**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m the CTO of H3R3, Inc., an IT company in the social AI industry.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Vention? We needed staff augmentation.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?Vention handled several scopes of work over the years. They were responsible for new feature development, QA, and infrastructure management. We hired them to build React front ends for chat and social creation features, as well as several others, such as YouTube co-watching. Their QA work mostly involved mobile app testing. What is the team composition? We worked with 1–4 teammates from Vention. How did you come to work with Vention? We worked with Vention at a previous company. The partnership required a high degree of trust, and we knew and trusted them. What is the status of this engagement? We worked together from August 2020–June 2025.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? Our project was unique in its demands for high performance and loads of media. We required Vention to deliver fast, high-quality code at startup speeds. They performed well! Our success was measured in shipping. We were a small, fast startup, and the only metric that mattered was how quickly we experimented. Vention closed tickets and bugs extremely quickly. For example, we had a bug fixathon that was team-wide, and one of Vention’s employees won, fixing over 100 bugs in a week. We estimated that day-one retention was lifted about 2%–3% after the fixathon, which was a big deal. How did Vention perform from a project management standpoint?Vention was mostly hands-off and allowed us to do what we needed to do. Their employees felt like our employees. When we needed them for something, they were extremely responsive and helpful. We primarily communicated with a group chat on Discord and via daily live video. What was your primary form of communication with Vention?Virtual MeetingEmail or Messaging AppWhat did you find most impressive about them?Vention had a surprisingly good talent pool on their staff. Are there any areas they could improve? No, there weren’t any.

**SOLUTION**
How did you find Vention?OtherWhy did you select Vention over others?High ratingsPricing fit our budgetGreat culture fitHow many teammates from Vention were assigned to this project?6-10 EmployeesDescribe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.Vention provided embedded engineering talent across multiple disciplines to extend our in-house team. Their contractors worked alongside our staff engineers within our existing product pods, covering backend development in PHP/Symfony, frontend development in Angular, and QA/SDET roles. Key deliverables included feature work across our hybrid workplace platform, contributing to both customer-facing functionality and internal platform improvements, as well as building out automated test coverage to support our release process. The engagement gave us flexibility to scale capacity up and down as priorities shifted, without the lead time of permanent hiring.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?Vention's engineers were fully embedded and productive within our pods in around 8 weeks, after which they delivered customer-facing features alongside our in-house team on a consistent sprint cadence. Their contributions spanned backend, frontend, and QA work, with output measured the same way as our permanent engineers — story points delivered, PRs merged, and features shipped to customers. The engagement gave us the additional capacity needed to maintain our product roadmap without slowing down core delivery.Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?Because Vention's engineers were embedded in our pods, the day-to-day delivery ran through our own sprint process. Where Vention really shone was on the account management side: they were genuinely responsive whenever we needed to bring on new roles or adjust capacity, and they made the commercial side feel easy rather than transactional. Communication was always quick and friendly, and it felt like a real partnership rather than a vendor relationship. What was your primary form of communication with Vention?Virtual MeetingEmail or Messaging AppWhat did you find most impressive or unique about this company? What stood out most was the quality of the partnership, in particular our account manager Jovi. He was consistently responsive, proactive in finding us the right people, and made the commercial side feel effortless. He genuinely cared about whether the engagement was working for us, not just whether contracts were getting signed. That kind of account management is rare and made a real difference to how the engagement ran day to day.Are there any areas for improvement or something Vention could have done differently?Honestly, very little, especially given this is our third engagement with Vention. We did hit a few bumps early on finding the right skill profiles and people, but that was ironed out quickly and we've got a good rhythm for getting the right talent in quickly.

""Vention constantly excels at understanding our needs and asking questions.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m the head of delivery at Memrise, an online language learning platform. My role is to ensure that the product, engineering, and customer service departments are organized and that we have predictable feature delivery. I also ensure that our day-to-day operations function smoothly.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Vention? We needed resources to augment our team.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?Vention provides us with staff augmentation services. The team manages our mobile, web, and backend platforms. For our mobile team, we've split it into Android and iOS.We've ensured each platform has two people because people go on holiday and need breaks. We've made a conscious effort to have a partner for our web, iOS, and Android platforms. For our backend team, we leverage DevOps and backend engineers who build our capabilities. They're a much larger group of around six teammates, so we've scaled that team further. What is the team composition? We primarily contact Jovi and Andrei. Jovi has been our account manager, and Andrei has also been involved with our project. We employ around six full-time teammates from Vention, including mobile, front- and backend engineers, UX designers, and QA engineers. How did you come to work with Vention? Our CPO introduced us to Vention. He had previously worked with them and had such a good experience. Since we were going through the COVID-19 pandemic, we needed remote resources, so we gave them a trial, and we've been happy ever since. How much have you invested with them? We've spent over £200,000.What is the status of this engagement? We started working together in June 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?Vention has provided us with a very good caliber of talent. They have excellent communication skills and are very good collaborators. They have a great mindset of getting things done. We've integrated them well with our UK permanent staff. For example, we've had an old and untouched architecture for our iOS team, and it's been tough to build things on it. We've ended up changing five files, which requires lots of testing. However, we can deploy something in half an hour, making us more operationally efficient and helping with costs. How did Vention perform from a project management standpoint? We use Jira, Trello, and GitHub to manage our projects and leverage Asana for design prototyping. The team uses LISA for user research. We communicate via Google Meet, Zoom, and Slack. What did you find most impressive about them?Vention cares about their employees. They want to ensure their team is treated well and make every effort to ensure we have the proper structure. We regularly meet with our account manager to understand what's happening from our perspective and vice versa. We get lots of feedback, which is crucial for us.When we have a brief, Vention constantly excels at understanding our needs and asking questions. They're efficient and meet our needs, which is very valuable. We don't feel they want to hire anyone to get a fee out of it. They're very personable, and we have a good relationship. Are there any areas they could improve? No, there aren't any.Do you have any advice for potential customers?Vention is very personable, so it's helpful to be clear on your brief. Talk to the team about how you want to work because everybody works differently. Have an initial conversation where you share how you want to interact with Vention so they can create the right plan.

The teams' commitment to the project never wavered. They always showed up, worked hard, and delivered. We just launched our SaaS product to a lot of warm reception because we were able to keep trying again and again to get it right. Recently we threw out some very ambitious quarterly goals, encouraged the team to take risks to get there, and to "build the plane as it flew". They delivered on every single ambitious goal we threw at them. Anybody in software development knows, that just does not happen. You never hit ALL your goals - you usually just aspire to hit as many as possible within the confines of the constraints you have. Not Vention. They roll up their sleeves, and they figure out how to get it done.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success? We brought a new SaaS application to the market from 0-1, that now serves many happy customers!Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs? The Vention team consistently went above and beyond the call of duty to deliver on time or even ahead of time. Just this week, we mentioned a nice-to-have tool that would make our customer's lives better. One of our engineers produced the tool and deployed it to production in a single day. They are absolute rockstars. What was your primary form of communication with Vention?In-Person MeetingVirtual MeetingEmail or Messaging AppWhat did you find most impressive or unique about this company? What makes this company unique is the people. Every person we have interacted with from vention from intake to the lowest-level worker, is all-in on our success. You hear it and feel it in their actions. This is not a job to them. They are committed partners and we wouldn't be where we are today without them. Are there any areas for improvement or something Vention could have done differently? This is a ironic criticism but it looks like they are still figuring out the right format for middle management of their teams. They are trying and I'm sure they'll find the format that works well for lots of different kinds of companies, but in the moment, it's light. This means that as a client, you'll want to make sure you stay involved with the execution. The irony is, this creates a lot of great behaviors on our, the client's, side. We SHOULD be deeply involved. Middle management can often be an anchor to productivity. Ultimately this creates a better outcome for the client, and I can testify to those results.

**The Review** — Jan 26, 2024

**Feedback Summary**: Vention has created a high-quality app nurses are excited about, showing their impressive understanding and investment in the client's vision and goals. The team delivers on time and within budget and truly cares about the client's success. Moreover, they're responsive, respectful, and professional.
""Vention's entire team has been very responsive, respectful, and excited about the project.""

