The team was great to work with! Communication was always clear and direct and the team was easy to get in touch with. Deliverables were completed on time or earlier, and the team was proactive in all of their communications with us.

The team was outstanding to work with and very receptive to any feedback we had. They were able to work with us to create designs that reflected our brand.

Veza is helping us create software that allows our customers to purchase our products online. The user just needs to fill up forms, and they will immediately receive a quote — the whole sales process is done through that platform. The software is going to be built into our website, and it’ll also be available as a module on a desktop. 

Through Miro, we shared information about our industry with Veza’s team. Right away, they caught on and proceeded with the development. Aside from the development, they’re also doing the software’s UI/UX design. 

Vezo’s development is ongoing, but we’re looking to launch around December 2021–January 2022.

Our email campaigns continue to be the most successful we've had and the landing page has the highest conversions we've had.

I'm very particular about workflow and organization to prevent overwhelm and they have nailed this!

So far they know everything about everything when it comes to web development, conversions, sales funnels, ad campaigns and management, copy writing and all things marketing.

I've used higher-end suppliers from Upwork and similar sites, but never overly impressed. I've also worked with a couple of specific agencies. I came across Veza through a friend and after a comprehensive deep-dive into my business with their direction, I realised they could offer really the fuller picture for me. Price and timelines were also very reasonable and so it became a no-brainer.

We had a kick-off meeting with the Founder, the Web team and my Account Manager. They lead me through a deep-dive of my business and took particular note of my challenges and goals. I forget the software they used but on my end we've implemented; Webflow for the website Hubspot for the CRM, fully integrated to the site + email Slack for communication

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

There are numerous aspects that I've benefited from, including some tangible elements and many non-tangible elements too; Website traffic is way up from the previous, out-dated Clickfunnels site. I receive frequent comments about the site being very 'clean' and nice to the eye. My eBook they designed has been distributed and well-received by my niche. The VA team they've helped me build via their partner has been huge for me; I've probably cut delivery work by 10-15 hours every week, and I've been able to take on more work with a fraction of the sales cost/delivery as before.

From the start I knew they were focused on me and my business, rather than selling a particular product/service (they have an extensive range so I guess they have free-roam to support the entire business). They've been really quick to respond to pretty much every need of mine. Everything just works. Their onboarding/ongoing check-in team is world-class, and I've been quizzing them about how I build the same (which they've helped me with)

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I got what I paid for in terms of the specific outcomes (website, integration, tooling, etc.) but more than that, they've trained me, advised me, help me see opportunities elsewhere in my business, shared with me how they've built their very impressive team and so on. The specific outcomes are good. The full value I've received is great!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The project got a bit stuck in the middle and the site live launch was delayed - but purely down to me, and they were extremely accommodating (and patient!) to help me get what was needed to launch the site properly. I have no complaints or any suggestions as to what they should do differently - they've been ace!

The email marketing was a tedious lift and they did everything they could to make it work, including split testing. While the numbers didn't reach my expectation, I don't think that had anything to do with their execution, which was great. It is just a very specific niche that is hard to do outreach.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Their workflow is awesome. We use several communication platforms and I've never not been able to get in contact with someone or wait for a long time to get a response. This is one of their best qualities -- accessibility.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They understand customer service. They've given me several discounts that they definitely didn't have to, but they understand the project as well as everything not having to be cut and dry. Although technically they fulfilled their obligation contractually, they understood that I haven't gotten the results I want yet and were willing to cut a few things out of my budget in order to make up for that while still helping me figure out a way to reach our goals.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not really. Maybe help a little more with website creative, but they weren't responsible for that. I'm just being picky at this point.

They set up communication channels for faster and better communication and made sure to understand all aspects of our business, starting with what the product does, to who sell it to and why. We've contributed with the direction, copy, design and creatives and they've done the testing and optimization along with consulting on all aspects.

About 5 team members are involved with us, not sure who else. They add more team members in contact with us based on our needs, for example, they've added to our slack channel the guy responsible for our ads management once we all realized we needed to be in direct contact with him.

I’m the founder and CEO of FilmGearClub.com. We’re a subscription-based video production rental house. Basically, we’re a modern way of renting gear as opposed to going to pick it up and having to get insurance.

We charge a flat fee for membership each month, which includes discounts for the gear on the daily rental rates. It also includes insurance as well as free pickup and delivery of the gear.

What challenge were you trying to address with Veza Digital?

Our biggest challenges were branding-related, conversions, and telling a better marketing story through our website.

We also had a challenge with our site’s functionality. Our previous website didn’t have the seamless capabilities for customers to sign up, browse different memberships, or manage their accounts in a way that was predicated on our users. Nothing was custom, it was just this set structure. We turned to Veza Digital to make our website more custom and user-friendly, giving them a one-on-one experience.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The first part of our engagement involved Veza Digital auditing our former website. They went through very thoroughly and saw where we needed to make some improvements. From there, they came back and presented the best way to redo it.

At that point, we decided to commit. The first step was to update the website and get it ready to go. The project in terms of the website is done, we’ll add features down the road but right now it’s live and ready to go.

