I’m the founder of Mi-Era, an education platform that helps teens build focus and self-regulation skills through structured exercises and adaptive feedback. We use behavioral science and evidence-based practices to foster cognitive stamina and ownership over attention.

What challenge were you trying to address with Xmethod?

We needed to take Mi-Era from an early-stage concept through the design and development of a fully functioning mobile app. Our goal was to create an engaging study and focus platform for teens that combined planning, AI-supported study tools, focus sessions, gamification, and a simple, intuitive UX.As a non-technical founder, I also needed a development partner who could help translate the broader vision into a practical product roadmap, make thoughtful technical recommendations, and build something polished enough to launch and put in front of real users. Ultimately, the objective was not just to build an app but to create a strong foundation for a product we could continue testing, improving, and scaling.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Xmethod handled the project from the initial product discovery through UX/UI design, development, testing, and launch support. The scope included helping us define the product structure and UX, designing the app interface, developing the mobile app, integrating the backend infrastructure, and building the core features that make up the Mi-Era experience.Key deliverables included the onboarding and user account experience, assignment and study-planning workflows, focus sessions and timers, gamification features such as XP, levels, and badges, AI-supported study tools, subscription functionality, and the overall dashboard and navigation experience.They also supported testing, troubleshooting, iterations based on feedback, and preparing the app for launch. Overall, they were responsible for turning our product concept and requirements into a functional, polished mobile app that we could begin putting in front of real users.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The clearest outcome was that Xmethod took Mi-Era from an early-stage concept to a fully functioning mobile app that we launched and began testing with real users.By launch, we had built a waitlist of approximately 300 people, brought in beta testers and student ambassadors, and started getting the product into the hands of actual teens. We were able to move from discussing features and workflows in theory to observing how students interacted with the app, gathering feedback, and using that feedback to guide the next phase of development.From a product standpoint, Xmethod delivered the core infrastructure and functionality we needed to launch, including the main study and focus workflows, AI-supported tools, gamification, user accounts, subscriptions, and the overall mobile experience.For me, the biggest measure of success was having a real, polished product in the market that we could begin validating and improving rather than simply having an idea or prototype.Since Mi-Era was still in the early launch stage, we were primarily focused on initial adoption and qualitative user feedback rather than mature retention or revenue metrics. We tracked early indicators such as waitlist growth, beta participation, app downloads, and feedback from students using the product.We didn’t have a large enough user base to rely on formal app store ratings or statistically meaningful survey scores during the early launch phase. Most of our early feedback came through beta testing, direct user feedback, and conversations with teens who were using the product.We also tracked participation indicators such as our approximately 300-person waitlist, beta tester participation, and student ambassadors. At that stage, the feedback was primarily being used to identify friction points, understand which features resonated most with students, and determine what we should prioritize next.As the user base grows, we expect more formal engagement, retention, survey, and app store metrics to become a larger part of how we measure the product.Another important indicator of progress was that we ended the engagement with a real product foundation that could continue evolving beyond the initial launch. Xmethod helped us move beyond a prototype and establish the core architecture, user flows, backend systems, and feature set needed for future development.That gave us something we could continue testing with users, refine based on feedback, and build additional functionality on top of. I also consider the ability to demonstrate the product to users, advisors, partners, and other stakeholders a meaningful outcome.Before working with Xmethod, Mi-Era was largely a concept and vision. After the project, we had a tangible product that people could experience firsthand, which made it much easier to gather meaningful feedback and communicate where the company was headed.

How did Xmethod perform from a project management standpoint?

Xmethod’s project management was collaborative and generally well-organized. We had regular communication throughout the project, and their team was responsive when questions came up or when we needed to make adjustments.Because Mi-Era evolved significantly during development, the scope also changed along the way. The team was flexible in working through those changes and continued moving the product toward launch. There were some shifts in timing as the project developed, but given the complexity of the build and the iterations we made, I felt they remained committed to getting us to a strong final product.What I appreciated most was their willingness to work through challenges with us rather than treating the project as a rigid set of requirements. They stayed engaged through development, testing, revisions, and launch preparation, and ultimately helped us get a polished product into the hands of users.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What impressed me most was Xmethod’s ability to take a complex idea and turn it into a real, polished product.As a non-technical founder, I came to the project with a very clear vision for what I wanted Mi-Era to accomplish but not necessarily the technical language or framework for how to build it. Their team was able to understand the intent behind the product, translate that into practical user flows and technical solutions, and then actually bring it to life.I was also impressed by how many different elements they were able to bring together into one cohesive experience, including AI-supported tools, planning and focus features, gamification, subscriptions, and the overall mobile experience.What felt most unique was that they weren’t simply executing a list of development tasks. They helped turn an evolving idea into something tangible that real users could interact with, which was incredibly meaningful to me as a founder.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The main area they could have been stronger was communication around scope changes and budget as the product evolved.Because Mi-Era changed quite a bit during development, there were times when having even more proactive visibility into how new requests might affect timing, priorities, or overall cost would have been helpful. As a non-technical founder, I relied heavily on the team to help me understand those trade-offs.That said, Xmethod was always willing to work through changes with us, and I appreciated their flexibility and commitment to getting the product to launch. I see this more as an opportunity to make an already strong development process even more transparent for founders who may not have a technical background.

