We are a real estate company. We are building residential complexes in the western part of the country. The apartments we build are premium, our clients also having the possibility to customize and furnish their apartments.

What challenge were you trying to address with the webamboos?

We provide information to our clients in real time, of the stage in which their apartment is located (finished, installed doors, furnished, etc.). Also, new clients can see the available apartments as well as their position in the residential complex. Inside the platform, they have the option to make new requests related to their apartment. At that time, an agent of ours will contact them to confirm the information.

What was the scope of webamboos’ involvement?

They had total control over this project from the very beginning. They came up with sketches and graphics on how to implement the solution. We face new challenges from project to project and then we try to improve more and more together with their team. Of course, the clients are also different from one residential complex to another and then we have to adapt the software to the needs.

I mostly only talk to the project manager, but I had the opportunity to meet the whole team. I dont know who does it but there were 4 people assigned to this project.

They were recommended by a manager of mine. He worked with this team at the previous job where they also developed an mvp for a real estate company.

How much have you invested with them?

For the initial phase 35k-40k EUR. And after, each year, around 10k EUR. I think that at the moment there are over 70000 EUR

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The best proof is the feedback of our customers. They are very happy because they have a real-time view of what is happening with the apartment in which they invested all the money. From the information we have, we are the only local company that offers this service

How did the vendor perform from a project management standpoint?

We have access to a Trello board where we see what is being worked on and what the plan is for the next 2 weeks. This creates a transparency that helps us to plan things. Anyway, we receive weekly reports from them and in general they are very good in terms of communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They adapt very easily to new information that we share with them. At the beginning, Maxim was not very familiar with real estate and construction. But slowly I managed to make him think and as a builder while planning the requirements for our app. I'm sure it was a big effort for him, but he succeeded and I really appreciate that

Are there any areas they could improve?

From the very beginning we did not know what we would develop in the software in the long run. For this reason, there were some situations in which many changes were needed in order to achieve what we want. The good part was that they never said they wouldn't do it and they always found solutions

Clinica Auto is a warehouse that stores car parts. We sell our products throughout Italy through various online platforms.

What challenge were you trying to address with the vendor?

Because we work with many platforms, we needed a tool to be able to concentrate all the information in one place. We also need to synchronize our stocks everywhere.

In addition, we need a very good view of financial data: the value of the parts we own, the value of parts sold and frozen on other platforms, the value of parts sold in different periods of time, etc.

Having all the staff in the field, we needed a solution not only web, but also a mobile application to be able to easily check at any time what part was bought and where it should be delivered

What was the scope of their involvement?

For the most part, based on the list of functionalities made by our team, we needed the webamboos team to develop an overall application, to come up with solutions on how to implement something that works quickly and easily to use even by members who they have no technical knowledge.

We had several sessions in which we revised their concept, finally obtaining together the platform that corresponded to all our needs.

How did you come to work with the vendor?

A few years ago we were looking for an agency to develop a tool for warehouse management. We found them online and although they were a small team at the time, they inspired our trust and we collaborated very well with them. Throughout this period I kept in touch for small updates.

Now having a much greater experience, they were the ones who came up with the idea of developing a new platform that will include the tool for warehouse management, but also the concentration of all platforms in one.

5000 EUR for the previous tool almost 30000 EUR for the current tool (platform)

What is the status of this engagement?

We have been using the platform for a few months and everything is going well. Small changes were needed which were made immediately. My team is satisfied with this tool, with the help of this tool, only last month I registered a productivity increase of 10-12%. Using the tool more we expect productivity to increase up to 30%.

How did the vendor perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything was organized very well, at least from our perspective. It was important for us that the tool be delivered on the agreed date. As long as it was delivered on time, we consider that the management was done correctly.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We have no experience with other agencies. But we are very satisfied with the results obtained. I would gladly recommend it to anyone.

Everything was perfect.

TeileAuto is a used and original car parts store. We sell products since 2008 being one of the most important on the market in the area.

We searched the market for a solution that can be customized with our current store that can keep track of parts in stock and where they are in stock. As our warehouse is large, it is very difficult to find a certain part for a certain car.

That's why we turned to an agency to develop a solution tailored to our needs.

