The project was a "Brand Identity Sprint" to accomplish the work with a very short turnaround time. Vidi took ample time to listen to the heart of who we are as an organization and what we hope to accomplish. And they translated it into a brand identity that fit us well. This including a logo, sample use cases with aesthetics we could visualize, and a brand kit with unified colors and fonts.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We had the branding and a logo with plenty of time to implement it in the launch of a key event and first major initiative. Their work informed the design of a brochure and postcard as well as digital promotion for our cornerstone initiative. It also gave us the opportunity to present our organization to churches and pastors in a credible, professional way. This is so important for us as a young organization that is still building a reputation locally.

Not only was everything delivered on time as expected, but every step of the process felt so well though-out and considerate of our needs, even under the pressure of a quick turnaround. Instead of feeling rushed, we felt heard. And somehow we also got what we needed quickly.

Their professionalism, high level of execution, and creative talents were all impressive. But what impressed me the most was the level of care and enthusiasm for our vision as an organization. What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Vidi Global did an outstanding job understanding and actualizing the direction we wanted to take our new law firm. Every single person who has interacted with our firm's branding applications (e.g., website, business cards, letterhead, etc.) have been deeply impressed and asked who created our branding. 
Additionally, individuals interacting with our firm's branding applications have recognized that our branding and messaging are distinctly different from other law firms. While other law firms have a very "We" or "Us" focus, individuals interacting with our branding instantly recognize that our firm's branding is focused on the needs of our clients and how our collaboration with them can help achieve their goals. This is exactly the response we were hoping to achieve.

Vidi Global was in constant communication with us and very responsive to our comments and questions. They would regularly schedule video conference meetings to shepherd us through the process and get our input. When we had comments or questions that we sent by email, Vidi Global was quick to respond to address our inquiries. 
Deliverables were provided within the time frame we discussed early in the project. When we realized we needed additional deliverables, Vidi Global was very accommodating and delivered with a short turnaround.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Vidi Global impressed us at every stage of the process. First, when we were researching which branding firm to retain, we were deeply impressed by Vidi Global's prior work - which was bold and dynamic. Second, after retaining Vidi Global, they quickly keyed into the direction we wanted to take our branding and how we could distinguish our branding from other law firms. 
Third, we were simply blown away each time we received deliverables from Vidi Global. In instances where we provided constructive critique, the revisions surpassed our expectations. Finally, Vidi Global's entire team was excellent at communicating with us.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Vidi Global could have done differently?

I am the Director of Procurement and Client Relations for Southcrest Management. Southcrest Management is a Florida local General Contractor company that does commercial building and land acquisition throughout the state.

Southcrest Management is a family owned business that has been established for 10 years now. We created our own website, logo, marketing documents, etc. in the past but really needed some expert advise and guidance to help bring us to the next level.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Because of our rebranding, we have a better online presence and all around marketing presence. Vidi has helped us stand out from other GC's by having our own unique voice.

When working with Vidi we had multiple meetings to discuss upcoming ideas and where they currently are at with the re-branding. The Vidi team was always extremely responsive and did not leave us feeling left in the dark at all through the process.

I would like to note that working with Christina was such a pleasure! She was wonderful with getting things done and being on top of everything.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I thought all of the research and materials they provided at the first few meetings was spectacular. The Vidi team really took a lot of time to learn about the GC market and how they could really set us apart from our competition. They not only provided us with information, but they did so in a very professional and digestible manner.

I'm the founder and Creative Director of Brave Factor, an award-winning branding & web agency for nonprofits.

For what projects/services did your company hire Vidi Global, and what were your goals?

Our client, Allies for Every Child, hired Brave to assist them with a new website. Part of that project was taking a look at their past communications and creating more impactful, emotional content that better describes the work Allies does. I partnered with Vidi Global to lead in the digital strategy and copywriting portion for the website.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We've been business partners for a while, but I trusted them over all other agencies because I know their dedication to doing the best work for their clients. I know they choose to work with clients that create positive social impact, which aligns with my own agency's vision. They also recently won many awards, and when I shared Vidi with Allies, Allies was very interested in working with them.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.

Vidi helped us from the very beginning in the discovery phase, including taking the lead in a long discovery meeting, running stakeholder interviews, and creating a custom journey map. From there, they put all their research and strategy into a branding document that contained the brand philosophy, brand anthem, value proposition, brand voice, brand messaging guidelines, and marketing communications recommendations.

