Please describe your company and position.
I am the Founder of Payzim
Describe what your company does in a single sentence.
Global Payments Simplified - A comprehensive solution for multinational companies seeking to manage global payments with maximum efficiency and security. Payzim is a fintech startup on a mission to transform the way organizations manage and execute payments related to payroll, benefits, and financial wellbeing. Payzim is the first global orchestration platform for Earned Wage Access (EWA), expense reimbursements, and payroll payments, offering a unified infrastructure that connects employers, employees, payment providers, and financial institutions—seamlessly, securely, and in real time.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What specific goals or objectives did you hire Virtuous Techlogic to accomplish?
Our main objective was to build a working fintech prototype that would allow us to test our business model and user experience without committing immediately to the cost of a completely custom application. We wanted to validate the core product flows, understand how users would interact with the platform, and establish the technical foundation required for payment-related functionality. At the same time, we wanted the prototype to follow a sensible security architecture rather than becoming a temporary solution that would have to be discarded later. Another important goal was to protect sensitive credentials and financial logic from being exposed through the mobile client. We wanted a clear distinction between what the application displayed to users and what happened securely behind the scenes. Virtuous Techlogic understood that we were trying to move quickly, but they also understood that fintech is an area where certain shortcuts can create problems later. Their approach was to identify those areas early and design around them.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
The scope included the FlutterFlow mobile client, custom Flutter components, secure Node.js microservices, payment integration, API security, authentication, protected API communication, and secure handling of sensitive application logic. The team first established the mobile interface and user navigation in FlutterFlow. This covered the visual structure of the product and allowed us to iterate on the user journey without waiting for every backend component to be completed. As we moved into more sensitive functionality, they deliberately separated those responsibilities from the FlutterFlow client. Financial calculations, API key management, encryption, and other sensitive operations were handled through custom backend services and Flutter components. One example that gave us confidence was their approach to private API keys and dynamic secrets. Rather than embedding those credentials into the mobile application, they used AWS Secrets Manager to manage sensitive secrets and routed protected communication through authenticated backend proxy routes. This meant the mobile client could request the functionality it needed without having direct access to private credentials. It was a much cleaner architecture for what we were building. They also paid attention to the requirements associated with payment functionality, PCI-DSS considerations, and Apple's App Store review requirements for financial applications. The important point for us was not simply checking boxes, but understanding how those requirements affected the actual architecture.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The project gave us a functional fintech prototype and a much clearer technical foundation for validating the business model. One of the biggest outcomes was being able to use FlutterFlow for rapid product development without making it responsible for sensitive financial operations. We could iterate on the interface and user experience quickly while keeping critical functionality within controlled backend services. The resulting architecture also gave us a clearer separation between the presentation layer and transaction execution. Private API keys and dynamic secrets were kept away from the mobile client, while backend services handled protected communication and sensitive operations. From a business perspective, this allowed us to explore and test the product concept without immediately taking on the full cost and development timeline of a completely custom mobile application. It also gave us greater confidence that the prototype was not simply a demonstration interface. There was a proper technical structure behind the important parts of the product, which gives us a stronger foundation for future development.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
The project management was another part of the engagement that we appreciated. Because we were working with a hybrid development approach, there were several points where we had to decide whether a particular feature should remain in FlutterFlow or move into custom development. The team was good at explaining those decisions in practical terms. Instead of simply telling us that something was technically possible, they would explain the implications of implementing it one way versus another. There were also situations where our initial thinking was focused on getting a feature working quickly, while the technical team pointed out potential security or maintenance concerns. Those conversations helped us make better decisions instead of simply optimizing for the fastest initial implementation. That was particularly useful because we were developing a product at an early stage and needed to balance budget, speed, user experience, and technical reliability.
What was your primary form of communication with Virtuous Techlogic?
Virtual Meeting
Email or Messaging App
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What impressed us most was their ability to combine speed with technical discipline. We went into the project thinking that we might have to choose between the convenience of FlutterFlow and the security requirements of a fintech product. Virtuous Techlogic showed us that the choice was not necessarily either-or. They were comfortable using low-code where it provided a genuine advantage, but they also knew when to step outside the platform and write custom code. That distinction made a significant difference. I particularly appreciated that they did not try to force every requirement into FlutterFlow simply because we had chosen it for the project. When a feature required stronger validation, more complex processing, or additional security controls, they treated custom development as the appropriate solution. That made the engagement feel like we were working with engineers who were thinking about the product as a whole rather than simply completing individual development tasks.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Virtuous Techlogic could have done differently?
There were no major issues from our side. The only area I would mention is that some of the technical discussions could become fairly detailed, particularly when we were discussing security architecture, payment flows, API protection, and the boundaries between FlutterFlow and custom development. For a fintech product, though, I consider that more of a characteristic of the project than a real weakness. These are areas where we wanted the team to be thorough. If anything, future engagements could benefit from making some of those technical decisions even more visual and accessible to non-technical stakeholders through architecture diagrams or simplified documentation. That would make it easier for business stakeholders to follow the reasoning behind certain implementation decisions. Overall, Virtuous Techlogic gave us a practical way to move quickly without treating security as an afterthought. The combination of FlutterFlow for rapid execution, custom Flutter development where necessary, and secure Node.js backend services gave us a strong approach for testing our fintech concept while keeping sensitive functionality properly controlled.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What specific goals or objectives did you hire Virtuous Techlogic to accomplish?
