Windhill Design took over hosting our website from the company that originally created it for us. They helped us update it shortly thereafter and contunue to host the site on their servers.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

To be truthful, we did not select this vendor. They happened to acquire our account when they bought the company that originally created and hosted the website for us. Nonetheless they have been helpful and reliable in updating the site and keeping it up and running.

The website existed when Windhill acquired our account. The have helped with a minor redesign of the webpages structure and functionality, and provide hosting on their serves as well as email service and site maintenance when necessary.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I have mostly worked directly with LInk. I do not recall the names of the few others who have been involved over the past six or so years

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The website has been up an running daily, with few issues for the approximately 6 years Windhill has had i involved

I'v had no trouble communication with Windhill. Generally they respond quickly when contacted.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I have not enough experience with other companies such as this to provide a useful answer to this question.

No complaints at this time

Our website was nothing more than a landing page and we didn't have the in-house support or time to build a compelling website. We hired Windhill Design to design and launch a completely new website with the goal of providing enough content for users to understand more about our expertise.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We asked a colleague in the industry who they would recommend for web design and we were referred to WindHill Design. We contacted Windhill as well as one other firm and listened to both companies pitch their ideas and give us basic layout concepts. Windhill seemed to have a much better understanding of our industry and the type of design to showcase our content. Windhill was very responsive to our questions and idea sharing.

We had a kickoff meeting to share ideas and content with Windhill and we all had takeaway notes and details required to move to the next step. Windhill listened to us and were also not afraid to tell us how something might work better or look better in terms of design or flow of the site. They asked us for creative content and images, as they are not experts in our industry, and the process was fast and easy. As soon as I provided what they needed, within days, the content was available as a test site for us to critique almost as soon as the site was built. Windhill set deadlines and timelines and typically exceeded the delivery of each.

We communicated with a single point of contact, however, there were several folks in the emails who were working at Windhill, helping build our site. The communication process worked well, since we had one voice from Windhill and not several different people adding commentary.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We don't use metrics to measure the traffic to our site and we don't have any call-to-actions on our site, providing any insight either, however, we immediately had folks emailing us, asking if we'd be interested in certain projects, based on what they read on our site. In the most recent 2 years of having our 'landing page', we never received a single email or phone call inquiring about our qualifications or interest to participate in a project. I would say the results of the work Windhill Design did for us are immeasurable.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had a single point of contact at Windhill who was quick to respond and always addressed our questions in a timely manner.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was most impressed with their ability to work with us. After all, I did expect them to be the experts at web design, so they excelled as I expected, but more importantly, they took the time to help us understand how or why things worked the way they did. They were patient with us and guided us through the process.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They always exceeded deadline expectations, they communicated effectively and efficiently and were patient with us. I'm not sure what more I could've asked or expected. They continue to provide ongoing support as well, so really, I'll just suggest that I highly recommend Windhill Design, period.

Hermit Woods Winery & Deli is a wine manufacturer and deli and event space. We craft wine from locally sourced organic fruit. Our Deli had has 125 indoor and outdoor seats and serves sandwiches, wraps, flatbread pizza, and paninis. I am a founding partner.

We work with Windhill to keep our website up to date and secure and develop new functionality as the need arises.

Windhill design reached out to me to make us aware of their services. After a brief conversation with the founder, I knew I was choosing the right company to work with for my needs. He was easy to communicate with, friendly, and efficient in his work with us.

He went through our who site, making sure it was up today and secure, made recommendations for changes, and executed those changes. His team also build new functionality for our site, including building several new forms for the introduction of new services. We provided the templates for what we were looking for and his team made recommendations to improve our templates and executed the work in a timely manner.

We were offered two opportunities to go back and forth until we were satisfied with the completed project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The new features have only been in use for a short time. We don't have data to offer measurable outcomes other than to say that the work done for us exceeded our expectations.

Work was conducted via a Zoom, phone calls, and email exchanges. It was completed in a timely manner.

I am the owner of a pick your own fruit farm in Farmington New Hampshire. A retail farm business where customers visit the farm to enjoy picking fruit themselves.

Our goal was to create a online reservation tool for customers to reserve arrival times to visit our farm. It was necessary to limit crowd size during the pandemic to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.

How did you select this Windhill Design and what were the deciding factors?

I had used Link before through my association with the New Hampshire Fruit Growers Association. He had helped us develop our website for that group. Windhill Design was willing to help us tackle this unique project and we had good experience with him in the past.

Link helped us create a second URL location which functioned solely as the reservation site. It was linked from our businesses site. The reservation site allowed customers to view open arrival times up to 4 days in advance, reserve the spot they wanted and it even sent them an email confirmation on their reservation.

We could then manage this site through the back end in real time as business days moved forward.

Link Moser was the only individual from Wind Hill Design who worked with us.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We experienced a couple of glitches, which linked helped us work through immediately, even on weekend days. Hard to give a measurable outcome other than the system worked.

Wind Hill was always quick to respond in a professional manner. E-mail was frequent and phone conversations easy to arrange.

Small company with the small company service, and Link knows his game. We were satisfied with the team that helped us to complete this project.

We are in the lodging and recreational sports industry. We have 18 cottages or buildings and rent jet skis, pontoon boats and have lazy river rafting. I am the owner for the past 27 years.

Link and his team first assessed my needs. Then they showed me models that they could work off of. I selected a model and then began to provide them photos, dialogue and they built out site. I was able to comb through the language, make suggestions, changed photos and locations until we were both satisfied with the site.

They then showed me how to make minor modifications on my own if I chose too.

Our sales have increased 50% in the first year which was a covid year and another 50% this year.

Their skills and professionalism throughout the workflow were impressive....they practice what they preach...

Perhaps a face to face meeting. We were communicating two states away...a zoom might have been good.

After our internal review of the draft website, two or three iterations were undertaken to produce a site we are extremely comfortable with. So much so, we moved our hosting to Windhill's management.
