Our main goal with them was SEO and keyword research. Their team took the direction of this project and worked with multiple people from our teams to facilitate the work.

In addition to that, they did PPC and design work for our ads as well.

They were referred to us by a member of our team. We chose them because they had experience with SEO and also had a good market reputation.

We worked together from September 2017–January 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We saw an increase from an SEO standpoint. We didn’t have anything before engaging with them, and now we have several leads that we didn’t have before, which convert into paid jobs.

How did WiRe Innovation LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re responsive; we used Skype, Slack, email, and phone calls. They were a consultant for us, so we treated them as employees with scheduled meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They invested in the partnership, so they got to know who we are. WiRe Innovation cared about our company’s success, and Corey made it a unique collaboration.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I recommend getting the support they need and enrich their work.

Any advice for potential customers?

Be clear with your goals and expectations of the project from a business perspective. They have many good ideas and can also give you great consulting if you’re transparent enough.

My name is Rob Duchscher and I’m the Chief Information Officer for SunOpta. SunOpta is focused on helping make the planet and its people healthier through plant-based foods & beverages, organic ingredients, and organic foods & beverages.

What challenge were you trying to address with WiRe Innovation LLC?

When we first engaged WiRe, our websites and associated sites were aged, not user friendly and were not responsive in nature.  Our IT team doesn’t have internal web or SEO knowledge and therefore we decided to outsource this effort. As a result, we needed a vendor that could do everything from the ground up.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We initially engaged WiRE Innovation to redesign and build our main corporate website and subsequent sites. It was a complete rework – we redid all our copywriting and artwork, and they also did the API connection to our investor portal, which is hosted by another firm.

Since then, they’ve also done additional websites for new products that have been released. We’ve also engaged them on a trial basis to increase our SEO performance.

Korey (President & CEO) is our primary point of contact. He handles communications with us, helping us define our requirements, and coordinates with their offshore developers.

They were a recommendation from a peer who had previously worked with them. As it turns out, after researching WiRE Innovation, they had a close relationship with a contract house that I’ve done business with for many years. This along with my initial discussions with Korey, gave me a high level of confidence that we had the right firm.

We started working together in October 2019, and our relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Not only have they’ve recreated our website and made it mobile-friendly, but they’ve also put our site on the map. They have increased our traffic substantially compared to our old site. Korey’s firm is quite knowledgeable from an SEO standpoint and our site’s analytics reflect this in the number of clicks we are receiving. 

How did WiRe Innovation LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

In general, their project management has been excellent. WiRE Innovation has been a class-act company, and we haven’t had any issues. Their team has been spot on with their schedules. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their development speed and quality are impressive. The team is quick to deliver, and we haven’t had issues with the site, its security, or their hosting services. On top of that, they’re always available and willing to answer questions. Everything has been great.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of a single thing — they’re one of my top vendors. WiRE Innovation has done everything we’ve asked. We were working on a site for Quebec, and they even offered to do the translation for us. They are a one-stop-shop to get things done. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Keep a high level of engagement with their team. If you hit your deliverables, then WiRE Innovation will hit their timeline. Many times, website projects get delayed because the client falls behind on their side of the project. We put a project manager in place to make sure that we were hitting our tasks on our side, which allowed WiRe to stay on track.

We engage with our clients via HubSpot, and we also use a platform to track our SEO and organic traffic, which we review with Korey every couple of weeks. In terms of communication, we use phone calls, Microsoft Teams, and email — they’re accessible and answer anytime I reach out to them.

Their communication and commitment to timelines are impressive. They’re a responsive partner that cares — there are not many companies that do that these days.

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on.

I’m the owner and operator of Empire Entertainment, an entertainment company. Under the umbrella of Empire Entertainment, there are four venues that have lots of live music and special events.

We used to have an internal marketing team, but we found that once the two people that were in marketing left, it was hard to fill the positions. We decided to outsource our marketing needs.

They help us with SEO and SEM. We have a lot of graphic needs for flyers, and they also help with social media marketing, as well as our footprint on Facebook and Instagram.

I used to work with the owner of the company right after I graduated college. We lost touch for a few years and then we rekindled. He was telling me about what he did. At that time, we didn’t have the need for their services but once we did, I reached out to him. 