Our biggest objective was to replace a loan application process that depended too heavily on email, manual document collection, and repeated follow-ups. Borrowers were submitting documents through different channels, while our internal team had to manually keep track of what had been received and what was still missing. We wanted a centralized digital experience where borrowers could complete their applications, submit identity documents, see where they stood in the process, and receive updates without constantly contacting our team. At the same time, our underwriting team needed a controlled internal environment for reviewing applications and making decisions. A second major objective was strengthening our compliance infrastructure. Because identity verification, KYC/AML requirements, document security, and auditability are important parts of our operation, we needed the technology to support those requirements from the beginning rather than adding compliance features after the product was already built.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
The scope started with the customer-facing loan application experience. Virtuous Techlogic built a mobile application that allows borrowers to submit their applications, upload identity verification documents, monitor application progress, and receive real-time push notifications. This gave borrowers a much clearer understanding of what was happening with their application. On the internal side, they developed a web-based management portal for our underwriting team. Underwriters can review submitted information, verify identity documentation, identify missing information, and record approval decisions from one centralized interface. This replaced a lot of the back-and-forth that previously happened through email and disconnected processes. Identity verification was another important part of the engagement. Virtuous Techlogic integrated services such as Onfido and Persona APIs, including liveness detection, so identity checks could be handled as part of the application workflow instead of requiring our team to manually perform every verification step. Security was also treated as a core requirement. Uploaded documents are stored in restricted S3 buckets with encryption through customer-managed keys using SSE-KMS. The system also maintains immutable audit logs covering important underwriting activity, including document and application access and decision-making activity. They also designed the workflow around our KYC/AML and SOC 2 requirements. Rather than simply giving us an application that collected information, the system creates a traceable process around how that information moves through the organization and how underwriting actions are recorded.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The clearest operational improvement was the reduction in manual work involved in processing loan applications. The automated workflow removed several repetitive steps around document collection, identity verification, application follow-ups, and underwriting records. Our internal loan processing time was brought down to nearly half of what it had been under the previous workflow. More importantly, the improvement was not achieved by sacrificing control. Our underwriting team gained a more structured way to see application information, identify missing data, and record decisions. The audit trail has also made compliance reviews much easier. We can trace important activity within the underwriting workflow rather than relying on scattered emails or manually maintained records. This has given our compliance team significantly more confidence in how application information and underwriting decisions are handled. From the borrower side, the experience is also much more transparent. Applicants can upload their documents through a defined process, receive status updates, and know when action is required from them instead of repeatedly contacting our team for updates.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Project management was one of the areas that made the engagement easier for us. Lending workflows can become complicated quickly because there are customer-facing requirements, underwriting processes, security considerations, and compliance requirements all interacting with each other. Virtuous Techlogic did a good job of breaking those requirements into practical development tasks. When we discussed a requirement, they were generally able to translate it into a technical workflow and explain how it would affect the rest of the system. That was particularly useful when we were discussing identity verification and audit trails because those features could not be treated as isolated integrations. Communication was also consistent throughout the project. We had visibility into what was being worked on, what required clarification, and what needed testing. Instead of waiting until the end to discover that something did not fit our internal process, we were able to review the work along the way and provide feedback.
What was your primary form of communication with Virtuous Techlogic?
Virtual Meeting

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What impressed me most was that Virtuous Techlogic understood that we were not simply building a loan application. There was a larger operational and compliance workflow behind the product, and they paid attention to that. I also appreciated the way they approached security and auditability. Features such as restricted document storage, encryption, liveness detection, and immutable audit logs were not treated as secondary technical details. They were incorporated into the overall architecture of the system. Another thing that stood out was their ability to connect the customer experience with the internal workflow. The borrower application and the underwriting portal feel like parts of the same process rather than two unrelated products. That was important for us because improvements on one side needed to translate into improvements for the team on the other side.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Virtuous Techlogic could have done differently?
There were a few points where the project could have moved faster, particularly when requirements around compliance and integrations needed additional clarification. Some of these discussions naturally took time because we were dealing with sensitive financial information and processes that needed to be carefully defined. I would also have liked even more visibility into some of the technical milestones earlier in the process. Having that information sooner would have made it easier for our internal stakeholders to prepare for testing and operational changes. That said, these were relatively minor compared with the overall experience. Virtuous Techlogic was responsive when we raised concerns, and they were willing to adjust the implementation based on our feedback. The final system addressed the core problems we brought them in to solve and has given us a much more structured foundation for scaling our lending workflow.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What specific goals or objectives did you hire Virtuous Techlogic to accomplish?
