I’m the general secretary of All India Punjab National Bank Officers' Association (AIPNBOA).

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Zadon Technologies?

At the time, we needed resources to develop a website and a mobile app that would facilitate interactions with our members. We’d been trying to connect with a good provider since last year, but vendors were either asking for too much money or didn’t have quality work in their portfolio.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Zadon Technology developed a web API using ASP.NET and AngularJS on the frontend. They also used the Ionic framework for the mobile application. The app allows us to share monthly association circulars, images of recent meetings, and internal rules. Our members can also send and receive messages through the app.

What is the team composition?

We worked with six people from Zadon, including their CTO and business manager.

How did you come to work with Zadon Technologies?

One of our managers is friends with Zadon’s owner and suggested that we inquire about their services.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $13,000 on this project.

What is the status of this engagement?

Their work lasted from April–May 2018. They’ve completed the first milestone of our project, and we've since launched the app. All of our services are now live. We plan to go to them for any upgrades.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We were satisfied with Zadon’s quality work and timely delivery. Before, we had a website that was hard to update and had to pay our vendor for any site work. Now, we have a dynamic application that allows us to change anything from our own office.

We used to send out our circulars as physical letters by post. After the application was launched, it became easy to communicate with our members directly.

How did Zadon Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

They managed the project well. They physically came to our office twice and gave us ideas on how we could improve our prototype. We mostly communicate via phone, but we’ve also used email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re focused on doing quality work with unique technologies. We’re happy with how innovative they are and are generally impressed with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they need to change.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

It’s best to have meetings to discuss the project brief. Zadon’s management team will tell the client which platforms and ideas are best suited for the app.

We needed help with web and app development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They understood our description right away and started developing our website and mobile application. They used ASP.NET MVC for the backend and created an API. The mobile application and website were developed with Angular, and the site also used Node.js.

The mobile applications are only for companies to get inquiries, and the portal helps companies get customers. The website and applications were completed in March 2018. They’ll also be developing a mobile application for customers in a couple of months.

How did you come to work with Zadon Technology?

We found them through online research. They have very good clients in the U.S., and we also found some of their clients in India. We checked out their recent projects and the work was fantastic.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $6,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since December 2017.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Companies have given good reviews for the mobile app in the Google Play Store. Our website is fast and perfect.

How did Zadon Technology perform from a project management standpoint?

They set the projects up in different work flows, and in every work flow, they assigned tasks. We communicated via virtual support and phones.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They deliver quality work on time.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We’re very happy to be working with them. We recommend them to other customers.

Be clear on what you want and document it before starting, so that you will get the finished product on time.