Their main goal was to develop an application, accessible both on the laptop and on the phone or any other device, to help staff find the necessary part. The online store was also developed by them.

During the whole project we talked to Maxim and their designer. But I guess they also had a development team behind them that we didn't interact with at all

I have known Maxim's father for many years. In a discussion about business, he told me that Maxim could help me keep track of everything we have in the warehouse much easier. Then we asked for his contact details, after which Maxim came up with some potential application solutions for our warehouse.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

At this point, everyone on the team knows what product and where it is in the warehouse so team leaders are no longer so involved in finding and storing parts. The process of receiving and entering stocks has become fast thanks to them. Statistics on missing products help us a lot to properly monitor stocks.

How did the vendor perform from a project management standpoint?

Our requirement from the beginning was that after each implementation of functionality to make a call to show us how to use and then we to give our confirmation. There were cases in which certain details were omitted, but they were receptive and everything was corrected in a short time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We are a car parts company, so the terminology related to applications is far from us. That's why we liked that everyone on their team tried to explain things to us in our own way and each time they presented us with both benefits and disadvantages. It probably took a long time to come up with an answer, so we thank them for their patience

Are there any areas they could improve?

Give us a little more time to understand the technical aspects. Many times we ask them to take it easier because we need to discuss internally how to implement this application. It took us longer because I had to consult with both my team and a friend who had a better understanding of how applications work.

consumables and the reception of raw materials from suppliers. I needed to have control of these supplies so I could know at any time when we could start a new project as well as possible hiring

Being a technical person, I was able to outline what we need. However, to better understand, Maxim (the owner of the company) came to our office for a few days in which we presented our entire process. Before starting the product development, they presented us with the concept, which was very well defined and included everything we needed, even some new features that we did not consider at first.

I don't know who worked on this project. I interacted with the owner of the company, in the beginning phase, after which the project manager took care of the whole project.

Considering that I had to reveal many internal secrets of the company, I did not want to work with strangers. That's why I looked for recommendations. Maxim was recommended to us by a friend who also developed some application with them.

I still can't say the exact impact of this product because we only used it for a few weeks, during which time we mostly set up everything that was needed. Expectations are very high. We expect this tool to save us tens of hours a month. As well as having control over long-term planning, which was impossible until now

We worked with their project manager who kept us up to date, asking weekly questions to clarify certain issues. We liked that they always came up with ideas and examples on how to implement certain functionalities

What did you find most impressive about them?
Communication. I received a notification from them almost every day. It could be a question or a status update. From the beginning of the project we established a fast communication channel where when we had some questions we could very simply ask them. I think they are a reliable company.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I would advise him to try to detect the biggest challenges of the project from the beginning and to find solutions throughout the development.

webamboos’ overall communication was good, and they were responsive even after hours. When we reported some bugs, the team fixed them and gave us feedback.

I really appreciated their communication, which is why I will most likely work with them again. It was a small project, so I don’t know if they will perform at the same level on a larger project.

Their QA could’ve been better, which is something that I’ve seen in most projects.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The team at webamboos developed a personal fitness mobile app for one of our clients. Key features include a personalized calorie and fat tracker, which then gives personalized workouts to be done at home.

The app was developed on React Native for Android and iOS. The frontend was designed by us.

We’re working with three developers for iOS, Android, and the backend.

We started working on the project in October 2019, and it’s near the finishing line.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We wanted the project to be completed in the budget, which webamboos managed to do. It was delayed a bit, but that’s fine because we didn’t overrun the budget. They delivered well, but they took more time than planned. That was the only downside. Effectively, webamboos delivered the project as we expected.

How did webamboos perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve done well, but I think they could’ve planned it a little better. They underestimated a few features, which then resulted in more effort, causing delays on the project. The team realized that they hadn’t estimated those features properly, and they were honest about it and worked through it.

We communicate through Slack and Zoom. We also have a common knowledge repository and sprint management system.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Being a small team, they’re more responsive to what we want to do, and generally more open to any ideas or suggestions we bring. That’s what we like most about them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could’ve taken more time to estimate things properly. They should’ve communicated it better if they were unclear about a feature, and planned for the unknowns in the project.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Clients should ask webamboos to explain the estimates properly and go through a round of discussions with them if there’s something they haven’t understand properly.