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I'm the CEO of Bundle Birth, a nursing corporation. We provide educational support for both families giving birth and professionals, especially labor and delivery nurses.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Vention? We needed help to develop an app.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?Vention has been developing an iOS and Android mobile app for us. This app is being built specifically for labor and delivery nurses, and it has three main functions. The main feature is for end customers, as this app tracks their child's birth and outcome. Nurses have the ability to add details about the patient's experience and the complications they took care of. All the information gets into the birth statistics to keep track of.Another feature of this app is an entire clinical algorithm. This algorithm overviews all births and provides practical recommendations for the child's care to be as safe and physiologically oriented as possible. This app is to be used by nurses on the job as a reference tool for their practice when they feel stuck or when labor slows down and seems to be moving towards a C-section to help avoid it.The app's third feature is that it collects data in order to analyze trends. With this feature, we'll be able to gather data and provide practice recommendations based on real-time births happening all over the country. What is the team composition?Ryan (Business Development Manager) has been our main point of contact at Vention. We also work with Valery (Senior Project Manager), who then takes our input to the rest of the team. How did you come to work with Vention? My director of strategy found them on Google. We were scouting companies and ended up going with Vention. Ryan was the one who convinced us about their product and this project. I'm a nurse by trade, so I knew nothing about app development. However, I felt that Ryan understood that, so there was no stigma. He also listened really well, so I felt cared for and protected, which is rare from a sales perspective.Ryan offered a personalized approach where, while he was selling a service, he was also very honest and real, which differentiated Vention from the other companies we were looking at. I felt like Ryan was a true partner who really wanted us to succeed. Moreover, Vention wasn't afraid of how inexperienced we were, as Ryan went out of his way to ensure we had the resources we needed and answered a lot of questions. How much have you invested with them? We've spent almost $150,000.What is the status of this engagement? We started the project with them in September 2023, and the project is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? Our app hasn't been launched yet, so we don't have any metrics or results. Our MVP version was supposed to be launched in mid-February 2024, but we're pushing the release date based on my decision. However, I know that there's a lot of interest in our app. Nurses are asking for this app and are really excited about it.As for the quality of their work, Vention is very invested in the project, which has had a positive impact on the quality of their work. They actually care and understand what they're doing rather than just checking the boxes. To me, that sets them apart from other companies and has allowed us to develop a high-quality product.Vention has understood our vision. Our app is very personable and meaningful, and it can potentially save lives. Therefore, it has higher stakes, and Vention really understands that. Said understanding has been reflected in the quality of their work and their investment in our success. On top of that, working with Vention has been streamlined because I haven't had to hire internal people to have access to professionals who can fill my different needs to get this project done. There's no way I could have done this project on my own, as I didn't even know what I needed initially. As a result of this partnership, I've also saved a lot of money because I would have wasted a lot of time trying to do it on my own.How did Vention perform from a project management standpoint?Vention has delivered on budget and stuck to the timelines we've established. Moreover, the structure of their work is excellent, which is reflected in the Confluence tabs, where they've outlined the different features and the purpose of this app. Our communication is also very good. Although there were some miscommunication issues for a while, I actually don't blame Vention for that; I blame the design team we initially brought into the project. We have a shared Slack channel, which we use all day to communicate. We also communicate via email and use WhatsApp occasionally if there's something urgent. Additionally, we use Zoom for our virtual calls. What did you find most impressive about them?Ryan has been amazing. This is my first app development project. Still, I've learned a lot throughout the process. Ryan has stayed involved and been a really helpful liaison throughout the process. Moreover, I can't say better things about Valery — he has saved our lives. I've never worked with a service provider who cares more than him. He's very invested, listens well, and goes above and beyond his scope of duty. He works as if he were a part of our team, so we feel very looked out for, which has been essential for our app's success.Valery constantly brings things to my attention, as he's very forthcoming whenever there's a concern. Moreover, he's very professional. Initially, he didn't want to step on my toes, as I was the CEO. However, I told him that I didn't know what I was doing and to please be my eyes and ears on this project to tell me if I was missing something. Since then, he has taken that feedback and been very present. At this point, he almost knows the clinical side better than I do.Valery has cut the energy high with the team and advocated for us, staying professional amidst a lot of different personalities. This app wouldn't be where it is without him. Moving forward, Valery being on our team is essential for us to continue working with Vention. I just expect Vention to give him the raise and promotions he deserves and keep him on our project.Overall, Vention's entire team has been very responsive, respectful, and excited about the project. Moreover, they work hard and get things done, so I'm very pleased with them. For example, Vention recently brought on Hanna (UI/UX Designer). Although she has been working on the project for about a week, I've been very impressed with her skills. Additionally, she's great at delivering hard news, which is difficult to do.Based on my experience, most service providers don't listen once they're doing their job. Still, one of Vention's strengths is that they really listen. Valery, in particular, has taken incredible ownership of the project and really listens well. He also does his own research and reaches out when he needs to.Are there any areas they could improve?Looking back on the experience, I feel like Vention was initially trying to be more professional than needed, so they saw me as the boss and didn't want to offend me. Therefore, it took Valery a little while to gain some confidence to tell me things as they were.Initially, I brought an outside design firm, which they recommended, but we then had some concerns with our designs that would potentially cause us to redesign the whole app. It would have been great if they hadn't held back on the feedback and told me about their concerns even earlier than they did.Although they provided me with the feedback, I didn't really understand how much impact the designs would have. Therefore, adding more context as to how my decisions would impact the future would have allowed me to make different decisions.Nonetheless, I can also see the silver lining. Those challenges got us where we are now, which has been part of the process. Everything has gone as well as it could have gone, and I'm realistic in knowing that no project goes perfectly right away.Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?Trust your gut along the way. Moreover, I've learned that your project manager can make or break the scenario. Thus, you should evaluate who your project manager is and have them reiterate back to you the purpose of what you're trying to do to ensure that they've done their research. If your project manager is invested in and excited about your project, you'll get a better result. Additionally, ask a lot of questions.

This made our relationship not transactional, but more about the people, and that's what we love. This type of culture seems to permeate to the group. The engineers were not only very professional, but you could tell they were also genuinely good people who wanted to help the team they were onboarding. This really helped move projects along and have everyone feel as they are one team. Are there any areas for improvement or something Vention could have done differently?Their team did a great job overall. I don't think it's anything we could have helped, but the team tended to take a back seat more when it came to the architectural solutions. It's natural to see that when they may not be as close to the business, so they did not offer as much to the conversation. That also may be because it was not their wheelhouse. I encourage them to bring forth innovative ideas in those discussions in the future.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success? The most obvious outcome was bug-free workable software. The team integrated closely with our existing colleagues so in working closely we were able to evaluate work done through our normal project management practices. Using standard agile measures like lead time, cycle time, cumulative flow, etc we are able to continually track and evaluate progress on the project.Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs? For our project we have a Team Lead that manages the daily operations of the team and they integrate with our existing daily scrum calls. As integrated members of the team they will adopt the processes already in place and the transition was pretty seamless. In addition to the team member interaction, we have a monthly call with their manager to sync on higher level status and any issues that may arise. Overall we haven't had many problems and the few times we had they were resolved thoroughly and quickly. What was your primary form of communication with Vention?Virtual MeetingEmail or Messaging AppWhat did you find most impressive or unique about this company? We have found that their core values align very closely with ours as a company, and their approach to having team members integrate directly with our existing employees works very well. In other experiences with outsourced developers at times they felt very transactional, but with Vention everyone really cares about the success of the greater project and are very involved in continuing to improve the processes and suggest new ideas. In general also almost all of the developers we've interacted with have been very effective and have a deep understanding of the technologies we're using. When we're needed to scale the team the screening process has also been very smooth; our current team will typically interview new candidates and ensure the right fit before passing on to internal management for interviews and decisions. Are there any areas for improvement or something Vention could have done differently?I think due to geopolitical concerns they have already been working to broaden the number of offices across Europe and should continue to do this for greater stability.

"“Vention (formerly iTechArt Group) provides excellent value to our company.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m the founder of a startup company that challenges the social media industry with a different business model and a reimagined experience.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with iTechArt Group?I needed to create a next-generation social media application. In the beginning, a friend was helping me with coding, and then I worked with freelance developers and development agencies. I didn’t have a good experience, so I was looking for a different development partner.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?iTechArt Group is developing a mobile and web application for Apple devices. The mobile app is iOS native, and the web app has been built using React.js. Initially, I gave iTechArt Group access to our existing cod. They looked into it and made suggestions according to our project’s requirements. Our app looks like other social media platforms, but on the discovery side, it has a custom architecture to address the most common issues of social media, including filter bubbles, click-bait behavior, and extremist content. iTechArt Group conducts performance reviews to ensure each teammate fits the role correctly and rotates them accordingly. What is the team composition? We started working with two engineers from iTechArt Group, and our team has grown over time. Now, we work with a team that fluctuates between 27–30 teammates, including developers, project managers, account managers, and QA engineers. How did you come to work with iTechArt Group?I contacted several agencies and got on a call with iTechArt Group. I explained our situation with that previous agency who just increased the price and kicked us off. What is the status of this engagement? We started working with iTechArt Group in August 2019, and our partnership is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? We conduct internal reviews about our code’s quality and the app’s performance. iTechArt Group’s score has improved over time. We have a successful functioning app that we’re about to launch to the public.iTechArt Group cares about our project and their performance is great. After a bad experience with a previous development agency, I didn’t trust other companies and wanted to work with two partners in case something went wrong again. iTechArt Group has changed my mind and earned my trust. Our relationship has grown over time, and they’re my only development partner now. How did iTechArt Group perform from a project management standpoint?iTechArt Group meets deadlines and stays on budget. They’re always on track, and we decide together our next move. We use Jira for project management and Notion for planning. We also use Slack and Zoom for communication. What did you find most impressive about them?I’m most impressed with iTechArt Group’s top-notch work value, considering their price. Sometimes getting this quality of work is more expensive, and iTechArt Group provides excellent value to our company — their integrity is unique. Are there any areas they could improve?I can’t think of anything for iTechArt Group to improve. When we started working together, we had to figure out some things, but the fact that we’re still working together shows we could figure them out. Do you have any advice for potential customers?I recommend having a project manager manage the relationship with iTechArt Group. I also recommend conducting one-on-one meetings with your developers to address problems early on.

