The work covered:

• Authentication system – secure local and OAuth login, email verification, two-factor authentication, JWT session management, and role-based access control (RBAC) with granular admin permission sets.
• Task and offer aggregation engine – a dynamic offer aggregator that syncs from multiple external providers (surveys, app installs, video ads, CPA offers) via cron jobs, classifies offers by fit and onboarding eligibility, and surfaces the right offers to the right users.
• Provider postback and fraud pipeline – HTTP postback endpoints for multiple providers with HMAC signature verification, fraud scoring via VPNAPI, and a replay mechanism for processing stored postbacks.
• VIP and rewards system – XP-based progression with 5 VIP tiers, streak bonuses, achievement unlocks, and a separate affiliate VIP track with its own XP pool and commission rate escalation.
• Affiliate and referral system – full referral tracking with tier-based commission calculation, marketing asset generation, leaderboard rankings, and social sharing tools.
• Leaderboards – daily, weekly, and monthly competitive rankings with prize pools, podium displays, personal history tracking, and anti-gaming controls.
• Crypto withdrawal system – multi-currency cashout (BTC, ETH, USDT, BNB, SOL, XRP) with fee calculation, wallet validation, webhook-based payment provider integration, and withdrawal rate limiting.
• Notifications and real-time layer – persistent notification system with Socket.IO gateway, covering task credits, level-ups, referral events, streaks, and system announcements.
• Admin and operations tooling – RBAC admin panel covering user management, offer moderation, withdrawal approvals, fraud review, and audit logging. 

Tech stack: TypeScript, NestJS, Next.js / React, PostgreSQL with Prisma, Redis, Socket.IO, tRPC, Tailwind CSS. All major UI screens were completed. Database schemas, domain models, and spec documentation were produced across every feature area.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• The clearest outcome was that yual took us from product concept to a complete demo-ready platform.
• They designed and built the core product areas: authentication, task discovery, offer aggregation, affiliate system, leaderboards, VIP progression, crypto withdrawal flows, notifications, and admin tooling.
• All major user-facing screens were completed and functional with mock data, which allowed us to run early user testing and investor demos without major product gaps.
• The backend foundation was also in place, including database schemas, domain models, audit trails, transaction records, provider sync, postback processing, fraud review flows, and admin permissions.
• Since this was a greenfield build, we did not have clean before-and-after metrics. Success was measured by product readiness: yual helped us move from an idea to a working platform foundation with every major feature area covered.

Solid and low-friction. Questions got answered fast because the person replying was also the person building. Specs, decision summaries, and runbooks were consistently produced, which meant things didn't get lost between sessions.

What stood out was the depth of thinking that went into the architecture and product logic. This was not a team that simply built what was specified and moved on. They made thoughtful decisions around how RBAC should be structured, how offers should be classified, and how onboarding should guide users toward their first reward.

The documentation and spec culture were also strong. yual produced runbooks, feature specs, and operability guides that future developers could use to understand and extend the system. That is rare and genuinely valuable when building a product that is expected to scale.

yual built the full landing page from scratch. They used Nuxt 3 for server-side rendering which directly helped with SEO and initial load speed. Tailwind handled the responsive layout — the site works cleanly across mobile, tablet, and desktop without feeling like a compromise on any screen size. The part that stood out most was the Pixi.js integration — they added subtle animations and visual effects that gave the page a premium feel without hurting performance. They also handled image optimization and structured data markup. The final deliverable was a polished, fully responsive landing page with a high Lighthouse score across all categories.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Lighthouse performance scores came in strong across the board. Page load is fast, the mobile experience is smooth, and we've seen consistent organic traffic since launch — which tells us the SEO groundwork was solid. The feedback from people who visit the site is almost always about how it looks and feels, which was exactly the point.

The Pixi.js animations were something we hadn't seen done well on a site like ours before. It's easy to add animations that slow a page down or feel gimmicky. What yual did was the opposite — subtle, purposeful, and completely invisible in terms of performance cost. That balance of visual quality and technical discipline is hard to find.

yual handled end-to-end development of a cryptocurrency casino platform built on a microservices architecture. The platform name is confidential under NDA.