Our primary objective was to create reliable payment infrastructure that could support the FacePOS ecosystem without introducing unnecessary complexity for either merchants or our internal team. We wanted the wallet to provide a dependable transaction experience while giving merchants clear visibility into balances, settlements, and payment activity. At the same time, our backend team needed a ledger and reporting system that would make financial reconciliation straightforward instead of forcing people to manually piece together transaction information. Another major objective was security. Financial applications cannot afford to treat sensitive data and API communication casually. We wanted the architecture to minimize exposure of card information, protect transaction histories, secure communication between services, and give us confidence that the system could operate reliably as the platform developed.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
The scope was broader than simply creating a mobile wallet. Virtuous Techlogic developed the cross-platform wallet experience and the backend services supporting payment processing and transaction management. They handled our payment gateway connections, merchant settlement screens, transaction flows, and internal administration dashboard. The merchant ledger was particularly important because it gave us a structured way to track financial activity and reconcile transactions instead of relying on disconnected records. The team also developed the financial reporting web portal, giving our internal team better visibility into transaction histories and operational information. This became an important part of our day-to-day backend workflow because our team could investigate payment activity and reconcile records without having to manually trace information across multiple systems. Security was incorporated throughout the implementation. Card capture was offloaded to tokenized payment SDK/webview mechanisms, including Stripe/Plaid-related flows, so that PAN data would not directly touch or remain on our application servers. API endpoints were protected using mutual TLS communication, and transaction histories were protected using row-level encryption at the database level.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The clearest outcome for us has been the operational reliability of the platform. Since launch, we have experienced zero critical system downtime, which is particularly meaningful for a payment application where availability directly affects users and merchants. Transaction reconciliation has also become considerably more straightforward for our backend team. The merchant ledger and reporting infrastructure provide a clearer view of transaction activity, settlements, and financial records, reducing the amount of manual investigation required when reviewing payment activity. From the application side, the wallet and payment flows operate smoothly, while the security architecture gives us a stronger foundation for handling sensitive financial operations. We now have a system that is functional from the user's perspective and manageable from the operational and engineering side.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Project management was one of the areas where I saw a noticeable difference in the way Virtuous Techlogic operated. They broke a complex financial application into manageable development areas and kept the discussions focused on what needed to be completed, what was dependent on another component, and what could potentially affect the delivery schedule. Communication was consistent throughout the project. When there were technical decisions that could affect functionality or timing, they brought them to our attention instead of making assumptions and moving ahead silently. This was particularly useful for a project like ours because some technical decisions had implications for payment processing, security, reporting, and the merchant experience. They also handled changes in a structured way. Rather than allowing every new requirement or external dependency to disrupt the entire development plan, the team assessed the impact, discussed the priority with us, and adjusted the work accordingly. That gave us better visibility into the project and made it easier to make business decisions when priorities changed.
What was your primary form of communication with Virtuous Techlogic?
Virtual Meeting

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What impressed me most was the combination of technical capability and project discipline. It is one thing for a development team to understand payment technology, but it is another to manage the dependencies, unexpected changes, security requirements, and business priorities that come with delivering a financial platform. I also appreciated that they did not wait until the end of a sprint to tell us about problems. When something required attention, we were brought into the conversation early enough to understand the situation and make decisions where necessary. Their response to the third-party API change was probably the clearest example. They took ownership of the technical problem, communicated its impact, adjusted the work, and continued progressing toward the wider project objectives. That level of accountability made the engagement much easier to manage from our side.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Virtuous Techlogic could have done differently?
There were moments during the project when the technical depth of the work meant that discussions could become quite detailed, particularly around payment integrations, security requirements, and backend architecture. For a business stakeholder, some of those conversations required additional explanation before the wider implications were clear. I think Virtuous Techlogic could make some of those updates even more efficient by providing shorter executive-level summaries alongside the technical discussions. That would allow business stakeholders to quickly understand the current status, key risks, decisions required, and next steps without going through all of the underlying technical detail. That said, this was more about improving an already structured process than addressing a major delivery problem. The team was responsive when clarification was needed, and the communication around important project decisions remained consistent.

Our main goal was to create an innovative mobile shopping experience that would modernize how customers discover and purchase Italian fashion. We wanted personalization to be at the heart of the experience. Rather than making customers endlessly scroll through a large catalog, we wanted the app to learn from their browsing behavior and style preferences and intelligently surface products that would genuinely interest them. In our minds, the ideal experience was similar to having a personal stylist who understands your taste and continuously introduces you to pieces and brands that fit your individual style.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
The scope was extensive. Virtuous Techlogic was responsible for the entire mobile app lifecycle, from the initial design and development through deployment. The main deliverables included a fully functional Flutter application for both iOS and Android, a sophisticated AI engine capable of recommending products based on user browsing history and style preferences, and a robust API system that synchronized our inventory in real time. The inventory integration was particularly important for us as a retailer. We needed the app to accurately reflect what was actually available so that customers wouldn't have the frustrating experience of ordering an item that was already out of stock. The AI component was also one of the more challenging aspects of the project. We had a fairly intuitive understanding of what "personalized Italian style" meant, but turning that idea into a functional algorithm required considerable technical thinking. Their AI engineers handled that challenge particularly well.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The app launched successfully, and the customer response has been overwhelmingly positive. We've seen a significant increase in user engagement, with customers spending more time browsing and exploring products through the app. The AI recommendation engine has been particularly successful. Customers frequently tell us that they are discovering new brands and products they wouldn't necessarily have found through traditional browsing. That's exactly what we wanted from the platform. We didn't want AI to feel like a gimmick; we wanted it to make fashion discovery genuinely better. The real-time inventory synchronization has also had a very noticeable impact. It has eliminated the frustration of customers selecting products that are no longer available, which has helped improve trust in the shopping experience. We've also seen a noticeable lift in our mobile conversion rates since launching the app.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Their project management was exceptional. We used a shared Slack channel for daily communication, which made it very easy to stay connected with the team. They were extremely responsive when we had questions, needed clarification, or wanted to make adjustments. We also received weekly progress reports, which gave us a consistent overview of the project's status. We never felt like the project disappeared into a black box where we had to wait weeks to find out what was happening. One example that stands out was when we wanted to adjust the user interface for our "Italian Style" filter. We felt the feature needed some refinement to better represent how customers think about Italian fashion. The Virtuous Techlogic team understood the change quickly and turned it around within just a few days without disrupting the overall timeline. That responsiveness made a big difference. All of the major milestones were delivered on time.