**Feedback Summary**: Vention's (formerly iTechArt Group) engineers have delivered high-quality work on time, helping the client add new features to their platform and achieve continuous growth. The team is talented, proficient, and flexible, leveraging Jira, Slack, and Google Meet to collaborate. Moreover, they’re independent and helpful.
"“They’re really talented and smart people who work well as a team and bring important issues to light.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I am the Software Development Manager for Sungage Financial, a solar financing company that partners with solar installers and home owners to help them finance their loans which enable solar panel ownership for home owners. We partner with leading solar installers to help make their solar, battery, and roof work more affordable. We help homeowners capture more of the financial benefits of going solar.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with iTechArt Group? We needed Salesforce expertise to maintain and build new features to support our existing platform, on which we’ve been working for 11 years.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?iTechArt provides us with a group of remote engineers who work on our Salesforce platform continuously. We’re currently building a new platform using Node.js, so we also have some engineers from their team helping us with that project as well. iTechArt provides us with additional resources to support our current staff with our development projects, so we constantly go to them for our staffing needs. We started working on the Node.js project with full-time engineers here in Boston. Some of our iTechArt Salesforce engineers that have been working on our existing system are now being trained in Node.js so that they can transition to our new platform work. They have valuable business knowledge that they will bring to the development of our new platform project.Whenever a new resource from iTechArt joins our project, we provide them with documentation to read and get up to speed. Additionally, the new resources have access to lead engineers from their team who are in charge of guiding them, so they basically train each other at thispoint. In addition to training, we have teammates from iTechArt pairing with each other, so they check in and work with each other to bring newcomers up to speed. Initially, we give them small tickets and pieces of work, and we give them more and more work over time. What is the team composition?Currently, we work with four senior Salesforce developers, a Salesforce consultant, two senior QA engineers, a regular Salesforce developer, a senior software engineer focusing on Node.js, and a regular software engineer also focusing on Node.js. The Salesforce consultant also works as the lead engineer and our main point of contact. Initially, he was the only lead engineer, but we now have other engineers from iTechArt working in that capacity. Moreover, we’re now getting ready to hire another software engineer. From iTechArt’s administrative side, we work with a business manager with whom I interact all the time. She constantly checks in to ensure we’re happy with the staff they provide us with and address our concerns. How did you come to work with iTechArt Group? When I started working at my company, we already had a relationship with iTechArt. Originally, my boss did research to find a good firm that had talented engineers with expertise in Salesforce and found iTechArt. However, I don’t know how.How much have you invested with them? We’ve spent hundreds of dollars across various projects but less than a million dollars overall. What is the status of this engagement? We’ve been working with iTechArt since 2020.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? Sungage has been growing and the engineers that work for us from  iTechArt has enabled us to quickly add the features we need to our product in order to achieve constant growth. We have an amazing group of engineers from iTechArt working for us. They’re very knowledgeableand have an amazing work ethic. As we bring on new engineers, I’m committed to continuing using iTechArt due to the quality of work that our current engineers have demonstrated. We started our engagement with them for Salesforce support. Once we started working on the new platform, we decided to bring in new resources from iTechArt because we were very pleased with their Salesforce engineers. The iTechArt team is becoming so proficient at working on our development projects that some of their Salesforce engineers are now moving over to the new platform development project. They have a lot of industry knowledge, so we’re now training them on using our new tools because their work is very valuable to our organization. Moreover, iTechArt always provides us with excellent candidates for our staffing needs. Half the time, we hire the first person they recommend. Still, they always have backup candidates if, for whatever reason, the first option doesn’t convince us.Additionally, our internal team is very happy with iTechArt’s engineers. They write high-quality code and understand the instructions very well to do their work. Whenever they have doubts, they ask the right questions, and they come to us with issues if needed. Still, they’re very independent. How did iTechArt Group perform from a project management standpoint?iTechArt engineers participate well in our Agile environment. They are active participants  in our agile meetings and project planning. They help define and break down the work for tasks, groom and point tickets. Once we assign them a task, they do it within the agreed timeframe and meet their deadlines. The engineers from  iTechArt that have joined our team since I’ve been working here have come on board very quickly. Our experience with iTechArt engineers is that they always high-quality engineers that work very well with our team. They’re great team players and they work well together as w, and their English is very good, too. Overall, they’re great to work with, and we see them as part of our team.On top of that, all the billing hours I get from iTechArt’s accounting department are always correct. They’re also very accurate and ethical, and they’re there for us when we need them. A lot of their engineers work until noon (EST), so they make it very easy for us to collaborate with them. Some work later hours as well in order to accomodate our schedule. For example, some of those engineers work in a different time zone, but they still work late so that they can accommodate our time and join our meetings. As for collaboration tools, we use Jira to manage the project, as well as Slack and Google Meet to communicate. Our Google Meet meetings include stand-up meetings, planning sessions, and retrospective meetings. Moreover, we communicate via email occasionally and check in with the business manager once a month. What did you find most impressive about them?iTechArt offers the whole package. They’re really talented and smart people who work well as a team and bring important issues to light. They know when to involve our onsite team and get our input, but they still work independently, so they always come to the table at the right time. Moreover, iTechArt’s business manager has been fantastic, nice, and helpful. She’s the person I go to when I need new resources, and she always comes back with great resumes for us to look at. She always knocks it out of the ball park by bringing high-quality people, which is impressive. Are there any areas they could improve?iTechArt is very good. The only thing that would make them better would be if they worked with us on-site. They’re a great group of people, and it’s a pleasure for us to work with them.Do you have any advice for potential customers?Know the type of skills you’re looking for and share them with iTechArt’s business manager. Additionally, understand that they’re in a different time zone and have clear expectations regarding working on different schedules.

**Feedback Summary**: Vention (formerly iTechArt Group) has successfully assisted the client in delivering to the end customers. They have provided high-quality services in a timely manner. Their flexibility and the quality of staff are hallmarks of their work.
""We are impressed by the flexibility and the close collaboration we have had so far.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.I am Director of Engineering at Choco. We build software to help companies in the food-industry (restaurants, vendors, etc.) move to more sustainable food-systems.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire iTechArt Group, and what were your goals? We were ramping up a new team and additionally needed quickly the support of more developers in specific functions like mobile and web. We hoped to bring more value to our customers in a shorter time frame with the support of ITechArt.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors? Our main criterion was speed. We needed to staff up our teams quickly and were happy that ITechArt was just as fast in providing us with help without having to blow up our budget.Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.We have two native mobile applications written in Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android. On web, we built our web app with Microfrontends using React. Our backend is an AWS-managed GraphQL service called Appsync. **RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?Since the engineers were spread across teams/projects, I can share no key metrics. In the end, we did manage to deliver the outcomes to our customers in a timely manner. On top of that, we admire the execution mindset and dedication each individual brought to Choco. What did you find most impressive or unique about this company? We are impressed by the flexibility and the close collaboration we have had so far. Things can change rather quickly and ITechArt is a great sparring partner to have alongside a quick-growing, fast-paced business. Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently? The quality of engineers really varies. Not all of the engineers worked out over the course of the year. Primarily due to communication skills but also some lack of seniority. While different companies have different needs, I would recommend that every engineer has a good set of English skills.

**Feedback Summary**: Vention (formerly iTechArt Group) successfully built an MVP, which was well-received internally and externally and helped the company proceed to the next phase of company growth. The team collaborated on Jira, Slack, and Figma and followed an agile methodology with one-week sprints. Overall, they were talented.
""The flexibility and ability to staff unique needs on a very tight timeline were world-class.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.I'm the CTO of a startup company. I am responsible for all technical architecture, personnel, and product decisions.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire iTechArt Group, and what were your goals? We hired iTechArt to develop our initial product, from scratch, through MVP. The product was a relatively complex system with many cloud components.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors? The deciding factors in initial selection were reputation, cost, talent, and availability.Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used. The scope of work started with product definition and specification, included architecture specification, and ultimately implementation. The implementation details included selection of FE and BE programming languages, the DB architecture, and security components. How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions? The number of vendor team members varied from 4 to 8 at various points on the project.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables? The MVP was extremely well received by customers and investors, enabling the next phase of company growth.Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.Project management was an Agile variation, with 1-week sprints. Typical PM tools were used for this - JIRA, Slack, Figma, etc. What did you find most impressive or unique about this company? The level of technical talent is generally very high, however the higher-level client engagement function is exceptional. There are regular team performance reviews which includes the account manager as well as the local engineering manager. Problem areas are immediately acted upon, and the vendor team is very good at maintaining a very high level of team performance. The flexibility and ability to staff unique needs on a very tight timeline were world-class.Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently? The technical performance and result were remarkable and left little room for improvement. The company specializes in technical work however, and as a client of the vendor there is a significant obligation to provide high quality product leadership in order to achieve the best result.

Vention (formerly iTechArt Group) is a reliable team that offers quality service.
""We are very pleased with the work they have produced for us.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.I am the CTO of a fintech called Remotiv. We specialize in Retirement Readiness and Financial Wellness services.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire iTechArt Group, and what were your goals? We initially hired iTechArt to design and develop a new mobile application and that evolved into an ongoing full-stack relationship. They currently provide design, PM /analyst, mobile development, UX, back end and QA resources across our suite of services.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors? We were initially enamored with the design work on some projects we reviewed. This led to a deeper vetting through conversations with the team and a few referrals. They provided a thorough project proposal after reviewing our specifications and we were happy with the proposed tech stack, resource plan, and estimated cost for the project.Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used. The project was to deliver a new mobile application for ios and Android in React Native. This included an api layer in C# and a backend administrative portal in React, deployed using CI/CD on AWS and our existing SQL Server database infrastructure. Based on our requirements a detailed specification was written by our iTechArt analyst resource, the designer developed a prototype in Figma and the developer resources were off and running after the sprints were defined. Our relationship evolved to enhancing our existing platform on the same tech stack as described above. How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions? We currently employ 6 resources:1 PM / analyst1 designer1 QA,1 full stack developer1 back end developer2 mobile developers

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables? We were very happy with the initial specification, the design prototypes and the accuracy of time estimates on the sprints. The app was completed and we decided to continue the relationship. The app is still in beta mode however we are well on the way on the 2.0 release.Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness. The PM has been a great resource for us and we communicate daily via Slack and have a couple video meetings a week to review any open issues, requirements and design prototypes. JIRA is used on the backend to manage the open issues and sprint details. What did you find most impressive or unique about this company? We decided on them based on the design of products they delivered and were equally impressed with the design work they did for us. The full stack engineer is very well versed in devops and the AWS stack that we use. We are very pleased with the work they have produced for us and continue to provide quality work for us.Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?Communication was a big concern due to the offshore nature of the relationship. While this could always be better I am happy to report that it exceeds what our initial expectation was. The biggest hurdle is the time difference but we are managing this accordingly.

