We hired Rajan and his team to create an Android app that allows offline play.

What were your goals for this project?

Stay within budget, have the app prototype done within 2 months from start of project.

How did you select this vendor?

We chose Rajan through an app called Fiverr. We had other IT companies submit a proposal but, we were more comfortable dealing with Rajan and his team.

We used timelines to help us with projections; make necessary adjustments if needed. Rajan was very good in communicating certain aspects that if not resolved, could derail the project. We had nightly, weekly online calls. This helped in ensuring that nothing was lost in translation (what's written on email is not always the same when read by a different person sometimes).

We specifically dealt with Rajan.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Within 2 months, we received the prototype. This helped us in deciding the changes that needed to be made. Rajan's team was very flexible in dealing with the said changes; helped us to stay within a budget or at least not go over 100 percent of the original estimated cost.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We agreed on timelines and project phase approach. Very straight forward.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

What impressed me the most is how quick their team reacts to changes that need to be made. If something is not working, within an hour or two, it is fixed.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Any project will have problems but from what I experienced working with Rajan, problems were at best, minor. The time difference between India and Canada was a bit of an issue but we went past that. Hoping they worked pacific standard but really, a small issue.

We’re a software services company providing solutions for issues we identify on the market.

What challenge were you trying to address with vRajan Infotech?

We outsourced part of our mobile app development to them.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They’ve developed an online reporting app for both Android and iOS. It’s used by the public to report issues pertaining to their local authorities, with a backend dashboard that allows different authorities to manage the reported incidents. The app uses geolocation, with geofencing dashboards on the backend and a range of account types. It allows different authorities to access different information.

What is the team composition?

They’ve always kept to our delivery deadlines, so we haven’t been very concerned with how many people they assign to our projects. We have worked with two project managers or leads on the two different projects, but we haven’t communicated directly with the developers.

How did you come to work with vRajan Infotech?

We originally found them online and gave them a small project that they delivered well, so we gave them a few more projects after that.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve done $10,000 of work with them—they’re not the cheapest, but they’re not the most expensive in the market either.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them around two years ago, and the collaboration is ongoing with a new contract.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our app is available on both app stores, and we can read feedback from the public there. Reporting rates are increasing, and we’re hoping it will become mainstream in 6–8 months. We have 5,000–6,000 users at the moment and the weekly downloads are going up continuously.

How did vRajan Infotech perform from a project management standpoint?

We handle backend management locally and leave the development and design aspects to vRajan. I don’t get involved with their internal project management, but we’re happy with what they delivered. They’re also alright when it comes to bug fixing.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have good listening skills and respond quickly to our messages, no matter how small. I will continue working with them and have also recommended them to others.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could add a design dimension to their UI/UX team as it’s very difficult to completely outsource only the development of the apps.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

It’s important to discuss the overall project in the beginning. They may be an initial language barrier, but it’ll be solved once the client gets to know them.

I’m the CEO and founder of a communications app.

What challenge were you trying to address with vRajan Infotech?

I started the company from scratch and got to the point where it required experts to work on the project.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed an iOS and Android app as well as a web app. It’s a calling system for placing phone calls. vRajan Infotech created the whole chat functionality for the applications, building out its structure, backend, database, and network. Their team basically developed everything and my job was just to manage the project.

What is the team composition?

I worked with three people, which included their head of Android development, the head of iOS development, and the head of backend programming. Their iOS lead managed the project as well.

How did you come to work with vRajan Infotech?

I contacted many companies all around the world and there were a lot of scammers. I discussed the project with vRajan Infotech and not only did they get to the point but were also very professional.

We started working together in March 2015, and our collaboration is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It was a very good experience and I started to see results immediately. vRajan Infotech has experts in Android, iOS, and backend development. We plan on always working with them since they’re such amazing people.

How did vRajan Infotech perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management was amazing—they were 95% on schedule. When research was required, there was a small delay, but it wasn’t too much. vRajan Infotech provided screenshots and videos of what they had developed every day, which is how I tracked the progress of the development. I was the only one in direct communication with them and I handled most of the beta testing.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most amazing thing about vRajan Infotech is that if they don’t know something specific, they’ll find a solution and do things even better than expected. The whole experience was amazing. They’re a very capable team that has truly done their homework.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing they need to improve. The experience of working with them is getting better and better. I’ll be starting another three projects with vRajan Infotech soon.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend using vRajan Infotech. Clients will be pleased with them since they’re capable of handling anything.

We are an Endustrial advertising company and we also invest in projects for mobile devices. I am the ceo of the company and member of the investing comitee.

For what projects/services did your company hire vRajan Infotech?

We have hired Rajan for one of the mobile aplication software which was complicated and it has map, service center locations, facilities and machinary information in those. Places, adertising based on geo location of the user, cominication in the app, navigation by the app, etc. Also Rajan managed the app to be listed in ios and android markets. Rajan did a great job on the backend software too. With our customiseable backend software we can control our app easyly. Rajan was so helpfull and full of knowladge on software to make all our wishes come true.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goals were from zero to full working app with multiple admins on the backend to serve industrial customers on a profesional level. Rajan did all these complicted tasks in very positive and profeshional level.

How did you select this vendor?

We have searched and made alot of online and face to face meetings with alot of domestic and long distance service providers. After many long evaluations, we were lucky to chose Rajan.

We gave full breding and Rajan design the app. Screens, intehrations. After written samples Rajan made a sample and after approval he started and gave us the first test app. After testing and determining the additions and changes Rajan gave us the second test app. All was ok and we started the final version. After final version aproved Rajan organised the releases on markets.

Our app was finished on time, and we're happy with how it has performed.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

My self and Rajan was cominicating all alo g the project and that made eveeything easier. I personaly believe that Including more people makes it complicated and takes more time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Personally i found Rajan very impresdive, motivated, honest, open hearted and a good man.