What was your primary form of communication with Virtuous Techlogic?

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The thing that impressed me most was their ability to combine technical expertise with a genuine understanding of our brand and aesthetic. They didn't just build an app and hand it over to us. They understood that this needed to be a digital extension of the Mi Italia experience. The AI engineers were particularly impressive. We sometimes described what we wanted in fairly subjective terms things like "style intuition" and understanding what a customer might like based on their taste. Those aren't straightforward technical requirements. Yet they were able to take those ideas and translate them into a functional recommendation system. That ability to bridge the gap between our fashion expertise and their technical expertise was one of the strongest aspects of the partnership.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Virtuous Techlogic could have done differently?
Honestly, it is difficult to identify a significant fault with the engagement. If I had to mention one area for improvement, the initial onboarding process took a little longer than I expected. During those early discussions, the team asked detailed questions about our product categories, inventory structure, customer behavior, brand voice, and the different ways our customers interpret Italian style. They also wanted to understand how we organize our catalog and what kinds of recommendations would feel genuinely relevant rather than simply algorithmically convenient. At the time, I was eager to see the development move into the execution phase, so the amount of discovery felt slightly slower than anticipated. However, in retrospect, I understand why that process was necessary. Virtuous Techlogic was being extremely thorough in learning how Mi Italia operates and what we wanted the app to represent. They were not relying on assumptions or trying to apply a generic fashion-commerce model to our business. That additional time ultimately paid off. Because they took the time to understand our inventory, brand identity, and customers properly, the final product felt much more aligned with Mi Italia. The recommendations were more relevant, the user experience reflected our aesthetic, and the app felt like a genuine extension of our brand. I would much rather have a development team invest extra time in understanding the business at the beginning than rush through onboarding and misunderstand the requirements later.

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and position.
I am the General Manager of RideMovi
Describe what your company does in a single sentence.
RideMovi is the leading player in the European micromobility sector and it is revolutionizing city transportation and empowering a new urban lifestyle. RideMovi provides an efficient and affordable solution to urban commuting. Our RideMovi App allows consumers to find, unlock, ride the preferred vehicle (Bike, Ebike, E-scooters, Mopeds) and park at any public parking space, providing them with a fun, efficient and sustainable way to move around the city. RideMovi contributes to reducing congestion, traffic and air pollution, improving the quality of life of the cities and their residents. Increasing the number of people who use micromobility as a service is an important step towards more sustainable and livable cities. With over 4 Million registered users, RideMovi is playing an important role in transforming urban mobility, providing a safer, healthier and greener environment for cities and their residents.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What specific goals or objectives did you hire Virtuous Techlogic to accomplish?
As RideMovi continued expanding our micromobility operations across multiple cities, we needed a stronger digital foundation for managing vehicles, users, and day-to-day operations at scale. While our business focuses on bikes, e-bikes, scooters, and mopeds, many of the operational challenges are very similar to those faced in ride-sharing and transportation services. We engaged Virtuous Techlogic to help us develop a comprehensive mobility platform that incorporated many of the capabilities commonly found in modern taxi app development and ride-sharing solutions. Our objectives included improving vehicle tracking, streamlining user journeys, enhancing payment experiences, providing better visibility into fleet activity, and creating administrative tools that would allow our operations teams to make faster decisions. Another important goal was creating a platform architecture that could accommodate future expansion without forcing us to continuously rebuild core systems.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
The engagement covered both strategic planning and technical implementation. Virtuous Techlogic worked closely with our internal stakeholders to understand how users interacted with our mobility services and how our operational teams managed thousands of vehicles across different locations. The discussions were not limited to technical requirements; they spent time understanding operational workflows and the practical realities of running a mobility business. The major deliverables included:
A customer-facing mobile application experience with vehicle discovery and trip management capabilities
GPS tracking functionality to improve visibility into vehicle locations and movements
Digital payment integration to simplify transactions for riders
Fare estimation and trip calculation features where applicable within the transportation workflows
Trip history functionality allowing users to review previous journeys
A driver/operator management environment adapted to support fleet operations
Fleet management tools for monitoring and overseeing vehicle activity
An administrative dashboard providing operational oversight, reporting capabilities, and management controls
Backend infrastructure and API development to support ongoing platform operations
One area that stood out was how they approached the admin dashboard.
Our operations teams regularly deal with real-world issues such as vehicle distribution, maintenance coordination, and service monitoring.