**Feedback Summary**: Vention's (formerly iTechArt Group) efforts allowed the successful development of the product, resulting in new customers. They cultivated a seamless partnership through constant updates and a collaborative approach. Overall, their team’s well-rounded expertise was impressive.
""They made the process of scaling up the team painless and quick.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.I'm the CTO of a fintech startup operating in Africa providing an API to business to be able to issue physical and virtual debit cards to their customers.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire iTechArt Group? We needed back-end developers, business analysts, UX designers and QA testers to augment the small in-house team at Union54.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this agency and what were the deciding factors?iTechArt approached us when we concluded our Y-Combinator seed round - they made the process of scaling up the team painless and quick, whilst providing high quality resources.Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project. The API was architected as a serverless, event-driven system that needed to scale effortlessly and provide a performant transaction processing capability. We therefore initially needed back-end developers with AWS serverless experience to add scale to the engineering team, as well as QA testers to ensure a quality product. As the system grew in complexity, a business analyst was added to the team to help with the specification of new features. We also need to build an admin web interface, and at that point needed to add a UX designer to the team so our front-end developers had a well specified design to work from.Describe the recruitment process in detail.Initially we discussed requirements with the account manager, providing an outline job description for each of the roles. We were then able to interview the candidates and set them a practical exercise to assess their skills. Upon a successful result to the exercise, we agreed start dates and simply signed appropriate SOWs.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success? We were able to put our MVP into production within 3 months of inception and continue to issue new releases on a regular basis. This has allowed us to capture new clients on an ongoing basis. How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?A daily standup helped to keep everyone up-to-date on each other's workloads, and we used a shared Jira kanban board to allocate workloads and check overall progress and move requirements from initial definition, through development, QA and into production. What did you find most impressive or unique about this company? The breadth and depth of talent that they have on tap is impressive, account management is also excellent - if any issues arose, they were swiftly dealt with in a positive manner. Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently? As with all offshore / nearshore resourcing, sometimes English was a barrier to efficient communication, but with the addition of a business analyst with excellent English skills, this problem was actually addressed.

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.I am the Senior Engineering Manager within a Fintech company. I am responsible for the payments processing software teams.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire iTechArt Group, and what were your goals? We were working on a project to roll out our product to the US. Part of the project involved developing a new payments architecture. For this we have four engineering teams focussing on different areas of the architecture. iTA provided both Go & PHP developers to build up our engineering teams.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?I was referred to iTA by the head of our business unit who had made initial contact with iTA.Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used. The team worked on the development of new micro-services as part of our new payment architecture. This involved development in GO. In addition iTA provided one PHP developer to work on maintaining our existing solution. How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions? We had 6 engineers from iTA, from relatively junior software engineers through to senior engineers.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables? The iTA team members worked successfully within the teams to successfully deliver a quality solution (very low number of bugs) on schedule.Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness. The teams worked as agile scrum teams. Each team has a dedicated scrum master. Jira was used as the project management tool. The teams followed all the standard ceremonies for scrum. What did you find most impressive or unique about this company? We were able to specify our requirements. iTA worked hard to understand our exact requirements, including working directly with their delivery manager, to ensure that the candidates provided met our requirements. In addition I met bi-weekly with their business manager who at all times was very helpful and enabled us to mutually provide feedback to each other. Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?Nothing

**Feedback Summary**: Vention (formerly iTechArt Group) fixed previously existing issues of the community forum, such as missing or misplaced comments and disorganized posts. The team also helped the client migrate from Firebase to Firestore. Moreover, they had a communicative engagement, and the developers adapted to the company culture.
""I was impressed with how much the company cares for their employees.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.I am the cofounder and Head of Product & Experience at Aavia, a Gen Z female hormone health brand educating people and providing insights about their hormone cycle.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire iTechArt Group, and what were your goals? We initially brought in iTechArt to build a community forum within our app, where members can post questions about their health to other members and medical advisors. Since we were impressed by their output, we continued working with them to build out insights, health logging, onboarding, and revamping the Bluetooth protocol to our hardware device.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors? We searched online for overseas contractors as most US hires were out of our startup budget. We chose iTechArt because they were not only affordable, but had strong candidates and have worked with ClassPass before, where we have an investor.Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used. Our product designer provided their team with wireframes and designs of a Reddit-style community page, where members can post questions, react to posts, and leave comments. As there were many Apple safety requirements for forums, we pushed out many iterations of the feature on TestFlight every other week for testing, before we pushed it live to our users after 3 months. Our members told us that the revamped community page is much more reliable than it used to be, which we were very happy with. Now, we release builds every other week to our members with new feature updates, such as a new onboarding flow and actionable insights based on health logs. How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions? We currently have 2 iOS developers from iTechArt.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?Prior to iTechArt, we had several issues with the community forum, including comments appearing on the wrong posts, comments not appearing at all, or posts being displayed in the wrong order. They were able to fix all the issues and migrated everything from Firebase to Firestore. Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness. The developers are very communicative over Slack and update their tickets in Jira in a timely manner, making it easy to know where they are in their development process. What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?I was impressed with how much the company cares for their employees. As they do have many developers in Ukraine and Belarus, they were able to provide relocation resources quickly to the developers when the Russian Invasion broke out. I also love that they not only match us with the developers based on their skills but also based on whether they would be a culture fit to the our company. Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?Nothing I can think of!

""The team worked quickly and was extremely responsive.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.I am a co-founder of a keto diet company headquartered in New York.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire iTechArt Group, and what were your goals? We wanted to rebuild and expand our existing Android app to be on both iOS and Android and add a huge number of features.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors? We searched online for a few months between freelance sites, google and clutch and interviewed over a dozen vendors. We decided to work with iTechArt due to how competent their team was throughout our meetings, as well as the overall assessed cost for our project.Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.We decided on utilizing React Native so we could hire one team to build out both iOS and Android apps simultaneously. We worked 3 specialists from iTechArt - frontend, backend and API developers. Our redesigned app had dozens of screens and hundreds of new features which we built out over 3 years with updates released roughly every one or two weeks. How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions? We hired a frontend, backend and API developer.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables? We launched the new version of the app after about 6 months on both iOS and Android. We're very happy with the team and final results of the app (we had ongoing development for 3 years).Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness. We used slack for communication and I (co-founder) was effectively the project manager as I had enough experience from a technical and design standpoint to work with the developers. The team worked quickly and was extremely responsive. What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?Their mobile app development skills were very high level. There wasn't a problem they couldn't solve. Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently? The team was great with not much room for improvement. I'm very familiar with development and delays and know to expect possible issues that come up sometimes.

""They deliver strong code quality, high test coverage, and brilliant architectural design.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.I'm the Head of Engineering at tails.com - a company that provides tailor-made pet food via subscription to over 250,000 pets monthly in 9 countries and counting.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire iTechArt Group, and what were your goals? We hired iTechArt to place engineers into our existing teams in an augmented way, as well as standalone teams to deliver an entire project on their own.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors? We were looking for a company that could offer us great talent quickly, at times when we'd have peak resource needs and hiring in the UK would take too long but also for side projects so that our perm team can continue to focus on our main projects. The engineering pool size and quality at iTechArt stood out as substantially above their competitors when speaking to the company and some of the engineers - which was then underpinned once we started working with them.Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.Engineers from iTechArt worked on several projects with us, ranging from Python-based APIs to full-stack applications written in Python and Vue.js, to pure frontend single-page applications written in Nuxt.jsHow many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions? We've worked with up to 5 engineers, which included a mix of frontend, full-stack and back-end specialists.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?Despite a very tough and immovable timeline, the Nuxt.js project was delivered bang on time and with fantastic results. They deliver strong code quality, high test coverage, and brilliant architectural design.Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness. We did the project management ourselves, working directly with the engineers. All of them were strong communicators, always available and reacted quickly to changes in scope and priorities. What did you find most impressive or unique about this company? The quality of engineers. We've worked with other near-shore companies in the past and despite giving them a clear brief, ended up rejecting the vast majority of profiles that were put forward to us. iTechArt was the opposite. Profiles were on point and when we interviewed the engineers, almost all of them were added to the team. (for comparison, we hire 1 out of 300 perm applicants)Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently? Not that I can think of. Marc was always there to check if things are going well and even at the slightest challenge he reacted quickly so solve it. Can't ask for more.

**The Review** — Dec 13, 2021

**Feedback Summary**: The client is delighted with the platform development work the teammates from Vention (formerly iTechArt Group) have helped complete. Their team is experienced and passionate — they put in the extra effort to deliver exactly what the client needs. Communication is excellent and their teammates take feedback well.
"“Vention (formerly iTechArt Group) isn’t just there to complete a task, they’re building a product with us.”"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I am the head of engineering for a UK-based property portal that hosts properties for sale or rent for several real estate agents. The app also has several additional features, including home moving, energy, and broadband services. We also have a service that allows buyers and renters to submit forms to book evaluation and viewing appointments.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with iTechArt Group? We wanted to bring on an offshore team to scale our team up and down where we needed to.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?iTechArt Group’s developers work alongside our team on website development. They also work on the backend of our system and handle some other development aspects. Since our company is still young, their team has played a big part in developing each aspect of our platform from scratch. What is the team composition?About 8–10 teammates from iTechArt Group are embedded in my engineering department. On average, each team in my department has 1–2 iTechArt Group teammates. How did you come to work with iTechArt Group? My CTO and I worked with a few development companies before looking at iTechArt Group. My CTO knew the CTO of iTechArt Group, so we contacted them. We had a chat with them and highlighted our product, what it was, and what we wanted to achieve. We were looking for a specific engagement style that wasn’t purely project work; we wanted to embed iTechArt Group teammates into our internal teams. We needed a company that we could partner with long-term that could develop a deep knowledge of our product and our voice. After we discussed our engagement plans and the different roles we needed to fill, iTechArt Group provided us with some developers to interview. Those developers needed to have good technical and communication skills. A lot of their team had experience in the type of engagement style we wanted and knew how to scale projects up and down. Also, we liked that iTechArt Group had UK-based managers that we could talk to without worrying about communication issues or language barriers. So, we hired them. How much have you invested in them? We’ve invested about £1 million (approximately $1.3 million USD) with iTechArt Group. What is the status of this engagement? The partnership began in July 2020 and it is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? There are no specific metrics I can point to that measure the impact of our engagement with iTechArt Group, but we are happy with their work, and our partnership is continuing. The developers from iTechArt Group have really helped my company build and launch the platform — they continue to ensure the platform runs smoothly. How did iTechArt Group perform from a project management standpoint?iTechArt Group’s project management is good — we have a direct people management style. We have regular meetings, and each iTechArt Group teammate has an individual meeting with an internal team lead. They take feedback well and are consistently promoted for their high-quality work. We use various tools for communication, including Slack, Microsoft Teams, and a video call platform. What did you find most impressive about them?Compared to other companies I’ve worked with, iTechArt Group’s developers are more experienced and passionate about their work. There are a lot of teammates who make the extra effort and work past contracted hours to deliver for us. It makes our entire partnership work smoothly — iTechArt Group isn’t just there to complete a task, they’re building a product with us.Are there any areas they could improve? It would be helpful if iTechArt Group and I worked together to set up review meetings every 3–6 months to discuss the overall team, what is working well, and what isn’t. While we do have regular meetings, we don’t often look at the broader picture to see how team growth might help our project over time. Do you have any advice for potential customers?I would advise customers to talk through the type of engagement they are looking for with iTechArt Group and the developers they want. My company spent a lot of time interviewing their team members, treating the early stages of our partnership as a recruitment phase, and I would advise other companies to do the same.

