Yummygum successfully completed a comprehensive and complex project for our first-ever national summer reading challenge, all within an incredibly tight turnaround time. This high-profile campaign was launched in partnership with a major and well-respected company, aimed at inspiring students to read more.

Yummygum's scope of work included designing and developing a high-impact landing page to market the challenge. This page served as an engaging and informative portal for participants, offering an overview of the challenge, its benefits, and how to join. It effectively captured user interest with visually appealing and interactive elements, enhancing user engagement and driving sign-ups.

Additionally, Yummygum developed a standalone web application for users to log and track their reading progress. The webapp supported both digital and paper book entries, included dynamic progress tracking, and offered a family dashboard for managing profiles. They also created an internal admin dashboard for monitoring participation, reading data, and prize distribution.

The admin dashboard was secure and allowed for easy data export. Key deliverables included the fully functional landing page, user-friendly webapp, and comprehensive admin dashboard.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• Participant Enrollment: The number of participants who signed up for the summer reading challenge exceeded our initial projections, indicating strong interest and uptake among our target audience.
• Reading Progress and Participation: Through the web application's tracking capabilities, we were able to monitor reading progress and participation rates throughout the duration of the challenge. This included tracking the number of minutes read, number of books completed, and active user engagement. We hit more than 100,000 minutes read in the first week alone! 
• Partner Satisfaction: Our strategic partner expressed high satisfaction with the developed solutions, emphasizing the alignment with their brand values and the effectiveness in driving engagement and participation among participants. Their positive feedback underscores the successful collaboration and achievement of shared goals.

With the success of this first campaign, we're excited to iterate and further build-out the webapp with the Yummygum team for future initiatives!

These files were comprehensive and included everything from the overarching color palette and typography to the specific UI elements and layout configurations.

The redesign of Spider Impact by Yummygum led to several measurable outcomes that highlight the project's success and progress. Although the redesign is still in beta testing, we're seeing a significant improvement in user engagement metrics. Post-redesign, users are finding what they need faster, and anecdotally, the new UI is more appealing and easier to navigate. Additionally, the feedback from our users was overwhelmingly positive. 
This feedback highlighted specific elements like the cleaner layout and intuitive navigation, which were direct results of the redesign. Another key outcome was the reduction in onboarding user support requests, which is dropping based on our initial measurements. This decrease suggests that the new design made it easier for users to understand and use Spider Impact without needing additional help, thereby enhancing overall user independence and satisfaction.

Design a beautiful and easy to use interface that allows hotels to increase their direct bookings based on the latest technology available. The first deliverable was a wireframe which covered user experience and information hierarchy. The second deliverable was a visual design system and style guidelines The thid deliverable was a fully formed and beautiful user interface The fourth deliverable was an interactive prototype for testing and making improvements After the sucessful conclusion of the project we had several ad-hoc follow-up deliverables.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project was one of the most succesful we've ever experienced. The UX and UI design were of the highest possible quality we could imagine. We were blown away with the designs and it fitted exactly our brief. As a result the completed product has had incredible market traction which we strongly attribute to the quality of the design. In addition, the project was delivered in record time based on sprints.
This was important as it allowed us to work on building the functionality as soon as possible. Communication was fast and frequent. After the project we have benefited from the flexibility of the team to add on features and help with particular challenges that emerged during the development process. This has enabled us to be agile in reacting to customer feedback and filling in feature gaps we had previously missed.

The project was very well managed, Yummygum uses special project management tools that enables us to see the status of projects. Moreover they give us a detailed breakdown of timelines and clear expectations on how to interact with the team. We especially liked the ability to have an in person meeting with the team which we felt allowed us to communicate the spirit behind the brief. We also appreciated the attentive and patient communication and project management coming from the Yummygum team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It is rare to find a team of people who are not only experts in what they do, but deeply care about what they are designing and craft something really special. This attribute was something we were missing when we began our search for a design partner, and is something we were happy with when partnering with Yummygum.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Yummygum could have done differently?

It is hard to find an area of improvement because we were so impressed with every aspect of the project. One thing I would like to keep doing in the future, when the opportunity presents for our next large project, is an in person meeting to give some context to the briefing.

We were super happy with all the work that Yummygum did: the website is beautiful, the brand book looks awesome and everything is so well constructed with a super clean code base. Also, the process and collaboration were great. It is a pleasure to work with such a professional team!