The dashboard evolved through multiple iterations based on feedback from our teams, which made the final product much more practical for everyday use.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The most meaningful outcomes were visible in our operational efficiency and user experience. We gained significantly better visibility into fleet activity through the GPS tracking and management tools. Operational teams could access information more quickly and spend less time switching between different systems. Users benefited from a smoother experience when locating vehicles, reviewing trip information, and completing payments. The availability of trip history and clearer ride information also reduced a number of support inquiries that previously required manual intervention. From a business perspective, we ended up with a platform that supported our day-to-day operations more effectively and provided a stronger foundation for future service expansion. The administrative tools gave management teams access to information that was previously more difficult to consolidate and analyze.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Project management was one of the stronger aspects of the engagement. The team maintained a structured process while remaining flexible when priorities changed. In a mobility business, requirements often evolve after seeing how real users interact with a feature, and we certainly had several moments where adjustments became necessary. They organized regular review meetings, provided visibility into development progress, and communicated potential risks early rather than waiting until issues became larger problems. Deliverables generally arrived according to the agreed schedule, and when timelines shifted because of additional requirements from our side, discussions were transparent and solution-oriented. I particularly appreciated that conversations focused on finding practical outcomes rather than defending initial assumptions. There were occasions where we challenged certain design decisions, and the Virtuous Techlogic team was willing to discuss alternatives and adapt when necessary.
What was your primary form of communication with Virtuous Techlogic?
Virtual Meeting

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The most impressive thing was their ability to understand transportation operations beyond simply building software. Many development firms can implement requested features, but Virtuous Techlogic consistently tried to understand why a feature mattered and how it would be used in a real operational environment. That led to better discussions and, in several cases, better solutions. Their experience with taxi app development, ride-sharing platforms, and fleet management projects was evident throughout the engagement. They were able to contribute ideas based on practical industry knowledge rather than acting solely as an execution partner. I also appreciated how accessible the team remained throughout the project. Even during more demanding phases, it never felt like communication had to go through unnecessary layers before reaching the people making decisions.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Virtuous Techlogic could have done differently?
If I had to identify one area for improvement, it would be providing even more detailed documentation earlier in certain phases of the project. As the platform grew in complexity, having some technical and operational documentation available sooner would have helped accelerate internal onboarding for some of our teams. That said, whenever we raised concerns or requested additional clarification, the team responded professionally and worked with us to address the issue. None of these points affected the overall success of the engagement, and I would be comfortable working with Virtuous Techlogic again on future mobility-related initiatives.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What specific goals or objectives did you hire Virtuous Techlogic to accomplish?
As part of our efforts to strengthen our digital travel offering, we hired Virtuous Techlogic to develop a travel and booking mobile application that would provide a seamless experience from destination discovery through reservation confirmation. We wanted an application that was intuitive for travelers while also giving our internal team the tools to efficiently manage bookings, travel packages, customer information, and operational workflows. Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
Virtuous Techlogic managed the project from discovery and technical planning through development, testing, and deployment preparation. They designed and developed a cross-platform Flutter application with destination browsing, detailed travel listings, traveler profiles, booking management, secure payment processing, booking confirmations, trip notifications, and account management features. On the backend, they built the business logic required to manage reservations, synchronize booking statuses, connect external travel APIs, and support administrative operations through a centralized dashboard. Their team also implemented AI-powered travel recommendations that personalize destination suggestions based on user interests and browsing behavior while improving search relevance. They paid close attention to user experience throughout the booking flow, making navigation simple while ensuring complex backend processes remained reliable. Before delivery, they performed thorough testing across different devices to ensure stability, performance, and a consistent user experience.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The completed platform successfully supports the full travel booking journey, allowing users to search destinations, review travel options, manage bookings, make secure payments, receive booking confirmations, and stay updated through notifications within a single application. The AI recommendation engine delivers more relevant travel suggestions, helping users discover destinations that match their interests and making the browsing experience feel much more personalized. From an operational perspective, our internal team now manages bookings, travel content, customer information, and booking statuses through one centralized admin dashboard instead of relying on multiple disconnected systems. The Flutter architecture also gave us a consistent experience across Android and iOS while simplifying future maintenance and feature expansion.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Their project management was organized and transparent from start to finish. We worked in planned development sprints with regular review meetings, progress updates, and milestone demonstrations, which made it easy for both technical and business stakeholders to stay aligned. They consistently communicated upcoming work, explained technical decisions in a way that was easy to understand, and quickly addressed any questions or change requests we raised. As the project evolved, we introduced several refinements to improve the customer booking experience and streamline internal workflows. Rather than treating these as obstacles, the Virtuous Techlogic team carefully evaluated each request, recommended practical solutions, and implemented the changes efficiently while keeping the project moving forward. Their responsiveness and willingness to collaborate made the entire development process feel smooth and well managed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What stood out most was their ability to understand both the technical and business sides of a travel platform. They weren't simply focused on delivering features—they invested time in understanding how travelers interact with booking systems and how our operations team manages reservations behind the scenes. Throughout the project they suggested improvements to user flows, booking confirmations, notification handling, and admin processes that genuinely improved the overall product. Their expertise across Flutter development, backend architecture, API integration, and AI development meant we didn't have to coordinate multiple vendors. Having one team that could handle the entire solution made communication easier and resulted in a well-integrated platform that feels reliable and scalable.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Virtuous Techlogic could have done differently?
Our experience was very positive, and the collaboration exceeded our expectations. If there is one area they could continue improving, it would be expanding the technical documentation provided during the final handover, particularly around future API extensions and AI recommendation configurations. That would make onboarding new internal developers even easier. Aside from that, they delivered a high-quality solution, communicated consistently, met our expectations throughout the engagement, and proved to be a dependable technology partner.