**The Review** — Dec 13, 2021

**Feedback Summary**: It's too early to note any specific results, but the engagement has been heading in the right direction. Vention (formerly iTechArt Group) is very easy to work with — they're always accessible, hard-working, and able to address issues in a timely manner. Their communication and project management skills are notable.
""Their team is easy to work with, and they all continue to work hard.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.I am the Director of Engineering of a learning platform and content creation company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire iTechArt Group, and what were your goals? We hired iTechArt to add to our internal team of developers, to assist with large upgrades to our systems, and offer ongoing development of new features. We also used them for our annual penetration testing.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors? We searched for vendors online, and did interviews with their sales team, and then in some cases with developers from their team. Cost, ability to work in house with our team and scaling options were the deciding factors.Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.We have used the team for a large scope of work, but key things have been upgrading our Python backend, migrating our database to SQL and updating our JavaSript code base to use React. How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions? We have had two lead engineers, and four mid level engineers working directly with our team.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables? We are still in the working stages of the project and have no measurable outcomes yet. Early signs of improvement to API response speed is heading in the right direction.Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness. We use Slack, Jira and weekly calls via Zoom. All the team are highly available and are good to work with. Leaders on the team manage their teams well, and have worked directly with internal developers and stakeholders when required. What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?Their team is easy to work with, and they all continue to work hard. Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently? We had some issues early on with one developer, who was removed from the team. Identifying that earlier internally to iTechArt would have been better, but once the concerns were flagged, the management team dealt with the issue swiftly.

CTO, Medical Device Startup
- Industry: Other industries

- Client size: 1-10 Employees
- Review Type: Phone Interview

**The Review** — Mar 23, 2021

**Feedback Summary**: Vention (formerly iTechArt Group) delivered a responsive product that satisfied not only design but also functional requirements. Despite writing code in different locations, they facilitated easy collaboration with internal team members. Effectively tackling a complex initiative, the team produced a streamlined app.
""Vention (formerly iTechArt) managed complexity and found efficient, clean solutions."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m the CTO of a startup working in medical device development. We’re researching new medical monitoring indications for patients with specific conditions and risks.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with iTechArt Group? We sought an integrated solution that would allow our custom sensors to interface with a variety of preexisting tablet and mobile devices.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?iTechArt developed an app to serve as the primary functional data displays captured by our sensors. They started from scratch, so we began the process by identifying user workflows and required interfaces. Their team worked with us to create a UI/UX. Once we settled on the app’s look and feel, they moved into the development phases. For its initial release, their team only built the app for iOS devices. The overall purpose of the app is to serve as the primary UI and data display for our remote sensors, which communicate over Bluetooth. The UI displays values coming from sensors in an understandable format for users. Once the user determines whether or not the data’s appropriate, they can move on to data collection, which the app handles, stores, and uploads to central servers for processing and analysis. What is the team composition? On the technical side, we had a primary contact. For project questions, we communicated with David (Sales Director). Olga (UX/UI Designer) created the UI prototype, and Nikolay (Senior Software Engineer) focused on backend coding. How did you come to work with iTechArt Group? From the beginning, iTechArt approached the project with the right perspective. Their team was interested in engaging in a rapid development cycle, which fit our needs. They were ready to understand and quickly move to the specification and prototype phases. In addition, iTechArt presented an overall good value. What is the status of this engagement? We began our initial pathfinding engagement at the end of 2019, and we started the project in early 2020.  They produced a usable output around the early third quarter.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? The success of the project was determined by how the final product fit the intended use case and the number of end-user complaints. Regarding UI, backend data logs, and responsiveness, the app has performed very well. Considering those elements, the app was a success. How did iTechArt Group perform from a project management standpoint? We primarily used a high-level timeline with milestones regarding the initial concept development. After we established the initial concept, their team moved into backend work and coding. We tried to keep the use of external tools lean, so we used spreadsheets and an online tool for UI prototyping.iTechArt also did a good job with code management on the server. I had an engineer working on backend code in one location while they worked on code in another location. That was smooth. What did you find most impressive about them?I was impressed by their ability to understand what was asked and turn the question into functional solutions that accounted for the literal request and potential pitfalls. They delivered a solution that didn’t create additional issues, which I’ve seen when working with other vendors. iTechArt managed complexity and found efficient, clean solutions. Are there any areas they could improve? No, nothing comes to mind immediately.Do you have any advice for potential customers? This is standard practice but think through everything you want to do. Come to the table with a high-level vision for how all of the components should interact.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with iTechArt Group? We integrate with multiple core services in the banking industry, which demands significant work efforts and human resources. We went to iTechArt to help us with deliveries on some sprints.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement? The effort is around wrapping SDKs in our environment. We’re running a React Native mobile application for iOS and Android, and we need vendor services to be translated into that code. We take packages from vendors and wrap them in a React Native format. This is what iTechArt is helping us with: taking code from existing sources and adjusting it to our needs. We’re developing a fintech banking app for making payments, requesting and managing cards, and, in the US, scanning checks. What is the team composition? We’re working with two developers and one coordinator from iTechArt.How did you come to work with iTechArt Group?I connected with them on LinkedIn. We had a call, and I liked their approach. How much have you invested with them? We’ve spent £12,000–£16,000 pounds (approximately $16,000–$21,300 USD).What is the status of this engagement? We started working with iTechArt in September 2020, and the partnership will be ending in mid-December 2020.

It’s been a great experience. iTechArt is always on top of things. We’re happy with the quality of their work. How did iTechArt Group perform from a project management standpoint? We’ve used a Slack channel, and we have weekly calls, discussing both the development and the coordination side. What did you find most impressive about them?Their overall project management structure was very impressive. The communication was fluent and good. Are there any areas they could improve?I don’t think so. They’ve delivered exactly what we expected from them.Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs? It’s always good to have the project scope figured out before onboarding developers.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with iTechArt Group? They’re our e-commerce development partner.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?iTechArt has played a critical part in the development effort that’s complemented our internal resources. They’ve been involved in both the ideation and development of features and functionalities, which involve aggregating customer information and unique data. With our team, they’ve helped develop algorithms that help predict value for our customers’ assets, while at the same time creating the aggregation technology and machine learning to discern value very quickly. The team developed our iOS app, using a wrapper for the Android app because we wanted to have a single code base. What is the team composition? There’s probably a dozen developers of different types working on our projects. One of the advantages of working with iTechArt is not only their deep bench and skill set, but also the ability to tap into specific development needs as the use case arises. How did you come to work with iTechArt Group?iTechArt was my e-commerce development partner at another company I’d founded. They helped me build out the platform and expand both geographically and with regard to functionality. We identified them through an RFP process. We selected them with an initial modest-focus assignment, and then expanded. I was really impressed with their effort, which is why I hired them again. What is the status of this engagement? We’ve been working together since May 2018.

Having been through many development cycles with different firms and internal resources, I’ve never lost any sleep about the development process and the quality of the foundation technology with them. How did iTechArt Group perform from a project management standpoint? The project management has been excellent. There’s been some cyclicality in both the cadence of work effort and the project needs, and iTechArt has always been flexible with regard to both of those aspects of the development process. The team has been able to meet all deadlines, and they perform very well. From a project management standpoint, we’ve been very pleased. What did you find most impressive about them?At a high level, iTechArt delivers outstanding quality on time and on budget, which is all we can hope for. Also, all of their developers are in one place. They’ve been able to establish a team effort that’s very important to project continuity. That cohesion has been extremely helpful to our process. Are there any areas they could improve? No, they’ve been able to adapt to any challenges.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire iTechArt Group, and what were your goals?Web and mobile (react native) engineers. Our goal was to improve our MVP. We had clearly defined features and products we wanted to ship but lacked the team. We wanted engineers who could get shit done without needing perfect PRD's.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?Referred by another founder. He spoke highly of iTechArt. I had a hard time interviewing, it was hard to tell who was good. So I did references on the engineers for their past projects and they were glowing. It was a pretty easy decision after that.Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.We started off with 1 web (rails & js) engineer and 1 react native engineer. The web engineer worked directly with me and i basically ended up letting him run with everything and i just scoped stuff out roughly and he was able to crank out everything. For mobile, we had a clearly spec'd mobile app and the react dev ran with it. When we pivoted we hired two more rails engineers. We're now a team of 5 engineers with 3 from itechart. We built an MVP in 3 weeks when we pivoted and have been improving it ever since. How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?4 3 senior rails 1 react native

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?Finished mobile app (didn't launch b/c of covid) Launched 2 redesigns. Launched 1 MVP. MVP is now doing 50k+/mo in GMV in third monthDescribe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness. It's up to us. We use github for basically everything. For different engineers you can spec projects to varying degrees. I've been pleasantly surprised by how they can run with ambiguous requests. What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?Quality of engineers for priceAre there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?I wish they could learn the types of engineers we like and hand place the best that would fit instead of us having to interview them (probably an impossible task but we can dream)

