I’m the president and owner of a mobile prediction game company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Zero IT Solutions?

I hired Zero IT Solutions to develop my entire app; they worked to turn my vision into an app. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I’ve given Zero IT Solutions some drawings on a piece of paper, and then we’ve worked on developing the app from there. 

In terms of app features and functionality, it takes soccer scores while users get points based on their score predictions. The player with the most points wins the game. The team has had to integrate an API to pull scores and other information from the backend and present them on the frontend. They’ve also used other technologies such as PHP, React, and Laravel. 

At present, we’re still working with Zero IT Solutions because we have new games every week and the app needs maintenance. I’m currently planning to start marketing the app to attract more players. We have 594 players now, and we’ve acquired 400 of them in just the last three months. 

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with a big team. We’ve started with three members, and after 3–4 years, their team has grown to 5–6 members, including Android, iOS, and website developers. 

How did you come to work with Zero IT Solutions?

Zero IT Solutions was the third company I selected for this project. When I was first searching for a team, I went to Upwork and hired a freelancer. That freelancer started the job, but I then gave it to someone else. I wasn’t happy with the second developer, so I reached out to Zero IT Solutions and gave them the project. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $20,000–$25,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2018, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The app is live, and it’s working well. I’ve also gotten feedback from end users, who say the app is fun and exciting. People are enjoying it because they can get more involved in it; they look forward to seeing what points they get.

How did Zero IT Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

I’m quite satisfied with their work. They’ve been responsive to me, and Rahul (Managing Director) is always there for me 24 hours a day. Whenever I have a question, he responds quickly. That’s the reason I’ve stayed with Zero IT Solutions for so long — they go above and beyond to make sure the project is done. To communicate, we use emails and WhatsApp. We’ve also done a ton of Skype meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Zero IT Solutions takes responsibility for my dream and project. They make it work and respect what I’m trying to do. On top of that, they’re always willing to go above and beyond to make it work in the best way possible. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

The start of the project has been a bit rocky since they didn’t seem to understand my vision and goals fully. As a result, the initial stages took longer than I would have liked. I’ve pushed them to try to finish the app faster, and they should have been more realistic with delivery times., 

In other words, they’ve been a little off in terms of timelines. To be fair, I understand the amount of work that’s needed for this to be done. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have a clear idea of what you want to do. Plan the steps and divide them into phases. Don’t jump into phase three and go back to phase one.