Outside of that, we still do some marketing and consulting on a month-to-month basis with Veza Digital. They handle everything for our advertising and have also been helpful with our email marketing; not just on the commercial side, but internally as well.

There are five individuals on their team, but I work directly with Stefan (Partner & CMO) and Julian (Partner & Creative Director).

Additionally, I wanted to work with someone younger. Veza Digital has a lot of experience for their age. We didn’t want a vendor that was older and stuck in their ways. But at that same time, we didn’t want one that was too young without tangible experience. Veza Digital was the sweet spot because they had the youth and real expertise I was looking for.

We’re big on Google Analytics and track that very often. After the new website launched, we saw over 100% improvement in traffic and signups. Veza Digital over-delivered. I’ve worked with a lot of companies, and they blew me away. Again, they promised me a website, but I didn’t know it’d have that big of an impact on our bottom line in terms of traffic and engagement. I’m very happy, and Veza Digital is really talented.

How did Veza Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

They do an incredible job with project management. They didn’t miss any deadlines, and there were no delays. Any delays were from our end. Our business is tricky and our e-commerce website wasn’t easy. However, with everything from product photos to descriptions, Veza Digital went over and above to make sure we achieved our objectives.

They utilize Google Drive for our project management. That includes Gmail, the calendar, and Google Meet. I felt very confident every step of the way.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re consistent. Other marketing and advertising companies I’ve worked with have had a problem of being consistent with what they promise to deliver versus what I actually paid for. With Veza Digital, there was 100% transparency. They told me a price, and I didn’t think we’d get that much. I knew there’d be value but I had no idea we’d be over-compensated. They’ve been consistent across the board.

No, nothing comes to mind. They’ve done a great job.

Know exactly what you want. Veza Digital is great at listening. The more confident you are and more research you’ve done on your own, the better. If you don’t know your business, it could be a problem.

All of our communication was virtual. We did some calls through Facebook Messenger. We used Google Drive to share documents. There was sometimes a lag in response because of the time difference. I’m in Canada, and they’re in Europe. But overall, I think it went well.

I was impressed with their turnaround time. I asked if they could have something done within five days, and they delivered. The fact that their team produced something high-quality in a short amount of time was great.

Sometimes, the time change was a challenge. But other than that, nothing.

I’m the vice president of operations for KOCH Management Group. In this role, I wear many hats at different times.

What challenge were you trying to address with Veza Digital?

We expanded KOCH Management Group from a commercial construction company and added verticals such as energy concept solution, and mechanical and maintenance program for health care facilities.

When we ventured out to offer more products and services, we need to have some presence whether that be from a marketing standpoint or an online standpoint and Veza Digital is able to help us with both.

The COVID-10 pandemic offered us an opportunity to shift where we’re not relying much on our online presence, but given the circumstances with the confinement and restrictions, we felt it was necessary to meet that market demand and perhaps expand our digital presence.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Veza Digital developed a campaign and established an online presence for the company through my LinkedIn. Since I’m affiliated through a network of business decision-makers, we felt that’s the best way to communicate our business model and our expansion verticals. In advance of the engagement, I prepared things on our end. We collaborated on the scripts and content.

They also helped implement a CRM to collect LinkedIn contacts. In conjunction with our own internal database, this allowed us to focus our targeting for who to approach.

We work with Julian (Partner & Creative Director) and Stefan (Partner & CMO). They are part of the design, sales, and digital marketing team. Between those two, they are able to help us with our website, marketing campaigns, and online presence. I believe there are data support representatives that helps us keep recurring posts and update online activities.

We didn’t really search for other vendors because Veza Digital came to us as a referral from another company that we had dealt with in the past. Once we negotiated a reasonable budget in conjunction with what the expected outcome would be, we just moved on from there. Whenever we draw support from vendors, we try to find the best, which is why we chose Veza Digital.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Veza Digital in February 2018 and the engagement is ongoing. The initial project has evolved over time, enhancing our objective.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

After three months, I went from about 500 connections to over 12,000 connections which is pretty impressive. Out of those additional contacts, 60% of them are decision-makers that we’d want to get into the door and discuss our products and services.

The information that you have is only as good as what you do with it. They provided clear directives about what they were going to provide and what we needed to do with it to help the business prosper.

 How did Veza Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

In the early goings, there are always some growing pains, but that probably has to do more with me because we’re growing a business. We have to be quite careful about how we choose our content as we commit to an online brand.

After the hurdles of getting to the point where we wanted to identify ourselves, Veza Digital was helpful, communicative, and patient with my demands. That led us to where we are today as far as brand management goes. The content is now much easier to communicate back and forth because we’re both on the same page.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Veza Digital’s quality of product and service that you get from them is well worth the cost. Their affordability and quality are the key points to mention.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could follow the growth of the company so that there is more fluidity between teams. I understand that they probably have some sort of generic schedule for posting activity, but I would like to see more alignment with what our team is posting in real-time.

For example, if we’re doing a lot of energy concepts, perhaps they would want to follow in stride with the energy concept as opposed to concrete restoration. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing and I’m sure I could tweak our budget to include that type of text, but that’s the only segment that I think needs some improvement.

We highly recommend working with Veza Digital. Their affordability, flexibility, and quality results helped us find success.