**Feedback Summary**: The API has been particularly successful, helping bring in clients from partnering sites, it contributed to a significant increase in revenue. Organized, reliable, and communicative, Vention (formerly iTechArt Group) worked largely independently. They were able to build strong relationships with their partners.
"“The python developer felt like another member of our team and would work on whatever was necessary at the time.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m the VP of product for a B2C startup that provides a free moving concierge service as well as an app and related services for people who are looking to move. We connect them with professional movers. A curate d set of service providers that we’ve partnered with. We have a website and mobile app to provide their details and get matched with a  moving service.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with iTechArt Group? When we first brought them on, we were looking for general staff augmentation. It’s hard to find really talented engineers. We were looking to expand our team with high-quality talent. We also specifically needed a React developer, which was very difficult to find.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?Over the last two years,  they’ve built a React Native app. They’ve also developed and improved various backend features.Their Python developer worked on various backend APIs on our website as well. This would help our demand partners integrate with us.The  API allows our partners to push information into our platform so our customers would have a seamless experience. When or partners’ clients go to check out on their site, they get a little advertisement asking them if they want help finding a moving company. Then, they can pass into our experience without having to fill out all the same information. All of that is prepopulated in our system. The Python developer also developed an API from scratch with various endpoints for our partners to connect to.What is the team composition? We brought on one React Native developer as well as one Python developer. How did you come to work with iTechArt Group? They worked with some other startups that we were familiar with. We were attracted to their expertise in the real estate industry specifically, and they had a practice around mobile development that was very appealing. How much have you invested with them? It’s about $150,000.What is the status of this engagement? We started working together in November 2018 and we wrapped up in March 2020.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? The partner's API contributed to 20% of our revenue growth in 2019. It’s a key aspect of our partnerships, and it’s what we rely on today for our partners to send clients our way. iTechArt Group has been instrumental for those partnerships. We didn’t have the capacity to complete this kind of project without them. It was a very successful project. How did iTechArt Group perform from a project management standpoint? They were very autonomous. We’re a small team, with not a lot of managerial resources, but they were able to pace themselves. They required very few check-ins to stay on pace. They’ve been able to roll with us as we go and adapt to what we needed as a startup. We had daily standups over zoom. Those face-to-face interactions really helped us develop a relationship with them. They had full access to Slack, which helped them navigate our team as well. What did you find most impressive about them?iTechArt Group favored and facilitated direct relationships, which empowers their developers. The Python developer felt like another member of our team and would work on whatever was necessary at the time. They were comfortable jumping into different parts of our codebase, trying out different technologies, and working through our stack. Are there any areas they could improve? No, I don’t think so.Do you have any advice for potential customers? If you treat your third-party developers like one of your own team members, they’ll take ownership of the work, the product, and the team, just like any other developer. I would definitely recommend that you give them access to Jira, Slack, and Zoom too.

CTO, PhoneWagon
- Industry: Other industries

- Client size: 1-10 Employees
- Review Type: Phone Interview
- Verified

**The Review** — Mar 24, 2020

**Feedback Summary**: The platform was presented to investors, and they were able to raise a considerable amount of funding. Revenue continues to grow, and customers are happy with new features. Despite being based overseas, Vention (formerly iTechArt Group) ensured strong communication through a locally-based project manager.
"“Without them, we’d probably be paying double for the resources.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there. My company is named PhoneWagon and we do call tracking for marketers and small businesses. We also provide a communication tool for our clients to contact their potential leads. I’m the CTO.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with iTechArt Group? We needed to build and MVP product to show investors. iTechArt Group provided resources at a good cost to build out this product.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement? It was a web application. After we developed an MVP, they helped us optimize what we already had in place. They helped us create a better version, fix some technical issues we had, move to a newer tech stack, and include new features. We initially built everything off of Twilio, so they worked closely with us on that. Our MVP was written in .NET on the backend, and they helped us transition to a Clojure backend. What is the team composition? We worked with a project manager that is local. Then the team fluctuated between 1–2 members during the duration of our project. How did you come to work with iTechArt Group? It was difficult to find Clojure developers. We went through a program called Techstars, so they were recommended. How much have you invested with them?We spent about $200,000.What is the status of this engagement? We started in May 2018 and it’s ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? We were successful, and were able to raise a little over $2 million. Revenue continues to grow, and we’ve been able to deliver features that customers ask for. All of our projects have been successful. We’re happy working with them and want to continue to work with them. Without them, we’d probably be paying double for the resources. How did iTechArt Group perform from a project management standpoint? They’re based in Belarus, but our local project manager was easy to communicate with because he was in our time zone. We also met face-to-face a few times. We touched base once a quarter. What did you find most impressive about them? One resource in particular added tremendous value to the team. Their training and experience was great. Using their network, they were able to find someone who knew Java and could work in Clojure. So they had a pool of resources to recruit specifically for our needs. Are there any areas they could improve?Nothing stands out.Do you have any advice for potential customers?Interview the developer you want to bring on board to make sure that they’re able to communicate well and understand your domain and the problems you want to solve.

#### Dev Staff Augmentation for Financial Services Company
**The Project**
- Services: Web Development
- Project size: $50,000 to $199,999
- Project length: July 2019 - Ongoing

**Project Summary**: Vention (formerly iTechArt Group) provides IT staff augmentation services to a financial services company. They’ve coded a rebranded app, integrated an analytical model, and helped with compliance work. Their support is ongoing.

**Review Rating**: 5.0
- Quality: 5.0
- Schedule: 5.0
- Cost: 5.0
- Willing to Refer: 5.0

**The Reviewer**
Director of Product Management, StreetShares
- Industry: Financial services

- Client size: 51-200 Employees
- Review Type: Phone Interview
- Verified

**The Review** — Mar 16, 2020

**Feedback Summary**: They’ve played a critical part in the company’s growth, with their work on the rebranded app helping to secure large clients. They supply proactive, timely, and skilled developers who don’t hesitate to challenge assumptions. They’re accommodating of the time difference and offer reasonable costs.
"“Vention's (formerly iTechArt Group) team takes ownership of delivering the best possible product they can.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there. The StreetShares platform is a multi-tenant on-boarding, decisioning, and lending platform provided to banks, credit unions, and non-financial institutions — organizations that aren’t technically banks but want to provide loans to their small-business customers. As the head of product for the platform, I'm responsible for the functionality of the component lending systems as well as conceptualization of new services in the Lending as a Service model.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with iTechArt Group?Last summer, during the pivot, we took our old application into a white label model, so that banks could actually make it feel coherent with their online banking experience. If they didn’t have a strong online banking experience, they could, at the very least, make it feel like the app was part of their offering. In doing that, we also made a number of radical changes to the way the borrower application worked. We needed more capacity to do that, so we looked to iTechArt to supplement our team.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?iTechArt provided two fantastic developers on super short notice. From a coding perspective, they started the work on the branded application before my in-house team even began on the project. About two months later, we added two more developrs. When we delivered in December of 2019, a large proportion of the application had been developed by the iTechArt developers.Since then, we've worked together on a number of other challenging projects. Throughout iTechArt has taken our ideas and concepts and run with them, delivering the best possible solutions and products. What is the team composition? We have four developers from iTechArt at the moment, and may expand in the future. How did you come to work with iTechArt Group?I’d worked with iTechArt at my previous company and had a fabulous experience with them there. When I got to this company in early 2019, it was fairly obvious that we didn’t have nearly enough developer capacity to meet our business needs. I suggested we contact iTechArt and a couple of months later we began the current relationship with StreetShares. How much have you invested with them? We’re at the low end of $50,000–$100,000. The cost is very reasonable for what we’ve gotten. What is the status of this engagement? We started with two developers in July 2019, and then brought on two more developers from iTechArt at the end of August. We rolled the project out in December. The work is ongoing.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? All four developers we have from iTechArt have just been fantastic. Something I really love about them is that they’re experienced and not afraid to ask questions or suggest better ways of doing things. They challenge assumptions and drive us to try better software. When we’ve worked with offshore developers before and told them to do something, they’d do it to the letter. iTechArt’s team takes ownership of delivering the best possible product they can. They’ve been just fantastic to work with, from start to finish. They’ve been responsible for developing a huge portion of the project, and they’ve done a fantastic job.The branded borrower application — which iTechArt built a significant part of — has been the deciding factor in bringing on a number of our largest clients. I don’t have actual statistics, but I believe that our two largest clients have said that they signed up with us because they felt that the application was so lovely and provided such a good experience. It’s clearly making a huge impact on our ability to sell to our clients. How did iTechArt Group perform from a project management standpoint? They’re proactive in noting where things are and whether they might miss a deadline, although I don’t think they’ve missed any. They’re fast; if anything, we have trouble keeping up with them. They’re happy to work during our working hours. They’re off and on until at least 11 in the morning, and often until 12 or later, which is fairly late in the day for them. That gives us a nice chunk of overlap with our in-house team. They work as part of our team, and they’re right there for sprint planning, common grooming meetings, and standups. What did you find most impressive about them? We’ve been able to bring in absolutely top-caliber talent. These are developers that we’d be happy to hire locally if they were here in this tough job market. They’re just super professional, really good developers. We’ve been able to get them in quickly, which is hard to do at the moment if trying to hire domestically. We’re often looking at a three-month or longer timeframe to go through the recruiting and onboarding process. They’ve all been up to speed really fast, so they’ve been easy to work with from infrastructure and DevOps perspectives. A lot of people think of offshore teams as being second-tier, but that hasn’t been our experience at all.Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs? They should treat iTechArt as part of their team and let them do what they do well. I think we’d get tripped up if we treated them like junior developers and they needed to be told every little thing; we’d unnecessarily slow them down. Clients should treat them like the senior developers that they are. My experience is that iTechArt will perform just like the local developers in the same capacity.

**The Review** — Mar 11, 2020

**Feedback Summary**: The team completed the required deliverables within the proposed timeline and budget. Exceeding the expectations set by the client, they used their transparency and superior communication skills to provide a stand-out service. The client referred many other companies to them.
"“They created an extremely robust, complicated project reliably.”
"

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.I’m the former owner of an applied physics company.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with iTechArt Group? They were responsible for building out the entirety of our API and tech infrastructure.

