Wanted Agency

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m a creative engineer at a stock photography company. We have an online platform, and I’m in charge of the copywriting department and curating some of our creative projects.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Wanted Agency?

We wanted to completely redesign our blog.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, we chose and theme for the new blog and provided them with it and some requirements. From there, they created the blog and implemented customized content that reflected our requests. Following that initial build, there were many small adjustments to incorporate. However, we reached our end goal pretty quickly.

We also worked with them on an annual project showcasing photo trends. Our team was having difficulties transferring the files to our servers. After taking it on, they quickly reassembled the project. Our site is WordPress-based, but there were many technical requirements that came into play while transferring the project. Their work involved HTML coding.

What is the team composition?

Their entire team has about 30 people, but I’m just in touch with Alex (Digital Strategist), who manages the project.

How did you come to work with Wanted Agency?

A trusted colleague of mine recommended them to me. There were other agencies that we were considering, but I was compelled to hire them based on the strength of the recommendation I received.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent under $5,000 on their services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in May 2019, and our collaboration is ongoing. They’re my go-to team for blog adjustments, and I plan on using them for other creative projects in the future.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

In each of our projects, they’ve delivered a fully-functioning, impressive product. They’re able to take on large projects, but they put just as much effort in for the smaller projects as well. Everything was completed on time and at a high level of quality.

How did Wanted Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

They were punctual, communicative, and quick to make the changes that we requested throughout the project. Our project manager frequently sent updates, and I appreciated having a single point of contact. That way, I didn’t have to worry about communication between team members.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They gave great advice to push the quality of the project past our original plans. That’s allowed us to improve the product and process.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t have anything critical to contribute. We enjoy working with them and plan to continue doing so in the future.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It’s important to have as detailed a brief as possible. The better your brief, the more accurate they can be on budgeting and project planning.
