They interpreted the mockups and created designs while working with us closely. Since then, their team worked on numerous smaller jobs to iterate on those designs as well as other design projects. We’re past the design phase, but webitlab contributes from time to time.

We’re happy with how webitlab interpreted our mockups. Their team worked hard and put in a good shift to get the project done. The app is running and it’s successful. The number of downloads grows all of the time, which is in big part to webitlab's designs. Anytime we needed a product with a short deadline, they came with the goods.

We communicated via Skype but mainly via Slack. Their team was responsive whenever we needed them. They ran through the tasks that we assigned well.

The webitlab team has good eyes for design. Their team was responsive and always looked to help us come up with a solution to any problems.

No, I can’t think of anything off of the top of my head.

What was the scope of their involvement?
We started by giving them a list of requirements for our new app. Then, they came up with the mockup screens, wireframes, and customer journeys. They walked hand-in-hand with our internal development team to come up with the final product. After the initial process of planning and implementation, we gave them feedback so they could make improvements as needed. Some we weren’t able to complete due to challenges that on our side, but they delivered everything we gave them as requested.

There were five developers because it’s a big platform and we were working on various components of the system and video integrations that needed to be on the final app. There were also two QAs

How did webitlab perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management is top-notch. They were well organized and had enough personnel to deliver whatever we asked of them on time. The only challenge we had was the time zone difference. It was sometimes late at night when we had discussions with them, so we had to readjust a bit.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They responded to our requests very fast. At times, we thought a change in a user flow or wireframe flow would cost us a lot of money, but luckily, it didn’t. They deliver in a timely manner.

No, there’s nothing I’d have them improve.

It’s important to scope whatever job or task you give them well before you engage them. Do your homework and research beforehand.

They are helping me a lot, we're a small agency with mostly backend developers, we don't know CSS/HTML and Figma. Basically they are helping us to sell our projects as everybody out there looks for the UI, if that's ugly you can have the best backend, nobody wants to use that.
Usually our process starts with the Figma Design and then we iterate on that, once that's signed off they are creating the HTML/CSS mockup for us which we can easily integrate into our system. We're thankfull for them, and knowing that there is a company behind that with multiple peaple keeps us feel safe, it's much better then working with freelanceers.