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement? After determining the best market fit, we built out the entirety of our technical infrastructure. That included API integrations and documentation. I visited their offices to build rapport and hand-pick the team of engineers myself. We requested that they create the infrastructure using Python and MySQL. Our team provided them with designs, and they handled the technical end of the work. We built a large database of consumer information. Companies were able to use it to gain insight into their callers’ demographical information. For instance, an amusement park could use it to see if a single person was calling rather than a mother of three. We provided insights and data that way. They created that from the ground up. What is the team composition? We started with one developer but scaled up to a team of eight people. They assigned a project manager to the work to keep communications streamlined.  How did you come to work with iTechArt Group?I found them through my network after I was referred to them. Over the years, I got to know their team. Because of my positive experience with them, I’ve referred them to several startups in my network. What is the status of this engagement? We started working with them in July 2014–2018.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?Everything was completed on time and any delays and downtime were very rare. I was really impressed by that, previously thinking this was unachievable. How did iTechArt Group perform from a project management standpoint? We communicated with our project manager over Skype and email. What did you find most impressive about them?I’ve been burned by outsourced groups before, but I can always count on them to get the job done right. They created an extremely robust, complicated project reliably. Similarly, none of the companies I’ve referred them to had anything but a positive experience. Are there any areas they could improve?Their communications were handled particularly well. Do you have any advice for potential customers? We’ll continue working with them into the future and recommending them to others.

**The Review** — Feb 11, 2020

**Feedback Summary**: The team delivered quality results across a variety of projects. Vention's (formerly iTechArt Group) competent team is eager to provide a high level of customer service and support. The team establishes a smooth workflow, ensuring both teams are on the same page throughout the project.
""They were really easy to work with at the end of the project."
"

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.I am the CTO of a small company that provides customer engagement and conservation software to water utilities.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire iTechArt Group? Our web application and mobile apps were looking a little dated and somewhat dissimilar from each other. We also needed more capacity on the backend team to quickly release some important road map features. What were your goals for this project? We wanted to release some roadmap features quickly, include updateing the web and mobile applications to have the same look and feel.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor? We have used iTechArt before and had good results. We choose to use them based on our positive experiences before.Describe the project in detail. There were several projects:Existing ios and android apps were modified in a variety of ways to improve the user experience and aesthetics. The web application was rearchitected and rewritten in React to provide a better user experience and to match the look and feel of the mobile apps.Several major road map features were added to the platform. What was the team composition? We were assigned 2 developers, one backend focused and one frontend focused. I directly managed the developers with daily standups, writing stories and reviewing pull requests. We also had a non-billing technical lead/supervisor from iTechArt. The technical lead took a hands-off approach once my competence at and interest in managing the developers became apparent. I think he would be very helpful for less technical and/or experienced clients.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?Over the half-year engagement, the iTechArt developers helped us deliver substantial improvements to the platform, mobile apps, and web apps. The developers were highly competent and eager. How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs? The workflow was great. They raised $231M+ in funding to continue driving real change across 23 locations worldwide.

### Web and native solutions for a fitness startup
Back in 2013, ClassPass set a highly ambitious goal: to bring together the world’s best workouts on one app. Once ClassPass had become the premier fitness membership platform, all it needed was the right engineering partner to help meet its goal. Vention made the cut.
The challenge
The project scope far exceeded ClassPass’s existing resources, and quick team growth was vital, but they didn’t have the time to hire gradually. Thanks to our pre-vetted talent and streamlined staffing approach, we were able to step up and build feature-rich iOS and Android solutions from scratch and help develop a venue portal and admin panel for more effective user and studio management.
Our impact

In just two months, 35+ best-in-class Vention developers were on board.
We set up a CI/CD pipeline for internal services coupled
with DevOps best practices that helped ClassPass expand to 30 countries and unify more than 40,000 studios.
Backed by Vention from Series A to Series E and beyond, ClassPass not only became the world’s largest fitness network, but also the first unicorn of the decade to achieve an $8.4M valuation.

### Backend and Frontend optimization for Vestwell
New York-based fintech company Vestwell identified that one-third of small US businesses had a big problem: the lack of a retirement savings plan due to high costs and administrative burden. To close the gap, it built a pioneering API-based technology that streamlines workplace investing programs.
The challenge
Powered by an ambitious plan to power 30 million companies nationwide, Vestwell enlisted Vention for a series of development projects that could improve the entire platform and enhance recordkeeping modules. Vestwell also relied on us to fold in high-stakes integrations with state retirement plans and the Voya and Franklin financial platforms.
Our impact

We evaluated and refactored product code to increase agility, security, and development speed.
We engineered three advanced recordkeeping modules and integrated existing infrastructure with third-party HR and payroll systems.
Having supported Vestwell since its Series A, we’ve watched the company grow into one of the top US digital recordkeeping providers.
In 2020, Vestwell reached 200 percent overall growth, followed by a $63M Series C in 2021 led by Wall Street giants such as Wells Fargo, Goldman Sachs, and Morgan Stanley.
In 2022, Vestwell was on track to achieve 3x client growth.

### Humanizing healthcare with technology
As part of its mission to deliver exceptional online healthcare
to organizations across Canada, telemedicine startup Dialogue developed a winning formula: proprietary technology powered
by the country’s largest virtual medical team paired with
patient-centric care.
The challenge
After several unproductive engagements, Dialogue approached Vention for our DevOps expertise, backend proficiency, and cloud know-how. We immediately set to work building an innovative virtual clinic.
Then, when COVID hit in 2020, Dialogue experienced a 5x surge in demand — and traffic — and their ongoing success rested on their ability to act fast. That’s when a dedicated Vention team jumped in and took over ongoing optimization that kept the company going in a time of crisis.
Our impact

Having partnered with Dialogue since their Series A, we’ve supported them all the way through a partnership with Sun Life and a $79M IPO in early 2021.
The latency of heavy queries was reduced from 60 seconds
to under 30 milliseconds.
We deployed a multi-account AWS environment
designed to provide granular, centralized, and secure control over workloads.
We delivered a virtual clinic, automated patient management, preliminary screening via a chatbot, and assistance in preparing the platform for SOC 2 certification.

### Web development services for EliseAI
Amid the affordable rental housing crisis in the US, New York-based startup MeetElise developed an innovative solution: an AI leasing assistant that helps agents convert prospects into residents in a fully automated and cost-efficient way.
The challenge
After a series of high-ROI pilots with leading property management companies, MeetElise was looking to further enhance their platform. Referred by a former Vention client, they approached us for our web development expertise; they particularly needed to optimize their solution’s database performance, reduce run costs, and increase organizational efficiency.
Our impact

We implemented Amazon Cognito and Spring Security
to boost the company’s cyber resilience across the entire value chain.
Our team integrated several business-critical property management platforms and built AI-powered automatic replies, resulting in 30 percent faster client onboarding.
Our QA squad set up a new testing framework for timely bug fixes and better code quality.
MeetElise can now respond and answer questions 24/7, improving conversions by 65 percent and freeing up bandwidth for their leasing teams to tackle more complex tasks.
In 2021, the company raised an additional $23.6M in funding, bringing the total to nearly $31.3M, and reached more than one million total rentals available on the platform.

### Resident services platform for Carson Living
With the residential property sector slow to digitize, Carson Living was one step ahead with its innovative idea: an all-in-one remote doorman and virtual concierge system designed to facilitate a more connected and personalized living experience.
The challenge
As Carson’s core engineering team, we needed to cover every aspect of web, mobile, and QA with apps that allowed convenient handling of maintenance requests, payments, and deliveries via a 24/7 remote service center. Our next task was
integrating the solution with mission-critical hardware, including keyless electronic locks, live cameras, and wearables.
Our impact

We facilitated easy remote access and control of all properties listed in the system.
We added hundreds of new buildings to the platform, enabling more self-guided apartment tours and improving productivity.
Due to frequent traffic spikes, our team also fine-tuned API architecture and set up load balancers to drive system responsiveness and overall business continuity.
Carson became a proptech pioneer and later partnered with market leader BuildingLink. In 2021, they doubled our team to build more solutions for millions across the US.

### Custom development for Verfacto
The ultimate goal of Verfacto, an advanced customer experience analytics platform, is to make data analytics work for a user — and not the other way round. By offering much more than just charts and graphs, the company helps businesses chart a winning marketing strategy through daily reports, real-time customer profiling, and AI-powered behavior predictions.
The challenge
Though already successful in its field, Verfacto partnered with us to expand the solution’s functionality and maximize performance. Our major goal was to help the company handle millions of concurrent workflows more seamlessly and with less resources, which was possible thanks to leveraging the Cadence code platform.
Our impact

Vention’s engineers optimized data processing with the help of HyperLogLog to enable Verfacto to count unique users faster and in real time.
We also introduced analyzing and aggregating customer-related data so online shops could improve customer segmentation and speed up the system’s response times.
Our team added reporting functionality based on aggregated data; this empowered Verfacto’s clients to quickly get visibility into what customer groups buy what and when — and adjust their strategic vision accordingly.

### StoneX: A trading partner you can trust
StoneX provides exceptional liquidity and service to trade global markets.

Challenge
StoneX was looking for a fintech-minded partner that would cover the full spectrum of services, from web and mobile engineering to test automation integration, followed by development and continuous enhancement of an extensive Salesforce solution.

Solution
Vention started by setting up a mobile team that brought native iOS and Android applications to the table. After the successful completion of this first stage, we moved on to web development.
To polish the products, Vention’s QA engineers conducted several rounds of test automation (smoke, regression and web service tests). This saved more than two months of testing per release.
As part of our Salesforce offering, we executed the optimization of database structure and refactoring. Vention’s team also put special effort into the initial deployment of the overall Salesforce strategy, including integration with payment and electronic signature systems.