The work covered:

- Authentication and account system – secure registration and login flows, email verification, two-factor authentication, JWT session management, and role-based access control for admin and operator roles.

- Game aggregation layer – integrations with multiple third-party game providers, game management tooling for adding and updating titles, and a tournament system supporting weekly and monthly competitive events with prize pools.

- Payment processing – integrations with cryptocurrency payment systems (BTC, ETH, and major altcoins) and fiat processors, with real-time transaction handling, deposit and withdrawal flows, and account balance management.

- Marketing and analytics integrations – server-side connections to Google Analytics and Keitaro for traffic attribution and user behavior tracking, plus affiliate and referral system implementation.

- Real-time layer – Centrifugo-powered WebSocket infrastructure handling live reward collection, in-game notifications, balance updates, and real-time leaderboard data.

Platform launched and stable from day one – all core systems including authentication, game integrations, payment processing, rewards, and real-time infrastructure were live and holding up without critical production incidents.

6,000–9,500 daily unique visitors in the first months – traffic grew steadily through affiliate and organic channels, validating the acquisition setup and onboarding flow the team built.

70,000+ bets processed per day at peak — the game engine and transaction pipeline handled high-frequency events reliably without major processing bottlenecks or data consistency issues. 900+ concurrent real-time users handled without noticeable degradation — the Centrifugo-based real-time layer held up under actual load, with infrastructure capacity to scale beyond the current baseline. 

1,200+ games connected across providers – the aggregation layer integrated cleanly with multiple third-party suppliers, giving the catalog enough depth to retain users from day one.

Average session duration of 3+ minutes – engagement metrics confirmed the reward mechanics and UI flow were working as intended to keep players active beyond a single session.

240 GB database with clean audit trail in place – the data layer was designed with immutable transaction records and proper indexing from the start, avoiding the rework that comes from retrofitting structure later.

Structured and responsive throughout. The team covered both frontend and backend without us needing to coordinate between separate vendors, which saved a lot of overhead. Issues got flagged and resolved quickly, and the delivery cadence was consistent. Documentation was produced alongside the build, so handoff was clean.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

First – the depth of the integrations work. Connecting multiple game providers, payment processors, affiliate platforms, and analytics tools in a way that actually holds together under load is not trivial. yual did it without creating a fragile mess of one-off connectors. The architecture was designed so each integration was isolated and replaceable, which matters a lot as the platform grows.

Second – how they handled the real-time layer. Running live reward collection, balance updates, and leaderboard refreshes through Centrifugo while keeping the experience smooth for concurrent users is the kind of problem many teams struggle with. It worked cleanly from launch.

They understood which technical decisions had product impact — for example, keeping integrations isolated made it easier for us to expand the game catalog, test new providers, and support future promotions without reworking the core platform. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something yual could have done differently?

Nothing material affected the outcome. If anything, earlier load-testing documentation around some real-time and payment flows would have made internal handoff even easier. That said, the platform launched on time and has remained stable since launch.

What challenge were you trying to address with yual?

We needed a codebase that could scale with our company. We were raising funding in parallel, so the platform had to hold up to investor and operational surveys.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

yual led the frontend side of our platform and owned a meaningful chunk of the integration and quality work around it. The scope was broad but focused. They were responsible for turning a complicated legal and operational workflow into an interface our team and customers could use daily.

The main areas of work included frontend architecture and development. yual designed and built complex user interfaces and components in Vue.js covering the full lien-to-auction workflow, including unit tracking, notice generation, mailing queues, auction management, and customer-facing screens. They also implemented responsive design and efficient state management so operators could move through dense, multi-step processes without friction. Additionally, they established component standards, modularity, and reusability patterns across the codebase.

