While Xeven Solutions provided great support and kept up with recent technologies, there were not many delays in communication which could be improved upon. Clearer communication channels or quicker responses would enhance the overall experience.

I felt like they conveyed an excellent understanding of the complexity of the program I needed. I also felt like the price that was proposed would be a very good value for the proposed project.

The program consists of scheduling, referral management, VOIP, SMS, medical documentation, billing, analytics, faxing, task management along with many automated workflow functions.

I worked with a team of about 6 people. My primary communications throughout the process has been with Samia Rubab, who has been excellent.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We are currently about 2/3 complete with the project. They have continually provided me with demonstrations, documentation and the source code for the project as each milestone has been completed.

We regularly communicate through Zoom. I am also updated through Github, Jira, and Slack. I have had no problems with getting information in a timely manner.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have been really good with solving problems. They have also been extremely diligent in completing this project to a level we can all be proud of.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not that I have observed thus far.

Xeven was chosen after interviewing several similar companies. Xeven had the experience and the staff to take development from inception to live using in-house resources.

Rapid development of a new app where multiple teams would need to work in parallel developing towards a common goal. As of today we are about 80% complete with all the pieces falling together nicely.

Too many to remember with new team members assigned as needed. I generally worked with one project manager and had periodic meetings with him throughout.

We are slightly behind schedule right now. A hard date milestone is coming up within one week. It will be tight, I do believe we will make it. Remember this was a super tight timeline.

Customers meet with very few points of contacts. This is to keep the project streamlined and meeting times short. Daily communication is done through WhatsApp, video calls through Zoom, with various project management tools access.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The size and number of employees is on the larger side. However, they are flexible and can adjust resources on the fly and are very agile in that way. It feels like working with a smaller contractor but with wider resources.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Better proactive communication on current status tasks and milestones.

The project manager stuck to the agreed upon timeline and provided frequent updates. Any changes asked for were implemented. Easy to communicate with and pleasant to work with

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their mobile app development skills blew me away. The design phase to the backend and the particulars of having it come to life. Explanations of technology etc to a beginner like me, was much appreciated. They were always available to answer any questions I had or clarify the process or specifics.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The one concern I had were just involving the particulars of PIPEDA/PIPA/PHIPA security details. At first some important particulars were missed, but the team corrected right away.

Xeven Solutions is developing our web and mobile applications — we started with one project but have since expanded into a second app development project. As part of the project, Xeven Solutions has delivered a video conferencing solution that connects doctors to patients within 15 minutes. 

Xeven Solutions' team also rescued an app that we'd developed with another vendor. They evaluated the problems we were having with the existing app, fixed them, and then updated the app's technology.

We've worked with their CTO and IT developers.

We hired Xeven Solutions because of their portfolio — they specialized in medical and healthcare markets and had already developed diagnostic testing software. However, I'm not quite sure how we first found them.

We've invested around £50,000–£60,000 (approximately $66,000– $79,000 USD) with Xeven Solutions on our new project, but I'm not sure how much the first project cost.

Our engagement with Xeven Solutions began in November 2021, and it's ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our current project hasn't launched yet, but Xeven Solutions' developers have drastically improved our existing app. No matter what challenge we present, Xeven Solutions can deliver a comprehensive, user-friendly solution. 

How did Xeven Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

Xeven Solutions manages projects so well we've actually utilized their project management services on another project. They are experts in their field and have excellent documentation processes. We mostly communicate through phone calls and video conferences, but do have occasional in-person meetings. Their team is always available for a call.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

Xeven Solutions' excellent communication is their best quality; their team is professional and has robust documentation. Overall, Xeven Solutions is very capable of delivering high-quality solutions.

I have nothing for Xeven Solutions to improve.

I'd advise customers to have an open conversation with Xeven Solutions about their needs because their team can contribute a lot of excellent ideas and experience to help improve a project.

Xeven Solutions is helping us develop a custom software solution to improve the day-to-day operations of a nursing home. It is essentially a backend platform and its core user groups are the internal staff and care sponsors.