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and position.
I am the Head of Growth of a software company.
Describe what your company does in a single sentence.
We are a software company founded by Javi Fondevila and Bernat Ripoll in 2016 with the purpose of simplifying the management of small and medium-sized companies. They created a cloud-based management software to help entrepreneurs, SMEs and accountants become the best version of themselves, simplifying management tasks, so they can focus on their priorities as a business.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What specific goals or objectives did you hire Virtuous Techlogic to accomplish?
We engaged Virtuous Techlogic to support our agency on a municipal corporation software initiative that required enhancements and workflow customization within an existing recreation management system (RMS). The project involved adapting a third-party platform to align with the municipality's operational processes while maintaining the integrity of the existing software environment. Our primary objectives were to improve workflow efficiency, configure system functionality around municipal requirements, reduce manual administrative tasks, streamline user processes, support testing and deployment activities, and ensure the final implementation met the practical needs of municipal staff. Since the engagement was covered by NDA, the client and software platform cannot be publicly disclosed.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
The project centered on enhancing and customizing an existing recreation management platform used by a municipal organization. Unlike a greenfield software build, this assignment required working within the constraints of a third-party system while tailoring workflows to fit specific operational requirements. The scope included:
Discovery and requirements clarification sessions
Analysis of municipal workflows and administrative processes
RMS configuration updates and workflow customization
System enhancement recommendations
User experience and process optimization
Integration and configuration support
Testing and validation activities
Bug identification and issue resolution
Deployment assistance
Post-implementation support
Key deliverables included customized workflow configurations, improved administrative process flows, updated system settings, testing documentation, issue resolution logs, deployment support, and a finalized RMS environment aligned with municipal operational requirements. One notable challenge involved adapting approval and scheduling workflows that did not naturally fit within the RMS platform's native functionality. Virtuous Techlogic worked closely with stakeholders to create practical solutions that achieved the desired outcomes without compromising system stability.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The project produced several tangible outcomes that demonstrated success. Municipal staff were able to perform daily operational tasks through workflows that more closely reflected their actual business processes. Administrative procedures that previously required manual intervention became easier to manage within the system. The customized workflows improved consistency across departments and reduced confusion around approvals, scheduling, and activity management. The RMS implementation was delivered in a stable and usable state, with key operational requirements successfully accommodated within the platform's existing framework. User acceptance testing was completed successfully, and stakeholder feedback following deployment was positive regarding usability and workflow improvements. Most importantly, the municipality received a solution that aligned with its operational needs without requiring a costly replacement of the existing software platform.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Their project management was organized, collaborative, and highly responsive throughout the engagement. Communication was consistent, and they maintained clear visibility into progress, open items, and upcoming milestones. Because municipal projects often involve changing requirements and feedback from multiple stakeholders, flexibility was extremely important. Virtuous Techlogic handled these situations professionally and helped us navigate several rounds of revisions and workflow adjustments without disrupting overall progress. Deliverables were consistently completed according to agreed timelines, and whenever new requirements emerged, the team provided thoughtful recommendations and realistic implementation plans. Their responsiveness during testing and issue resolution phases was particularly valuable, as they addressed concerns quickly and worked closely with our team to validate solutions.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What stood out most was Virtuous Techlogic's ability to work effectively within the limitations of an existing third-party platform. Many development teams are comfortable building software from scratch, but this project required a different mindset. The team demonstrated a strong understanding of configuration-driven systems and showed creativity when solving workflow challenges that were constrained by the RMS platform. They invested time in understanding how municipal staff actually worked on a day-to-day basis rather than simply implementing technical requests. This practical approach resulted in solutions that were both technically sound and operationally useful. I was also impressed by their professionalism around confidentiality requirements. Since the engagement involved NDA restrictions and a public-sector end client, maintaining discretion was critical, and they handled that responsibility exceptionally well.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Virtuous Techlogic could have done differently?
