In addition to that, they’ve done UI mockups that went through several rounds of reviews and changes until we got something that we liked and approved. In terms of mobile apps, they’re available for both Android and iOS platforms.

They’re currently expanding our platforms, adding features, and providing maintenance in case of an issue.

They’ve been great in overcoming the language and time zone barriers, which has enabled them to drive us towards the expected results.

I can get in touch with them often; they’re a responsive team that I can reach out to at any given time.

What did you find most impressive about them? 

They’re great at providing feedback and suggestions to our ideas. They are also knowledgeable in other platforms that might be helpful for us, like Stripe for online payments and other customer services chat platforms.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could improve their communication so both parties can ensure that our points are well understood. This is also useful for their internal teams, especially to avoid inconsistency between our platforms regarding the changes we request — sometimes they change something on a platform and forget to do it on the other one because different teams are handling the various sites.

Any advice for potential customers?

Record every discussion session and provide that recording to their team; this will be helpful for future references so they can understand exactly what you’re looking for.

What challenge were you trying to address with Xeven Solutions?

We were looking to develop programs to enable telemedicine and communication between patients and physicians, during the COVID situation and beyond.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We provided a detailed PowerPoint with instructions for specifications and requirements along with some wireframes. Xeven Solutions did R&D regarding the integration for medical equipment to be used on the patient side, as well as the hospital side.

Additionally, they helped us develop custom software and plugged in the desired features. They did this by integrating the code for the medical equipment with the software, and found a way around the incompatibilities between the software and SDKs (software development kits). 

What is the team composition?

The project manager was our main point of contact. The team also consisted of senior and junior designers, senior and junior developers, and senior and junior Android and iOS developers.

Due to their expertise from working on similar projects in their past, they were able to give valuable input and suggestions to the project — they were also very cordial.

We invested around $30,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from March–June 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We have been able to reach more patients with hospital-based monitoring. We saw an increase in patient satisfaction, as well as improved communications between them, their physicians, and their families. COVID-19 patients were also monitored without undue exposure to medical staff, improving our patient and work care.

How did Xeven Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

We set bi-weekly demo schedules to review updates and provide feedback. We communicated via Skype easily for our other needs and there were no unnecessary delays.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Efficient communication was the key to our smooth engagement. They were willing to listen to any issues we brought up, and communicate openly about what they encountered in the project.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It wasn’t really their fault, but it was difficult for them to give proper time and cost estimates, due to the unknowns concerning the integration of third-party software and equipment.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Give them your ideas, and listen to their recommendations. Set up a good plan and structure for project management, and make sure you’re comfortable with the modes of communication. They can help fill in gaps on aspects you aren’t sure about, such as visualization of the project.

My organization is an enterprise software platform geared towards social connectivity and preventing isolation in the Dementia and Alzheimer’s population.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our product is a true software platform, so we have iOS and Android apps to support the needs of our community and family customers, but at its core, we are building a browser-based platform.

We came to them with concepts and wireframes in place, but we’ve I’ve had conversations with their team over the past year in which they have informed the larger strategy of the project.

They worked in ASP.net to develop the program’s functionality on top of AWS as the architecture. We also use some services from Azure and a client-side template called Admin LTE, which is an open-source front end framework.

What is the team composition?

There are a handful of people on their team that I communicate with directly for various pieces of the puzzle, whether that’s QA, weekly standups, or anything else. When it comes to strategy and leadership, Irfan (CEO) has definitely taken the lead for the most part.

How did you come to work with Xeven Solutions?

They responded to a bid we posted on Upwork, and we had enough conversations that built my confidence in their team’s skill set and approach to the point where I decided to work with them.

How much have you invested with them?

The total cost of the project scope we’ve laid out so far is $36,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We signed our contract in July 2019 and are continuing to work together. My goal is for Xeven Solutions to continue to serve as our development team on an ongoing basis once we’ve implemented the product into the community.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

What they’ve built and the way they’ve built it is very current in terms of best practices for applications like these. They’ve enabled a sort of micro-services structure in which we can pull out and update or repair single pieces of the application as need be without taking the rest of it offline.

They’ve also been instrumental in making changes to the platform that significantly streamline the end service that we can provide. Even in the way we assign tablets to residents, their knowledge of the code helped them to be able to think through and simplify significantly.

We are continuing to fix bugs and nail down the fine-tuning of the application, and they have done a great job of staying flexible with those changes. They continue to iterate and address issues that arise as we come across them, and so far they’ve always hit the nail on the head.

How did Xeven Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They use different programs than we do but have been willing to adapt to our platforms, and vice versa. As a whole team, we use Slack, JIRA, and WhatsApp to communicate. All of the tools we use to keep track of progress and everything have been very helpful in consolidating all of our plans and the information we need to eliminate redundancies and solve problems in the most efficient way possible.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their philosophy as developers is completely team-minded. It often seems like they take as much pride in the final result as you do, and that attitude shows in their work. They have worked with us through ups and downs, and we view them very much as partners rather than contractors.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Any bumps we’ve run into throughout the collaboration have been fairly minor, and their team has always been totally willing to listen to feedback from us when it comes to those things. Honestly, the only thing I think they should work on is how they market themselves because I think they have a lot of untapped potential as a team that doesn’t come through in their brand copy.

Just get a good understanding of what their strengths and weaknesses are and be open about yours so that your teams are able to meet each other where you’re at. They’re pretty good at answering questions and having a solid grasp of what needs to happen at any given point, so take advantage of their expertise in that respect.

A web-based platform that is mobile device-optimized is the software product that needs to be created.Users can upload a variety of consumer agreements using the platform, including: employment and property agreements In order to analyze these contracts and produce a one-page report outlining the summary, pre-defined set of questions, user defined which allows the users to ask their own set of questions and the graph. 
This will help the customers to analyze the long agreements and get the summary out of the agreement in order to understand the overall agreement in a better way. The goal is to provide consumer agreements which are analyzed using AI, highlighting any points about what the agreement holds within it for the users