They really fit what we were trying to do, so we decided to give them a shot and liked everything they’ve done so far. I also got a lot of really good feedback from other people I know that have worked with them in the past.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We worked with one social media manager for the first year and she was really good, but they’ve since hired somebody else who has been phenomenal on the social media side. She’s really targeted the things that we wanted for a long time that the last person wasn’t giving us — The old social media manager was giving us 90%, and I feel this new person is doing 99% of what we want on the social media management side. I give her a 99 because nothing is perfect, but she still does a fantastic job.  

The biggest impact I’ve seen is getting onto the first page of Google when somebody says “weddings in Minneapolis.” That was really big. I remember the day that happened and how we celebrated. It was awesome to see.

How did WiRe Innovation LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

I get monthly analytics reports for each one of the venues. We have quite a few communication tools through Telegram and WhatsApp. The owner of the company has great communication skills. If I ever need anything, I pick up the phone and it’s usually done pretty quickly.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The best thing about working with them is their responsiveness. No matter who it is, I can send a message, and whatever I’m asking for is rectified or completed very quickly. Their responsiveness is amazing.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t have any complaints.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They really know what they’re doing. Working with them is really going to change your business and take a lot off your shoulders. I used to personally try to manage all of our social media on my own and it was a part-time job. Going with them really takes everything out of your hands, off your mind, and off of your shoulders. You should definitely do it. They’re a one-stop-shop.

I’m the president and CEO of TEAM Informatics.

What challenge were you trying to address with WiRe Innovation LLC?

We positioned ourselves on our information management approach. As a result, we delivered content management solutions on a global scale to a variety of clients. Since they were part of different verticals and business sizes, our projects with our third-party stakeholders were all distinct.

For instance, on a certain client, we’d be required to deliver results management solutions to them. Then, for other clients, they’d ask us for a commercial plan, contract management, accounting services, and more. Overall, we just had a variety of capabilities that we could offer to our customers. Despite that, we didn’t have any internal marketing folks. As a result, we searched for a full-service agency that could address all our marketing concerns.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They act as an extension of our team by using our systems, setting up our calls, and instructing what our internal team needs to do. We typically give them a strategy, and they help us break that down into different pieces.

They produce web content and graphic designs for us. They also build out web pages, help us with press releases, perform necessary preparations for a trade show, and more. On top of that, they spearhead our SEO efforts, and they create videos for us. So far, they’ve produced fully animated videos associated with some of the sites and services we deliver.

What is the team composition?

We have two main points of contact including Britney (Customer Success Manager) and Korey (President & CEO). Britney mentions our deliverables back to their team.

How did you come to work with WiRe Innovation LLC?

I worked with Korey before. As we were searching for a marketing company that could advocate and manage all our marketing functions, he came to us with a full proposal. He indicated the things his team would do once we decide to hire them. Korey also told us that one of his program managers would guide our internal team.

During the process, we also looked for other agencies we worked with in the past. Some of them were based in New Zealand, the US, and more. However, one of the potential service providers could only offer us web writing services. Since we wanted everything to be centralized, we chose WiRe because of their capability, experience, and price.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve probably spent $200,000–$250,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working with them since January 2018, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Everything has been extremely good. They’ve dramatically improved our rankings and have increased our brand visibility by enabling our products and company to secure first-page rankings on Google. The number of customers coming to our site and submitting our forms has been substantial as well, leading to an increased in our traffic.

How did WiRe Innovation LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

They have a good project management process, and they’re always on top of things. They provide deliverables in a timely manner. I also find them to be very flexible, especially during times when we want to quickly change the direction of our efforts.

We’ve instructed them to run a monthly report on the different metrics around the performance of our website and keywords. They also track the content that we’re writing and the other solutions that we’ve been providing to third-party stakeholders. In addition, they use Microsoft Teams to deliver the report to our teams in the US, Australia, and New Zealand.

What did you find most impressive about them?

WiRe’s capability and flexibility have been impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We eventually have to improve the content we produce to make sure it’s consistent with our brand voice. They can also be more forceful with our internal team on getting things done; they push us, but we need them to push us even harder. That can help us in getting the content we need out at the right time. However, I’d like to say that we have a very good relationship with their team.

Take a look at what they can provide versus other agencies because you're going to find that WiRe is great. Additionally, check the cost they need to deliver things and get a sense of their capability. Ask them about their methods and the projects they’ve done with past clients. In the end, you’ll be impressed with what WiRe can do.