We attend crypto and Web3 events almost every week in season, plus the major conferences like Token2049 every quarter. The routine was always the same: take a photo with the person, send them a quick hello on Telegram, and then deal with the pile afterwards.
That pile took the team over a week to work through after a big event — sorting contacts, figuring out who was a lead and who was a partner, filling in company and role by hand, moving everything into the CRM. First messages went out over the following month, by which point half the context from the conversation was gone. 
Xmethod built an AI agent that handles that pipeline end to end. 
Key deliverables: 

• Capture layer: contacts collected during the event go into the system from a phone, no post-event data entry 
• Data enrichment: the agent fills in company, role, and public profile data automatically
• Segmentation: contacts are classified by type and priority rather than sorted by hand, with different handling per segment 
• CRM integration: enriched, segmented records land in our existing CRM as complete entries - Outreach drafting: the agent writes a first message for each contact, referencing the actual conversation. A person reviews and sends it 
• Workflow design and architecture: Xmethod mapped how our team actually works at events before building anything 

We brought the CRM and the process knowledge. Xmethod handled architecture, development, and integration.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The clearest change is timing. Processing contacts after a major conference used to take the team over a week — sorting, enriching, moving into the CRM. That now takes a day. First messages used to go out over the course of the following month. They now go out while the conversation is still fresh, usually within a day or two of the event. 
The second change is what the team stopped doing. Nobody spends a week on data entry after a conference anymore. That work disappeared rather than moved to someone else. 
The third is coverage. Contacts used to get lost — a photo without a name, a Telegram chat nobody followed up on, a business card that stayed in a bag. Everything collected at an event now ends up in the CRM as a complete record. 
We deliberately kept a human in the loop on the messages themselves. That was Xmethod's recommendation, and it was the right call. Our best deals come from real conversations, and the agent handles everything up to the message without making our outreach sound automated.

Communication ran through Telegram with regular check-ins, and it stayed light. We're a small team and we didn't want to sit in status calls, so most of it happened in writing with a call when something needed a decision. 
Delivery was on schedule. Honestly, the delays that did happen were on us — they were waiting on our answers about how we segment people and what a good first message sounds like.edge cases from real events. Xmethod kept moving on what they could while waiting on us.

We came in with a worry, not a spec. Our best deals start with a real conversation at an event and a referral afterwards, and we were afraid automation would flatten exactly that. 
Xmethod didn't argue with it. They automated everything that was genuinely manual — capture, enrichment, segmentation, CRM entry — and stopped at the message. The agent drafts it, a person reads it and sends it. They also proposed handling segments differently instead of running one flow for everyone. 
Neither of those was in our brief. They came from understanding how we win business, not from the requirements doc.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Xmethod could have done differently?

We had to wait to start — their team was busy with other projects. They were upfront about it and we agreed on a date, so it never became a problem. If anything, we'd rather work with a team that says "not yet" than one that takes you on and then disappears for a month. 
Beyond that, nothing. They did the homework on our niche before building anything, and the process was clear the whole way through.

It’s too early to measure the outcomes, but we plan to use the usual metrics for an online shop, such as the conversion rate. The feedback we’ve received from users is that the ‘wow’ effect has been achieved. The website has an interesting but functional design.

he task was to develop a Webflow-based website that would function as a report generator, allowing clients to receive their personalized Webflow site based on a quiz they completed beforehand. It was crucial for these sites to be rebuilt via unique links for each individual client. To achieve this, we needed an impressive design that would engage clients in interacting with the site.

Additionally, the site needed to have fields that automatically adjusted based on incoming data. Overcoming the limitations of Webflow was another essential aspect of the project. The guys from Xmethod expertly suggested how we could structure the data output to stay within Webflow’s limitations while customizing the report site for each client.

The Xmethod team developed a full-featured MVP (online therapy platform) from scratch. I needed to create the app quickly to test demand, collect initial feedback from users, and fundraise for further scaling. 

We began our work by designing a logo. In collaboration with a designer, we selected several suitable references and created a mood board. Based on this, we determined the main color scheme and palette for the future application. I was presented with three versions of the logo, from which I chose one. 

After making a few adjustments, we proceeded directly to drafting the technical requirements for the whole app. At this stage, a product manager and a business analyst became involved, assisting me in uncovering the functionality of my future app. We described the business processes, basic structure, architecture, and logic. After that, I received clear and detailed technical specifications, which I approved. It was necessary to develop such key features:

• user profile for a therapist
• user profile for the patient
• admin panel
• booking system
• user profile moderation
• smart search with filters
• questionnaire
• volunteer’s form

We have chosen Bubble.io for the implementation of these features in Web App. Once we determined the exact scope of work and features, we started developing an interactive prototype in Figma. The designer created it in about a week and a half, and I was able to see my future app. While the prototype was being worked on, I prepared content (texts) for the app pages. 

I gave my feedback and the designer made the necessary adjustments to the prototype. Then he proceeded to develop the design based on the prototype and the chosen color scheme. I really liked the simple, user-friendly style that was done. When the design team finished their sprint, the development team began to implement the app pages and features. 

At the end of each sprint, the team showed me what had been done and we discussed the results together. In this way, the guys finished the app according to my wishes and finally got their MVP so fast. Summary of key deliverables:

The Xmethod team works on Agile methodology in 2-week sprints. At the end of each sprint, I was shown the results and we discussed what had been done and made adjustments if needed. I wanted to note that the project management was top-notch, and all tasks were completed within the acceptable timeline.

Speed! I appreciated the high speed of the Xmethod team. I didn't want to wait 5-6 months (or more) to have an MVP developed, so I opted for Low-code solutions and the Xmethod team. I also liked the polite and timely communication from the project manager and other team members with whom I communicated during the process.

I'm not sure there were any major problems with this project on the part of the team. I liked the process and the result of the work.