we were very satisfied with the engagement and the outcome delivered. If there is one area that could be strengthened further, it would be providing additional user training materials earlier in the implementation process. While they supported training and knowledge transfer effectively, having more end-user documentation available during testing could have accelerated onboarding for some stakeholders. That said, this was a relatively minor observation within an otherwise successful project. Virtuous Techlogic performed as a reliable technology partner throughout the engagement, and we would confidently work with them again on future municipal software, enterprise workflow, and system customization initiatives.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
The project covered multiple workstreams that were interconnected across our product ecosystem. One of the major deliverables was a Flutter-based mobile application that allowed HR teams and employees to access important functions through a modern and consistent mobile experience. The application was designed to work efficiently across Android and iOS from a single codebase while maintaining enterprise-grade performance. Virtuous Techlogic also developed several web-based administrative dashboards that gave HR administrators, managers, and operational teams better visibility into employee data, workflows, approvals, and reporting activities. These dashboards helped centralize information that had previously been spread across multiple tools. On the backend side, the team worked extensively on scalable architecture improvements. They helped implement and optimize components utilizing Supabase and Firebase services where appropriate, including authentication systems, realtime database functionality, cloud storage management, and user access controls. The engagement also included API integration with various third-party HR and business platforms. Several external systems were connected through secure APIs, allowing information to move more efficiently between applications without requiring manual intervention. Another significant deliverable was the implementation of AI-powered assistant functionality that helped users quickly locate HR-related information, navigate internal processes, and surface relevant data through AI-based search capabilities. The team further supported database migration activities, infrastructure optimization, role-based permissions, reporting modules, cloud storage improvements, and administrative management tools designed to support long-term platform growth.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The project produced several meaningful outcomes for our business and users. We successfully launched new mobile experiences that improved accessibility for HR administrators and employees working across different locations. Internal workflows became more streamlined because information was centralized through integrated dashboards and connected systems. The implementation of authentication improvements and scalable backend architecture strengthened platform reliability while making future development initiatives easier to support. The realtime database functionality enabled faster synchronization of important information across different parts of the platform. The AI assistant capabilities reduced the effort required to locate information and navigate common HR processes. Administrative teams reported improved efficiency when accessing records, generating reports, and managing operational tasks. The API integrations eliminated a significant amount of manual data handling and created smoother interactions between multiple business systems. Additionally, the database migration and architecture improvements established a stronger technical foundation for future product expansion.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Project management was one of the strongest aspects of the engagement. The Virtuous Techlogic team maintained a highly organized workflow throughout the project. We had regular planning meetings, sprint reviews, technical workshops, and progress updates that kept all stakeholders aligned. Communication was transparent, and potential challenges were usually identified early before they became significant issues. Deliverables were consistently tracked against agreed milestones, and when priorities shifted. As they often do within a fast-growing HR technology company, the team adapted quickly and helped us evaluate the impact of those changes. What I appreciated most was their responsiveness. Whenever our product team introduced new requirements or needed clarification on technical decisions, their team was available to discuss alternatives and propose practical solutions. Rather than simply implementing requests, they often provided thoughtful recommendations that improved the final outcome.
What was your primary form of communication with Virtuous Techlogic?
Virtual Meeting
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What stood out most was their ability to combine technical execution with genuine product thinking. Many development firms focus strictly on coding tasks, but Virtuous Techlogic consistently approached discussions from both a technical and business perspective. They took time to understand how HR teams actually work and how our customers interact with the platform before proposing solutions. Their expertise across Flutter development, backend architecture, API integrations, cloud infrastructure, and AI-assisted functionality allowed them to contribute meaningfully across multiple areas of the project rather than operating within a narrow specialization. I was also impressed by their ability to build scalable solutions while maintaining speed. They understood the realities of growing software platforms and consistently balanced immediate business needs with long-term architectural considerations.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Virtuous Techlogic could have done differently?
If I were to suggest one area for improvement, it would be expanding the amount of documentation delivered during certain technical handoff phases. While the documentation provided was useful, additional architecture diagrams and operational guides earlier in the process would have made internal onboarding slightly easier for some of our teams. That said, whenever we requested clarification or additional documentation, the team responded quickly and addressed our concerns. The overall quality of collaboration, technical expertise, and commitment to delivering value made Virtuous Techlogic a strong partner throughout the engagement.

Virtuous Techlogic developed wallet-related functionality that allowed merchants to monitor balances, transaction history, settlements, and payment activity in real time. They implemented secure transaction flows with multiple payment gateway integrations and helped structure backend logic around wallet balances and ledger management. Their team also worked on embedded finance APIs that connected our internal systems with payment processing services and external financial tools. They integrated authentication and user verification workflows, including KYC-related onboarding logic where additional compliance checks were needed. On the operational side, they built a detailed admin dashboard for transaction monitoring, merchant management, reporting, dispute tracking, and subscription/payment management. The reporting side became much more organized after the new dashboard was introduced. For infrastructure, they used scalable backend architecture with Firebase and Supabase integrations for authentication, database synchronization, cloud storage, notifications, and API handling. They also improved several parts of our mobile POS workflows and optimized performance for merchants handling transactions throughout the day. The final deliverables included: Wallet system functionality Secure payment transaction infrastructure Payment gateway integrations Financial admin dashboard Merchant reporting tools Subscription/payment logic Ledger and wallet balance management Backend API integrations Firebase/Supabase backend services Authentication and verification workflows Mobile POS improvements Scalable fintech infrastructure
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The biggest improvement was operational stability. Our payment workflows became smoother, transaction monitoring became easier internally, and merchants had a much better experience using the platform. The admin dashboard significantly improved reporting visibility for our internal team, especially regarding transaction tracking, settlements, and merchant activities. We also noticed fewer manual operational tasks because many workflows became automated after the backend restructuring. The wallet infrastructure and ledger logic became more dependable, which reduced reconciliation issues and improved confidence internally when scaling payment operations. Another positive outcome was the improved scalability of the backend systems. We were able to support additional payment activity and integrations more comfortably after the infrastructure upgrades.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Their project management was one of the strongest parts of the engagement. Communication stayed consistent throughout the project, and we always had visibility into development progress, priorities, and technical decisions. Fintech projects naturally involve unexpected compliance and integration challenges, but they handled changes professionally and stayed solution-oriented instead of becoming defensive when issues appeared. They were responsive during critical payment-related situations and understood the importance of reliability in financial products. Deadlines were generally respected, and when adjustments were necessary, they communicated clearly in advance with practical alternatives instead of unrealistic promises.
