On call a division of Hello Phoenix provides telecom solutions to Hospitals, Clinics, Non-Profits, and Apartment Communities. I am the CEO/ Founder of the company.

This is a customized PBX system and it's providing such business-related features such as Call center, IVR, Time condition, DID management, Extension creation, and assigning extensions to a specific user, Using this PBX you can manage your SIP devices via Provisioning.

Also, we have developed a customized SMS inbox to send and receive SMS from the portal. Using Google Speech to text API we have developed voicemail and call recording transcription feature so concerned persons get notification messages with audio transcription on Email and SMS

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I worked with the vendor on another project we did for a company I owned that operated in the Call Center space.

I was looking to build a next-generation platform for our customers. I worked up SOW with all the features and case uses. I reviewed the SOW with the assigned project manager. Once I approved the start of the development they began to work on the project.

I primarily worked with the Project Manager and occasionally one of the lead programmers. I also worked closely with Bhaskar, one of the owners.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project was successful, and we have had no issues since we went live with the software platform. Of course, we add new features as they become available.

I would have two meetings a week with the Project Manager to review the development progress. Once they release the completed work, my team would QC the work to identify any potential issues.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It is very nice to have a relationship with the owner. I find the customer service very responsive, and they value me as a customer.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Overall, I haven't had any major issues.

I’m the owner of a call center and wholesale telecommunications company specializing in VoIP.

What challenge were you trying to address with Vindaloo Softtech Pvt. Ltd.?

We hired Vindaloo to customize a VoIP software that could enable us to bill customers.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Vindaloo developed a custom VoIP software that could bill our customers, our calls, and so forth from our online carriers to our end users. They built off of an open-source software called FreeSwitch. 

Once we had the software set up, we then moved all of our calls to our different carriers to be able to bill, transact, and pull detailed reports on the calls that go through our system. The software is complete, but we are still in the process of adding new features to it.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with a total of four people over the years. My main point of contacts are the owner and the project manager. 

How did you come to work with Vindaloo Softtech Pvt. Ltd.?

I found them on Google. I had spoken to a lot of companies but ultimately chose to do the project with Vindaloo because they already had VoIP and telecommunications software in place that I kind of liked. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested close to $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together around the beginning of 2019, and our partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Vindaloo has been great. Their team has thoroughly tested everything prior to delivering the final product. The software is up and running and now enables us to properly bill our customers and the calls that go through our different carriers. 

How did Vindaloo Softtech Pvt. Ltd. perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve done excellently on this front. The team is very responsive, answering all my emails and calls right away. They provide us with a clear quote and timeframe, and everything is done when they say it’s going to be done. 

We use Google Docs for billing, and we communicate over Skype, emails, and phone calls. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The quality of Vindaloo’s work really sets them apart from other providers. They’re very professional, attentive to their clients, and just an all-around good company. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don’t have any complaints. I’ve been very happy with their services.

Tell them what you want, and they’ll make it happen.

We hired Vindaloo for developing a management system for users, partners and telecom providers. The front-end is a browser based phone solution with lots of features. The target was a minimal viable product.

We found them via Google and they convinced us about their skills in VoIP SIP and WebRTC technology.

I designed a wireframe and GUI and their improved my designs. Then they started working on the management portal and after completion they started working on the browser based phone.

There were 2 developers and 2 project managers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We are very pleased with the results. We plan to make more features available and our customers (users) are very pleased with the solution.

Project management is great, we communicate through different timezones using Slack e-mail and Google Meet and they keep that in mind. Replies are always on time and these people are very friendly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They keep developing untill the product is finished. Some things are not in the scope of their work, but they have found a great solution and have fixed it on time.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I would recommend them to use a headset when communicating via Google Meet or similar. Sometime there are some background noises.

We are extremely happy with what has been delivered to us so far. CRM works fine and everything was completed in timely manner and to our satisfaction.

We found that their staff was open for changes that we have made regularly and they have completed all with no fuss. They were always available to talk to us every time we needed them.
