The Wawandco team provided a wide variety of assitance to bring our product to life. From the start, the communication was super clear, and the tasks we outlined were well thought through and defined. We intially mocked up a protype and instantly began development. 
The team was always thinking ahead, and finding solutions to problems we didn't even know existed. The flexibility of the team was also very comforting as we sped up/slowed down deveopment based on the user feedback out team was receiving from our customers. I look forward to continuing our working relationship as we think long term about our business.

The Wawandco team was very punctual. There was never a doubt about our agreed timeline, and the team was super responsove when anything needed to be addressed or changed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The culture - what I value most is working with people with shared values. There was never a negative interaction with anyone on the team, and I always look forward to our meetings. I visited them on-site, and was blown away by the comradery and the collaboration amoungst the team. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Wawandco could have done differently?

Hard to say from my experience as I've never worked with another outside develpoment team. However, they were highly referred and a no brainer for me to choose them as a partner.

I'm the QA director of a software development company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Wawandco?

We needed support to build a mobile application for iOS and Android systems.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Wawandco has developed mobile apps for iOS and Android. The apps are for drivers and have various functionalities, including GPS and offline mode. Wawandco has also integrated the apps with other systems. The team has completed the apps' core part, and we continue to interact for maintenance services.

What is the team composition?

We've worked with two teams, one for iOS and one for Android development. Each team is integrated by four engineers. 

How did you come to work with Wawandco?

When I joined my company, Wawandco was already engaged in the project. Our previous CTO had a positive experience with Wawandco during a previous initiative.

What is the status of this engagement?

My company started working with Wawandco in March 2023, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Wawandco has delivered a private app, and their support has helped us save money. Wawandco delivers decent-quality work that meets our expectations. Wawandco performed well as a team.

How did Wawandco perform from a project management standpoint?

Wawandco delivers features on time and hasn't missed deadlines. The team documents all our features and initiatives, and we can look and check what the team is working on and for how much time at any time. We collaborate via Jira and Slack.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

I want to highlight Andres' (Engineering Manager). 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Wawandco has done an excellent job according to our requirements and the input we've provided them. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything Wawandco can improve on.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend documenting work, investing time in QA, and setting up the process from the beginning of the initiative.

I’m the solo marketer at a software company. We’re a small startup company in the events space offering hotel booking technology.

What challenge were you trying to address with Wawandco?
We needed a company that could refresh our brand and website. We wanted our brand to present us as a forward, best-in-class technology company.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?
Wawandco has been a big help with our website design and branding work. They design and create our marketing and branding assets using Figma and Canva and help us with the backend of our website, graphic design, and the CMS that we use through HubSpot. They’re currently working on rehauling our website’s homepage.

What is the team composition?
I work with two people from Wawandco: a graphic designer and a web designer.

How did you come to work with Wawandco?
Our company has been working with Wawandco even before I joined them in March 2023.
Antonio (Founder) and our CTO and co-founder go way back — they worked together at the last company I worked at and stayed in contact.

What is the status of this engagement?
We’re still working together.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Wawandco delivers high-quality work. We measure success with how prompt they are with their deliverables and the quality of their work combined. I’ve worked with other designers in the past who missed deadlines and were hard to get a hold of, so knowing I can count on Wawandco to deliver quality work on time has been great.

How did Wawandco perform from a project management standpoint?
Wawandco has performed well in terms of project management. They deliver on time, if not ahead of schedule, especially with their graphic design work. Our website revamp project involves more iterative back and forth, so that will be a longer project.

We primarily communicate through Slack. I also work with the graphic designer through Jira, where I send and track the progress of our projects. Overall, they’re always responsive, and I have a great rapport and working relationship with them.

What did you find most impressive about them?
I appreciate how well Wawandco is in tune with what we believe our brand should look and feel like. They adhere to our brand guidelines, but they’re also able to be creative and think outside the box when I need them to. They always come back with great ideas and keep everything consistent with our brand, so I never worry about things not aligning with our brand guidelines.

Our collaboration is very flexible and straightforward, which works incredibly well for me. The folks I work with have been great and very helpful. They always go above and beyond to accommodate my requests, even when I drop something at the last minute. Their excellent communication, timeliness, and quality of work make for a great partnership.

Overall, I love working with them, and I have nothing but positive things to say about them.

Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I don't think there’s anything they could improve. They’ve been great to work with and go above and beyond for us. I really appreciate the work they do for us.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Make sure to leverage their great communication skills. If you need something in a pinch, just give them a heads-up, and they're usually able to accommodate it. They're always there for you.

The Wawandco team was responsible for the product design and development of a major enterprise application that was responsible for booking hotel rooms for hundreds of thousands of guests per year. The team built and launched the initial MVP version of the software and then helped to scale it to dozens of customers over a short period of time.

The most important measurable outcome was our ability to move hundreds of thousands of reservations that were being made in a competitor system over to our platform and we continue to do so.

The Wawandco team came with built in project management, which was very nice. They were always transparent about statuses of various projects and on the rare occasion when a project was taking longer than expected it was never a surprise and any relevant tradeoffs were surfaced in a timely manner.

The people. The people are great to work with. They are smart but most importantly have great integrity. Wawandco has assembled an amazing team for this project.

WWCO was an integral resource in the development of our product. Our lead developer was an amazing resource who was a key collaborator and mentor to WWCO and in-house developers. Throughout my time working with the team as a designer, I was able to reliably support our production customers to retain enterprise clients and also build new functionality in a tech environment that was poorly architected. 

On top of that, the designers I worked with designed a modern and usable interface that outshined other products at my org.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Due to the collaboration with their developers and designers, our team was able to create a product from scratch in an impressive amount of time and build a usable product that continues to bring in over 4M in ARR for our company.

They continued to deliver high-quality work on time, despite the high expectations of management at my company. Their quick development also enabled our team to iterate and continuously improve the product we were putting out to our clients.

We have used Wawandco resources for many projects including SAP/Concur where they built a solution that tracked mileage and compliance using Native IOS/swift and native android,GO and java script. and This solution has been used by over three thousand fortune 4000 companies.

WeWorked with Wawandco on many projects over the years. When you are working on large projects you need to make sure you have the right team and culture fit with your outsource team and your internal team. large projects.we started with prototypes, designing, the architecture. The infrastructure, product methodology and clear goals to MVP and beyond. 

Wawandco was flexible on payment and we were able to build fixed bid projects and hourly maintenance projects. This made sure the project manager expectations was aligned with theStakeholders and investor expectations

Overall they were always delivering on time. If we felt like we were not going to make a critical deadline we would work together and in most situations Wawandco add additional hours or resources to meet the deadline