Forex.com was very satisfied with the timely, on-scope and on-budget project deliverables, which resulted in a new cooperation with one of their acquisitions - City Index.

### Trading solution development for Axiance
Responding to ever-increasing competition in trading, Cyprus-based online broker Axiance (formerly EverFX) launched a major rebrand to enhance its services and value to customers. Increased efficiency and automation was the name of the game — and Salesforce was the replacement CRM of choice.
The challenge
Recommended by Salesforce and our existing client IC Markets, Vention stood out among competing software vendors and was selected to develop a full-fledged CRM solution. Our challenges were to seamlessly migrate 10 years of data from the existing infrastructure to Salesforce, reduce manual errors, improve user retention, and increase customer loyalty.
Our impact

First, we helped Axiance select the right Salesforce licenses to future-proof their investment. After just one week, Axiance was so impressed that they engaged us for custom client service development.
Our team integrated multiple APIs into the new system without downtime or data loss.
We added new languages to the system, plus 200 different methods to deposit or withdraw money.
We also redesigned the client-facing mobile app on both Android and iOS for 24/7, on-the-go insight into assets in real time.
Overall, this brand-new omnichannel experience dramatically increased sales.

### Salesforce implementation for IC Markets
As one of the world’s most renowned Forex brokers, IC Markets wanted to better serve its 200,000+ active clients worldwide by going digital.
The challenge
The goal was ambitious: replace a 10-year-old legacy CRM system with Salesforce and fully automate all core business processes. As an experienced digital transformation advisor and Salesforce partner, Vention was fit for the job, so our team of senior developers and Salesforce specialists set to work.
Our impact

We interviewed key users and performed a thorough requirements analysis to get the inside scoop on IC Markets’ current sales processes, corporate hierarchy, and goals.
Our team outlined a detailed tech strategy and scheduled all required workshops and training.
We set up Salesforce Sales Cloud and then migrated data from the existing CRM. We also customized the synced database, elevating the customer experience across every touchpoint.
Vention’s engineers configured advanced reports and dashboards for increased visibility, enabling IC Markets to track sales spikes and generate brand loyalty.
IC Markets now has a 360-degree view of their customer base, as well as automated KYC (“know your customer”), lead generation, and account management processes.
The new CRM system reduced new user onboarding time by 30 percent.

### Martech software development for Merkle
Since 1988, Merkle, a data-driven performance marketing agency, has transformed into a global leader, managing operations across fifty global divisions and more than 13,000 employees worldwide.
The challenge
With plans to ramp up customer acquisition and better serve its 400+ big-league clients — Canon, Twitter, and Volkswagen among them — Merkle had outgrown the capabilities of its established software solutions. Given our rich martech expertise, the company first engaged Vention in 2011 to extend its digital offerings.
Our impact

Throughout our ten-year partnership, Vention has built a wide range of projects for Merkle’s multiple end clients. From .NET-based enterprise platforms to native mobile apps and API management, we’ve increased ROI and conversion rates for each engagement.
Our team also implemented a new agile development approach that enabled Merkle to respond better to uncertainty. In particular, upon Merkle’s special request, our engineers acquired Sitecore certifications and kicked off an extremely time-sensitive project – all within a few weeks.
We also built a custom issue triage framework spanning the client’s entire QA ecosystem, while sharing valuable insights into possible system limitations and third-party risks.
Most recently, we leveraged the best-in-class UI tool Storybook to document website use cases for one of the world's largest office supply companies, helping it streamline front-end development, testing, and documentation.

### Innovative security solution for DAQ Electronics
DAQ Electronics, a powerhouse that builds high-end access control solutions for some of the most secure locations in the world, aimed to secure its success into the future.
The challenge
Amid rapid technology change, DAQ’s goal was clear: to complete a series of system and software updates to meet their evolving needs. As their products’ legacy features no longer passed muster, they also needed new communication protocols, more drivers, and additional hardware types. A lack of documentation further complicated matters.
Our impact

Our team of security engineering experts gained insights into the inner workings of DAQ’s firmware, taking over the support and development of new features.
Next, we overhauled the backend of DAQ’s solutions. We migrated the existing functionality to a new, high-capacity architecture quickly — and with next-to-no business disruption.
We also began building a web server and a mobile app
to help users streamline and digitize their security management pipelines.
Our engineers have led dozens of DAQ’s award-winning projects from concept to reality.

### Repeat prescriptions in the palm of your hand
Two-thirds of prescriptions in the UK are refills. But with an average of 10 days and several trips from GP to pharmacy needed for patients to obtain their medications, change was needed. Cambridge-based startup Healthera had the cure: an app that allowed patients to request, track, and manage repeat prescriptions in just a few taps.
The challenge
When they needed a proven healthtech partner, Healthera turned to Vention to accelerate innovation and product development. Priority was placed on making Healthera’s pharma supply chain more resilient, which was of utmost importance during the height of the pandemic.
Our impact

We created a solid refinement plan from the ground up, including code refactoring, mobile app architecture redesign, and QA automation framework development.
Next, we set up containerized infrastructure to empower the delivery of high-quality code — faster and at scale.
We addressed the latest mobile accessibility requirements, ensuring best-in-class UX and improving customer retention.
Our engineers enhanced the geo-based search, which supported same-day drug delivery.

### Medical aid where it's needed most
Since its founding nearly 50 years ago, healthcare non-profit Doctors Without Borders (MSF) has experienced phenomenal growth, expanding its presence to over 70 countries. Historically, the company used multiple Salesforce systems to manage its global operation, but this ultimately led to decentralization and lots of disconnected data.

Challenge

MSF wanted a partner with highly specialized non-profit expertise and that could help them merge multiple CRMs into one powerful solution

Solution

Once our team was in place, we quickly centralized all Salesforce instances, allowing MSF employees to manage all of their tasks with a single app, from anywhere in the world. Doing so also improved data retrieval, thanks to trimming down duplicates and outdated registries.

To future-proof the new system, our team solved a number of pre-existing security issues, revamping access control and record management systems as well as enhancing the platform’s overall stability through the latest Salesforce APIs.

Two years of active engagement (and counting!)
Enhanced operations for 65k+ employees
Salesforce merge performed in just a month

Key results

Through our work together, the client managed to eliminate their many CRM silos and increase productivity and collaboration across 65,000 employees globally — all in less than four weeks.

Since then, we’ve continued our work together, fine-tuning the MSF system and making monthly updates.

### Channel Management system for video ad company
Zefr is the leading video advertising company enabling brands to run targeted ad campaigns, as well as monetize and protect content on key social media platforms.

Challenge

To keep up with the increased number of users and workload, Zefr was looking for a brilliant engineering team that could blend with the onsite one. The Client turned to Vention to improve the existing Rights Management system, create a robust solution from scratch, and optimize it according to constantly shifting business and customers’ needs.

### Web development services for DealCloud
DealCloud is a world-class provider of CRM and deal management solutions for private equity firms and investment banks. Before teaming up with Vention, DealCloud built its SharePoint-based CRM system. However, clients' diversified needs prompted DealCloud to create a more versatile and flexible solution.

Since 2016, Vention has been implementing new features into a once-created platform to tackle all the rigid requirements coming from enterprise-level investment companies. The integrations we've made are designed to deliver precise data for better business analysis and decision-making processes. DealCloud's solution helps clients create extensive email campaigns, analyze recipients' interactions with emails, use the most precise data from external providers, and synchronize with Microsoft Office products. To enable the automation of transactions and deal-making activities, Vention's engineers developed an AI-based model that handles large data sets generated by capital market firms.

Throughout our 6-year partnership, Vention has been providing DealCloud with the exact skill sets needed, i.e. backend, frontend, QA, and DB specialists capable of handling complex, high-volume systems.

Among the technologies, our engineers use both time-tested technologies, such as .NET, as well as the latest versions of React/Redux. To accelerate data search amidst the huge databases, we use Elasticsearch, Kibana, and AI Search. We also use Azure stack (Storage, Topics), as well as leverage AWS products and services.

After DealCloud joined Intapp, our engineers were entrusted to develop a comprehensive cloud-based platform - OnePlace, which will manage all phases of client relationships throughout the professional and financial services transaction ecosystem.

### Curated meals for happy canines
Although one-third of all UK households own at least one dog, Britain’s $3.6B pet food industry was struggling to meet owners’ demand for nutritious options. Spotting an opportunity to create
a custom pet food subscription service, Nestlé-backed company Tails.com had a recipe for success.
The challenge
With thousands of five-star reviews, Tails.com needed an engineering partner to take their platform to the next level. Vention jumped straight in with four backend engineers.
Our impact

Our team improved the existing admin tool’s UI for more personalized customer experiences.
Next up was a time-saving feature for generating printable labels, QR codes, and barcodes.
We developed microservices from scratch, adding new functionality across cataloging, order prioritization, and billing management.
Finally, we introduced build testing and an embedded monitoring service to speed up development and provide more visibility into app performance. These efforts boosted conversions and drove sustainable innovation for 200,000 Tails.com customers across 10 countries.

### Salesforce implementation from scratch for GiG
Despite specializing in innovative iGaming solutions, until recently, Gaming Innovation Group struggled to manage tens of thousands of leads via Google Docs and Forms.
The challenge
Drowning in documents, GiG needed a system overhaul. After
a referral from our partner Webveto, Vention jumped on board
to help GiG reduce and automate document flow while updating their existing Salesforce CRM. A second phase of work focused on marketing automation to track form submissions and email campaigns with 360-degree visibility.
Our impact

We rolled out an initial workflow automation plan via Quip and Salesforce Surveys. Next, we cut time and costs by 30 percent and fully automated Google Form submission, collection, and analysis.
We were then engaged for Jira integration with Salesforce CRM for automated project management and task sharing.
These additional Salesforce features empowered the company to work smarter, reducing manual mistakes and increasing average speed-to-lead by 50 percent along the way.
We helped GiG deploy automation across the company, delivering game-changing user experiences
to 400 employees and millions of GiG clients worldwide.