The team also handled third-party integrations. They integrated Google Cloud Vision API for document processing. They wired up AWS SES for the certified mailing system that drives the compliance side of the platform. They also integrated Twilio for SMS and voice notifications tied to auction and tenant communication flows. Moreover, they built payment and user management flows on top of the Laravel/MySQL backend.

yual was also responsible for quality and performance. They wrote and maintained unit and end-to-end test coverage using Jest and Cypress to protect the legally sensitive parts of the workflow from regressions. They identified and fixed performance bottlenecks, improved load times, and prepared the frontend to scale as our user base grew.

The team ran code reviews, enforced coding standards, and mentored junior developers on our side, which had a real effect on code quality beyond just their tickets. They collaborated closely with our backend developers, designers, and product managers to keep technical decisions aligned with the business.

Their core responsibility was the frontend and the integrations that lived closest to it, including the Vue.js UI, the AWS SES mailing layer, Twilio notifications, and Google Cloud Vision document processing. They also owned the frontend test suite (Jest and Cypress) and the code quality process on that side of the stack.

However, they didn’t directly handle the core backend business logic. The PHP services and the deeper auction, billing, and compliance rules lived with our backend team. yual integrated with it but didn’t own it. They also didn’t handle DevOps, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines, which we handled internally. Moreover, they didn’t handle product strategy and the legal/compliance framework itself. The lien-to-auction rules, state-by-state requirements, and product direction were defined on our side. yual translated those decisions into working software.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The platform moved from a manual, paperwork-driven workflow to a digitized lien-to-auction system that our operators could run at a meaningfully higher volume per person. We shipped a full production Vue.js frontend covering the entire lien-to-auction cycle, including notices, certified mailings, auctions, and customer flows, without major rewrites along the way.

Test coverage on the frontend moved from minimal to a maintained Jest and Cypress suite protecting the legally sensitive parts of the workflow. Regressions in compliance-critical flows dropped noticeably. Page load and interaction performance improved after their optimization work. We had faster load times and smoother state transitions on heavy operator screens.

Integration reliability with AWS SES, Twilio, and Google Cloud Vision was stable enough that the mailing and notification systems ran without the kind of manual babysitting we’d had before.

Moreover, frontend code quality measurably improved. We had cleaner components, consistent standards, and fewer review cycles per PR. Part of that came from the code reviews and mentoring they did with our junior developers, which kept paying off even on work they weren’t directly involved in. Onboarding new frontend developers got easier because the codebase was modular and documented, not a tangle. Although we didn’t run a formal KPI scorecard against yual’s work, a few things were visibly different during and after the engagement. Once the Jest and Cypress suites were in place, the mailing, notice, and auction flows stopped breaking in the ways they used to. Before that, small frontend changes could surface issues in the legally sensitive parts of the workflow.

Additionally, PRs came back cleaner because the standards and patterns yual enforced were being followed by the rest of the team, not just by them. New frontend developers could find their way around the codebase faster because it was modular and conventions were consistent.

How did yual perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management was solid. It wasn’t flashy or bureaucratic. It was the kind of project management we noticed mostly because things were moving. We communicated via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They made our team better, not just our product. Most vendors ship what you ask for and leave. yual’s code reviews, standards enforcement, and mentoring left a mark on how our in-house frontend developers worked — even on code yual never touched.

Streamlined self-storage lien-to-auction platform with advanced mailing systems and API integrations, enhancing operational efficiency and compliance (raised a total of $2.18 million in funding). The collaboration with our client in the self-storage industry was centered on improving their lien-to-auction operations. 

The essence of the project was to create a platform where the client can effectively monitor all existing liens, ensure timely communication with renters via automatic emails and SMS, and effortlessly prepare letters for physical delivery. Further functionalities included the easy set-up and dissemination of auction-related communications. 

Killing Features: 

- Sophisticated mailing system allowing customization to align with different state laws.
- Integration with Cloud Vision API for recognizing and translating text from PDFs.
- Seamless synchronization with an auctions API to speed up data updates.
- Detailed and adaptable Access Control List (ACL) system for role-based functionalities.
- Incorporation of Zendesk to enhance customer support.

Vasyl and his team (yual) were engaged in the development, and we acted as intermediaries.
