The primary objective of our initiative was to promote a specific product through an engaging awareness campaign. To achieve this, we developed a series of three commercials, each designed to capture the essence of the product while resonating emotionally with the audience. We strategically focused on incorporating humor to create a memorable and relatable experience, all while maintaining a professional tone that reflects the quality and integrity of the brand. Each commercial features unique scenarios that not only entertain but also highlight the product's key benefits, ensuring that viewers are both informed and amused.

While running the awareness campaign on LinkedIn for two months, we experienced an average increase of 30% in traffic to this product page. 

It is still too early to evaluate the financial return, but it is certainly in terms of awareness that it is working well and the market is talking about the videos.

Everything was accomplished on time to a high standard and within budget. The ad is yet to go live, but I believe it will hit all anticipated milestones.

The project was constrained by short timescales; Vermillion Films quickly grasped the requirements and the needs of our company. From the initial brief time was taken to understand the brief fully and further establish the specifics before moving on to the storyboard and detailed approach. 

On shoot day the level of creativity and professionalism was appreciated by all those involved and made for a productive and enjoyable day. The editing process was turned around efficiently to meet the short timescales without compromising on a single detail.

Vermillion assisted us with creating 2 very recognisable, animated video assets to support us with telling the story of our new proposition, and also promoting the benefits of our new membership community. We recorded the videos in advance in sort of "podcast" style, and Vermillion were able to take the long edit, add amazing video graphics, sound effects and music and turn our video into something truly engaging for prospects and clients to engage with.

Both videos were delivered on time at a very high standard, and were used immediately to support our campaigns. We've had a huge increase in interest for both the membership community, and our new website / proposition.

All work was carefully project managed via Basecamp with very fast response times. All feedback was carefully considered and the next iteration of the project was always a significant, positive leap from early "testing ground" iterations. They did brilliantly in bringing our vision to life.

This is the area where Vermillion excel. The online communication is excellent and leaves a great paper trail. In addition we have regular short calls to add the human factor. We were keen to progress according to schedule, Vermillion remapped our timeline, giving more time for preparation yet still meeting our production deadlines. Throughout the process they were pro-active, solutions-focused and listened to every piece of feedback we gave.

There's a mix of talents at Vermillion and anything they don't have in-house they know immediately who to hire in as a freelance. Those independents fit right in - they get the culture and the focus. It's therefore like working with a seamless team.

As a client - we get to focus purely on the goal, everything else is taken care of. Let's be clear: Vermillion are not the cheap option. But no-one else would have pushed us towards such a high quality output. The final result is incredibly good value.

We were celebrating our 30 year anniversary and wanted a video we could use at our financial adviser annual conference and staff conference to depict the last 30 years in the industry. We wanted a nostalgic experience, that would capture and hold the attention of the audience.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We have worked with Vermillion before on a number of projects due to their high quality and ability to meet deadlines.

We started with a very basic brief and they provided some examples of ideas they could create. I created a script which was largely taken forward. They then came back with a short section of what they were thinking and once approved they finished, with a few rounds of amends. Once completed they worked on a social media version and a version for staff using variations of the scrip and imagery/footage.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

Pete, Jess and Jennah were fantastic as ever. The Basecamp system for capturing feedback is very useful.

The video was very well received by our advisers and staff. It looked flashy and very high quality - better than we had envisaged.
