They built and continue to evolve our React Native mobile app and Ruby on Rails backend, processing millions of data points monthly across GPS, cellular, Bluetooth, and WebSockets. Working directly with our firmware team, they optimized data transmission to extend battery life by 54% and delivered an Extended Battery Mode. They accelerated time-to-value with map-based fence creation that cut setup from hours to minutes, and shipped keep-out zones, a Home Zone feature for indoor-outdoor handoff, and activity dashboards. They also built a comprehensive over-the-air platform with progressive rollouts, beta testing, and automatic recovery. Whitespectre's enthusiasm for embracing new technology and applying it creatively forms the foundation of our growth. Doing this work internally would have cost us at least 1.5x more.

I’m the CTO of a gaming company. We offer motorsports fans season-long fantasy leagues for their favorite racing series, as well as real money daily fantasy contests.

What challenge were you trying to address with Whitespectre?

We needed help with our product's customer persona mapping, UI/UX overhaul, customer onboarding app performance.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Whitespectre's engineering team augmented our internal team to stabilize our platform during a period of high growth. They paid down our technical debt, refactored major components of our app, and improved its overall performance. Whitespectre also led the product and UI/UX design for two major redesigns to account for new game development and product maturation. The team worked on customer onboarding, app navigation, game design layouts, and settings page configurations.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Whitespectre's work resulted in improved app uptime and performance, as well as timely deliverables for new designs and builds. Our retention more than doubled, and our revenue increased by 100%. We also had no outages during peak load times, only planned downtime for maintenance.
