Needed an experienced WordPress website designer with the ability to craft a new website for our Technology Design, Integration, and Support company. We wanted to present a fresh, clean, and professional image to our visitors that is easy to navigate and provides minimal but effective information about our company. 

The website had to be viewable on computers, tablets, and mobile devices. Image creation / manipulation is a plus. We wanted to maintain portions of the site internally when minor updates are needed and / or new partnerships are formed. All materials used in the creation should be original or open source and free from copyright, trademark, or license infringement. Site would be hosted on IONOS. Reference materials and examples of work area were required for consideration.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• WebTheory provided an outline in their statement of work / proposal with the project objectives. The total project was broken into three scopes (Design, Platform Development, and Testing/QA & Launch) with information that was included for each phase. Once a section was deemed to be complete by all parties, invoicing followed and the team transitioned to the next phase until complete.

Project management was led by one member of the team. Communication was clear and extremely responsive. The WebTheory team delivered items on time and schedules were maintained.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The WebTheory team was completely invested in the outcome of our project. They cared about the quality and presentation as much as we did. The content and delivery of creating a lasting impression on our visitors was a priority. We never felt as if they were trying to take shortcuts or regurgitate material for the sake of speed.

Are there any areas for improvement or something WebTheory could have done differently?

The interactions between our organization and WebTheory were very good and it is difficult to come up with areas of improvement based on our experience. If I had to really nitpick and come up with one I would recommend having a static folder structure in place that could be referred to throughout the project that contained all of the assets. We were given a few links to shared folders but the location was unique based on who was sending the content. 

This wasn't really a problem since most of the items were in one of those folders but there were a few working design items early on that were in others.

This chatbot utilizes artificial intelligence to engage with our website visitors and provide instant support and information. I don't know a thing about websites and SEO. He has held guided the process to reclaim my domain name, rebrand, created a new site and took all of the pain and stress out of the project and handled things smoothly and confidently.

I am the owner of my own unique clothing and accessory shop.

WebTheory was hired to help me bring my shop from Etsy to my own page. They are working on building my shop on Shopify as well as creating an accompanying mobile app.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I searched online for a web developer for a while and stumbled across their add. I was very pleased at how professionally all of the intro conversations went and how efficient and prompt they were. I knew I needed to trust WebTheory with my project.

We had an initial kick-off meeting to discuss my project and the vision I had for it. Once we agreed to work together, I was able to deliver them all of the product photos and descriptions that I already had prepared.

The WebTheory team walked me through possible designs for the site and the app, and they did a great job explaining everything so that I understood exactly what to expect.

One, I worked with the project manager who is the main point of contact and she made sure to communicate with the dev and design team.

We mainly communicate through slack for daily updates and concerns. We also have weekly cadence calls through Google Meet to ensure everyone is on the same page.

The company is so professional and makes the process so easy. I never felt a sense of doubt with working with the WebTheory team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There have only been concerns about the responsiveness of the mobile web page, but the team was quick to adjust and fix the problem.