What was your primary form of communication with Virtuous Techlogic?
Virtual Meeting
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What impressed me most was their ability to combine technical execution with practical product thinking. Many development teams can build features, but Virtuous Techlogic understood how fintech products actually operate from both the business and operational side. They paid close attention to security, transaction reliability, scalability, and the real user experience for merchants. Their team was also proactive with recommendations around workflow improvements, dashboard usability, and backend architecture decisions instead of simply following instructions blindly. I also appreciated how comfortable they were working with APIs, financial logic, and infrastructure-heavy requirements, because those areas usually expose weak technical teams very quickly.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Virtuous Techlogic could have done differently?
Overall, the experience was very positive. If I had to mention one area for improvement, I would say that some documentation during the earlier development stages could have been more detailed, especially around certain API structures and backend dependencies. That said, whenever clarification was needed, their team responded quickly and worked collaboratively with our internal stakeholders to resolve issues.

BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and position.
I am the CFO of FlyNex
Describe what your company does in a single sentence.
FlyNex provides a unique enterprise software to automate infrastructure operations, maintenance, and repair services. FlyNex empowers corporations to use data generation technologies such as unmanned aerial systems (drones), satellites, and scanners for scalable data-driven processes. FlyNex is successfully used as a drone and data management solution by renowned companies and technology leaders in the construction, real estate, energy, and telecommunications sectors. The end-to-end solution of FlyNex enables companies and organizations to capture thousands of assets, facilities, and buildings digitally and analyze the data with the help of Artificial Intelligence.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What specific goals or objectives did you hire Virtuous Techlogic to accomplish?
At FlyNex, we needed a technology partner capable of simplifying very complex field operations. Our objective was to create a utility and field operations ecosystem that could support drone-assisted inspections, infrastructure monitoring, and maintenance workflows across multiple industries. We wanted mobile applications for field teams that could work reliably in remote environments, allow technicians to upload inspection data directly from sites, and synchronize information with a centralized web dashboard for project managers and clients. Another important goal was reducing the communication gap between field operators and office teams because most of our previous processes involved too many manual steps and fragmented tools.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
The scope of work was extensive and covered both mobile and web-based operational systems. Virtuous Techlogic developed a custom field operations app used by technicians and drone operators during infrastructure inspections. The application allowed teams to document site conditions, upload drone imagery, create maintenance notes, generate digital reports, and track repair tasks in real time. They also built a centralized admin dashboard where supervisors could monitor active operations, review incoming field data, assign inspection schedules, and analyze asset conditions across multiple projects. One of the most valuable deliverables was the offline synchronization capability because many inspection areas had unstable connectivity. Teams could continue working in the field and automatically sync once internet access became available. Another key deliverable was an AI-assisted asset tagging module that helped organize uploaded images and inspection records more efficiently. They also integrated secure cloud storage, user permission systems, GPS-based location tracking, and notification systems for task updates. Beyond development, they handled UI/UX planning, testing, deployment support, and post-launch optimization. The final system significantly improved how our teams coordinate operations between the field and headquarters.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The biggest improvement was operational visibility. Before the platform, project managers often had delayed access to field inspection data, and reporting depended heavily on manual consolidation. After deployment, inspection reports and maintenance updates became accessible almost immediately after field activities were completed. The mobile app also reduced administrative workload for field technicians because they no longer needed to duplicate reporting across different systems. Data collection became more standardized, which improved reporting accuracy across projects. Another major success was the improvement in coordination between drone operators, maintenance teams, and office staff. The centralized dashboard helped us manage large volumes of inspection records more efficiently and made asset tracking significantly easier across different client operations. Internally, the platform became an important operational tool rather than just another software system. Teams actually adopted it naturally because the workflows reflected real field usage scenarios.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
We had weekly review meetings, milestone tracking, and consistent communication through Slack and video calls. They were proactive in identifying technical risks early and usually came prepared with alternative solutions instead of simply highlighting problems. Most deliverables were completed within the expected timelines, and when adjustments were needed due to evolving project requirements, they communicated transparently about the impact on delivery schedules. What stood out was their willingness to adapt to operational realities. Our industry involves a lot of unpredictable field conditions, and they listened carefully to feedback from our drone operators and inspection teams before refining certain workflows. They also responded quickly whenever critical issues appeared during testing phases. Their support after deployment was reliable, especially during the first weeks of live operational usage.
What was your primary form of communication with Virtuous Techlogic?
Virtual Meeting
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their ability to understand operational complexity very quickly. Many development companies can build applications, but very few understand how field operations actually function in industries like infrastructure monitoring and drone inspections. Virtuous Techlogic paid attention to the practical realities our teams face daily. They were genuinely interested in how technicians interact with tools in the field, how inspection reporting flows internally, and how operational delays affect decision-making. That level of involvement made the final product feel much more aligned with our business rather than a generic software solution. I also appreciated their flexibility. As our ideas evolved during development, they remained solution-oriented and collaborative instead of rigidly sticking to initial assumptions.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Virtuous Techlogic could have done differently?
One area of improvement is the documentation during some of the mid-project development stages. Because the platform involved several technical integrations and evolving workflows, more detailed technical documentation earlier in the process would have helped speed up certain internal onboarding discussions on our side. That said, they addressed questions whenever clarification was needed, and the final handover documentation was much more comprehensive.
