I’m a manager at Watertaxi Rotterdam B.V., which is part of Spring Holding B.V. Our water taxis transport riders to docks between Rotterdam and Schiedam in the Netherlands.

We hired them to update our website, including the possibility to make online reservations on the same website.

What were your goals for this project?

To provide information to our users in both Dutch and English. By using an online booking API, we wanted to reduce the number of reservations made by phone.

We were already working together on other projects.

The website was designed from scratch, using a few elements from our previous site. They then built it for us, developing an API to interact with our backend.

Since the launch of the new website, we have an ever-increasing amount of reservations made online. That decreases the pressure on the employees operating the phone.