The quality of the product they delivered has been superb, but there’s still room for improvement.

How did Xeven Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They perform well from a project management and communication standpoint, and they consistently deliver their tasks within the given timeframe and budget.

Additionally, we use JIRA to track the progress and milestones of the development.

What did you find most impressive about them?

My development standards are quite high, but I’m still impressed by the quality of their deliverables.

Are there any areas they could improve?

While satisfactory, they could probably improve on their project management skills, as there are some details in the process that they’ve missed.

They assured me of the quality of the product but it was still full of issues when we received it.

I advise you to clearly communicate your needs and expectations for the project, so as to avoid confusion during the development process. Keep yourself in the loop and be wary of the minor details in the code.

Our custom software development was initially contracted through a company that didn’t do a good job. We needed to find another partner to help us.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Xeven took over the development of a performance evaluation app that will track everything our employees do from day one to the day they leave or get promoted. We had to get rid of the old code, so the Xeven team started from scratch. 

They’ve completed the first phase and are now in the second development phase. We have a contract for them to provide IT support and maintain the software after the app is complete.

We started with three people, and now we have 8–9 Xeven teammates working on our project, including a project manager.

We found them on Upwork. I saw their reviews and revenue and figured they knew what they were doing. After I engaged the CEO a couple of times, I felt they were a good fit for us.

We started working together in January 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Xeven has done a great job. Their great team asks the right questions; they really want to understand our full requirements for the application. When we started working together, they focused on understanding what we were trying to build, what the problem was, and how to solve it.

Additionally, they asked me if I was open to their team doing their own R&D work and providing me with some feedback. Xeven exceeded my expectations — I’m 100% satisfied with them.

How did Xeven Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

We engage almost daily through WhatsApp, Skype, and Microsoft Teams. I can reach them quickly, and they’re very responsive, even on evenings and weekends. We have two demo sessions per week.

Their English is excellent, so we’ve had no problem understanding each other. Xeven always makes sure the people they bring into the team understand our project.

When the COVID-19 pandemic started, it didn’t stop them from working. Additionally, they haven’t charged extra regardless of the increase in the scope of work. Overall, they’ve been excellent at project management. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m really impressed by how Xeven tries to understand the project. They take their time to research before engaging, and they try to work with you within our budget. 

I also love that money isn’t their main focus — Xeven loves meaningful projects, which means something to me. The team doesn’t take on any project but wanted to take on ours. They really consider us an important client, which makes us feel special.

They could improve in recognizing if they have the right resources or enough resources for the project.

Be very upfront and open-minded. Also, don’t put Xeven in a box; I allowed them enough flexibility to work with me.

We were looking to put together a direct to consumer telehealth product and we hired/needed Xeven to help us put this together. We had many customization requests and needed a product to work globally.

We decided on Xeven due to their flexibility on customizations and configurations to the product. They had a strong development team and really establish themselves as partners.

The work entailed putting a SaaS application to promote the use of telehealth and manage a subscription model for user for themselves and their family members. It required multiple points of integration as well and to utilize medical record details.

We have a PM lead with a group of developers to our disposal who were very accommodating. As well as at times for greater conversation. The CEO was also very accessible.

Yes, we launched services in Nigeria without any technical hurdles and allowed consumers to easily sign up and conduct their visits. There are many subscribers now to the platform.

The management style was on spot. They followed a project plan with key deliverables. It detailed the requirements and when they would be implemented and there was also related business requirements document to speak to the key requirements/deliverables.

I think they are have great team and are very much business/technical oriented and knew what questions to ask in order to put together a complete solution.

There are a vast number of people within my field who analyze Xeven Solutions' work, and they often provide minor feedback to revise aspects of the project.

The team is fast in making changes as we organize everything a day before the changes need to be made. Whenever revisions need to be made they are done pretty fast. They generally do a great job of correcting the work as needed so I have no complaints.