After all the messaging direction were approved, they worked with Allies to craft new content based on a new site architecture, allowing time and revisions to make it perfect.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked directly with their team, using Slack, emails, and GatherKit to communicate. I was communicating mostly with Christian and Christina, who kept the project organized and moving forward.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The client hired us because they were unhappy with previous copywriting. So it was a big deal to make sure we got it right. The client only had good things to say about the messing direction, brand anthem, the content. We had very few revisions from the client, and most revisions were small wording edits. I was glad I could trust Vidi with our project. Copywriting is not my strength and I fully trusted them to create something amazing. And they did.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had weekly check-ins via Slack regarding who was doing what, where they were stuck, and what help they needed. They would join client calls as needed too. After regrouping with Vidi, I would report back to the client and get any answers we needed. Managing vendors as a vendor can be challenging, but it did go smoothly and Vidi always made sure to communicate quickly and clearly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their dedication to get something done well most impressed me. They didn't take any shortcuts and they didn't deliver anything half-hearted. There were some times I tried to challenge their team because I wanted something to be a little punchier, and they took all feedback to heart, delivering exactly what I was looking for in one round.

They are extremely responsive, positive people genuinely looking to create the best experiences for their clients, no matter how long it takes. Also, my client was delayed due to scheduling issues, travel, etc. Vidi was always patient and never complained about the project timeline being prolonged. They wanted to make sure everything was right and meeting expectations up to the point of complete handoff.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Early in our process, we were figuring out how to communicate clearly, especially as two vendors to one client. But after some conversations, we immediately improved our process. We also had some simple misunderstandings about SEO expectations, but Vidi worked overtime to make sure that the deliverable was complete.

I’m the chef and owner of JAM Hot Chicken, a restaurant.

What challenge were you trying to address with Vidi Global?

My business started out as a small, pop-up restaurant, and all of my marketing and branding efforts were very limited because I was just a one-man show. I needed a team of people who could take my crazy ideas and mold them into actual branding and help me create an identity that’s more than just selling food.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We started the project with a preliminary talk about the schedule, my goals, and our plans going forward.

Vidi Global helped me create and establish my entire brand — they created my imagery and chose my font and colors. They then used those choices for every branding material that they created, including our online and physical menu, restaurant signage, apparel and merchandise, and even a mural for the restaurant.

Their team also handled video production for the events that I participated in; they filmed me at events, edited the footage, and published the videos on my online channels. They also did some work for my site, which includes interactive assets such as a soundboard.

What is the team composition?

I worked with Christian (Owner & Creative Director), Christina (Director of Communications), J.D. (Art Director), and two other people who helped with video production.

How did you come to work with Vidi Global?

I’ve actually known Christian for a long time — we grew up in the same town and went to the same school, but I didn’t know that they do branding. We just connected naturally and organically.

I don’t really like working with people that I don’t know, so working with them was like a match made in heaven. They were really wonderful — they seemed really passionate about the work that they do, and their willingness to dig deep into my business to understand us showed that they truly cared about us and this project. That’s why I went with them.

How much have you invested with them?

I spent around $20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from April–November 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I don’t really have any quantitative metrics, as I haven’t had the chance to reveal much of the assets that we worked on just yet. But for those that I did, I’ve gotten nothing but praise and positive feedback. In fact, a company recently reached out to me to ask who took care of my branding.

How did Vidi Global perform from a project management standpoint?

Vidi Global was very hands-on throughout the entire process. They were just so willing to adapt and help me — they basically put themselves in my shoes and just worked with my schedule, so I never had to wait for anything from them. They were communicative throughout the project and always readily available when I needed them.

We primarily communicated through email and in-person meetings, but we also talked through phone calls and the occasional Zoom meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Vidi Global really went above and beyond for me. I appreciated that they always did things for me that I didn’t expect — I think everything that they created for me would probably cost $5,000 more than what I paid, but they didn’t ask for a penny more than what we initially discussed.

They’re extremely creative as well; I had many things planned out, but I really wanted to see how they would transform my ideas into reality. It was refreshing for them to work with somebody who was willing to let them be creative in their own way, and not try to take up their roles because they’re the best at what they do. So, we were able to establish that mutual trust, which is something that is hard to do when working with people that you don’t know.

They were so professional and almost intimidating in a way because of their knowledge and how they carry their business. But at the same time, they were relatable and personable. As a new business owner, I actually learned a lot from them.

Aside from that, I really loved their unique style. They weren’t afraid of doing things differently and thinking outside the box. They worked with my crazy ideas and went a different direction than what I commonly see a lot of businesses go in terms of how they present themselves.

Working with Vidi Global made the entire process of establishing my brand as easy and seamless as possible, and I’m very grateful for their time, excellent work ethic, and ultimately everything that we created together.

I don’t think there’s anything that they could have done better — my expectations were so far exceeded.

I personally believe that the best creations are made through open communication, so don’t be scared to ask a lot of questions and share your ideas with them.
